Beach front Italian cuisine restaurant. The food was excellent. Tuna tartar with avocado, spring rolls, parmigiana melanzane and jumbo shrimps. Unfortunately no tiramisu left for us.Do recommend this nice place.

You can tell this is the best pizza in Zanzibar because — just look at the cheese. And I grew up in New York city so I know what good pizza is. Highly recommended!

It truly was an absolute delight eating at this beautiful restaurant. The view from the top is incredible and it was the best seafood we had in Paje. The Octopus and Calamari were soft, Pasta sauce deliciously seasoned and balanced. The only thing that is a bit sad is that there is no alcohol. 😉

Great Italian pizza. Not fresh nor home-made pasta (or was very over cooked).Strange atmosphere in the evening - very aggressive exposed lightbulbs hanging over each table.This place was good, reasonably priced and if you’re after pizza - perfect option. Pre-evening I’d recommend more I suspect

Nice ambience. Not cheap though, no card payments. The food is okay. To be fair it is good for Zanzibar standards. The food in Zanzibar is generally bad. So this is one of the better places to go here. But it’s not a place I would come back to. The service is very slow, waited about 40 minutes for pizza and pasta. Definitely below Western standards.

Really tasty food and fair prices. Their roof top seating are great. Smiling people working there.They also serve faster then other places. Highly recommended.

The octopus was just perfect, soft and flavoured 👌 in general, all the food was tasty and the prices are OK, maybe slightly higher than in other places, but totally worth it. A big Asante Sana for the service, the guy taking care of us was smiling all the time and paying attention to all the details. What they can improve is the cleanness of the toilet.

Lovely restaurant for both food and drinks and the best coffee in Paje. Pizza is tasty and so are the starter sandwiches (which are huge). Prices are a bit higher than average for the area, but worth it for the quality and the view. Service was friendly but as usual in Zanzibar extremely slow with a long wait for both food and drinks. Also beware that they do not serve alcohol.

This place - ugh. Ive been here twice now - once for dinner, and once post-lunch for juice and WiFi access. I ate dinner here my first night in Paje, as I was walking along the beach in the evening. The views from Delight are truly stunning, and the open architecture allows for plenty of sea breeze to permeate the space.Lacking a basis for comparison, I found the prices to be a bit high, but in the range Id expected for a restaurant situated right on the beach. The service was a bit on the slow end, even before the night time rush walked in. Additionally, the language barrier is real: a woman at the table next to me asked for her tuna rare and had to explain what that meant no less than three times to the waiter (he was convinced she wanted her tuna well done). I ordered their meaty calzone and a large bottle of water, which amounted to 33,000 shillings (~$14). The calzone was really a full pizza with half of it folded in on itself (two quarters of the pizza were turned over to form the calzone). Strange presentation aside, it was actually rather tasty, especially with the chili sauce, so I dont much mind.My second visit took place after I lunched further inland, maybe 1/3 to 1/3 a km away from Delight. I paid a total of $13,000 shillings at my lunch spot and was served coconut curry chicken, rice, chapati, a coke, and fresh passion fruit juice. I ordered a single passion fruit/watermelon juice mix here at Delight and will pay 8,000 shillings. That is a considerable beach tax.Im also having to consider that my lunch spot was owned and operated by locals, whereas Delight appears to be owned by foreigners who, to their credit I suppose, have hired locals as wait and perhaps kitchen staff. Im not sure what sort wages they are paid, nor do I know how much the owners pay in taxes, but the amount of grift passed on to customers for the privilege of staring out into the ocean is stunning.A further annoyance is related to the wifi. I came to Delight in order to have a juice and do some work, in effect to treat it like a coffee shop back in America; however, the individual slips of paper with login information with the staff provides is valid for only one device. Again, I dont know what wifi costs in Zanzibar are, but this seems a pretty shabby way to treat customers. Oh, forgot to mention that I was apparently kicked off the wifi/had the login credentials Id used to access it rendered invalid sometime during my dinner. Brilliant.Visiting Delight means being on the beach, so you have to expect an upcharge for that. I get it. I simply dislike the specific factor by which this upcharge is exercised. oh, and the wifi bit is pretty annoying.The food at Delight is good, but you can find as good and even better at a less expensive spot not terribly far away.

Good food for Paje beach / Zanzibar. Fresh and delicious pizza bread. Unfortunately juicer wasn’t working when we visited so weren’t able taste juices but lemon ice tea with no sugar was delicious.

The most expensive place in Paje, and not even nearly worth the money paid.Please dont eat CHEESECAKE here. This is definately the worst taste of cheesecake I ever ordered in my life.Mango juice is overpriced, and mixed with a ton of water.There are a lot better places in Paje.

We went twice to Delight Zanzibar. The place is very cosy and it is facing the ocean. First time we had pizza for lunch and second time we came back for dinner. We ordered lasagna and Thai noodles. The food was really delicious. Prices a bit higher than other places in Paje but it is worth. They also don’t serve alcohol but have good quality of coffee. Service was very good. The waiter was kind and polite. We will definitely come back.

Such a wonderful restaurant with a wonderful variety of food and drinks! Their Italian cuisine is fantastic. Located directly on paje on the beach in a lovely area, and very nicely decorated. Its a very comforting place to spend an evening or have dinner, breakfast, lunch, or a drink... You name it! They have this wonderful swing in front of the Indian Ocean that makes you feel like you are in heaven... Highly recommended!

The owner of the restaurant is extremely rude.I asked if they had working WiFi before I sat down. They told me that I can only have it if I order.So I made an order.Then I found out that they had no WiFi.The owner pretended not to understand English when I promptly asked to cancel my order.She was also very very rude.Ive eaten there before and found that the staff are a bit abrupt but I thought it was just a one off.Apparently it wasnt.The food also isnt that good compared to nearby restaurants. Save your money. Plenty of other options along the beach.

Served pizza after many days of african cuisine. Was good, ate the whole pizza by myself. Prices are a little higher compared with their neighbours, but the service beats that, being fast and without error. Italian patron btw.

Great food, normal prices on average pocket. I ate really good pizza made in real Italian way with good tomato sauce, fresh basil and good portion of mozzarella. Hot, really quickly served and only for 16 000 tzs. Good ice coffee, very nice served. Apart from really good food there is of course amazing view. Really nice interior design. Good, soft music in a background, not interrupting in talking. Great place. For sure I will come back ☺️👌

We ordered a cappuccino and a strawberry milkshake. The capuccinno came in a cup of 0.3 liter which is way to big and didnt taste after coffe but after milk. There was a hair inside the coffeeMy milkshake came without straw and didnt taste well.Great location by the way. Internet is very slow though (1mb/s)

Its really a beautiful and lovely restaurant to visit in Paje Beach . The decor is very nice. A place place in front of the sea 🌊 to eat Italian dishes. Its more beautiful during the night, so perfect for a dinner. The wind 🍃 can be uncomfortable, but the staff will always find a solution for you. And they dont serve alcoholic drinks.

We only had a coffee here wich was a nice one(better than most places in Zanzibar) they also had the soy milk option for cappucino. The view on the roof is awesome. The food they where serving to others looked fresh and tasty. Definately recommend this place!

Cozy place to chill for the whole day with the sun and waves. Excellent fish pizza fantastic cakes they make. Instead of slices we just wanted to clear the whole shelf. You wont find cakes like this in Zanzibar.

We liked the restaurant so much that we went there the next day for lunch after having dinner the previous day. Loved the view and the swings on the porch. Stray cats were a nuisance just like they are in the rest of Zanzibar. We parked near Bucaneer Diving Center, about 2 minutes walk from the restaurant. Helpful staff, although the service is fairly slow the food is delicious.

One of the best food experience in Paje. The white wooden interior with the view of the sandy beach and turquiseblue ocean is simply perfect. The food is prepared freshly, really delicious, perfect portion. The pizza is as good as my best pizza experience in Italy. Staff is very kind. Hakuna matata!

Coffee shop with great food and service. The juices and smoothies are amazing! The prices are a little high by local standards but still very low by western standards. Youre definitely paying that little extra to get access to the amazing internet speeds, very worth it. (Internet around tanzania and zanzibar are usually 4g hotspots shared among many for very low speeds. I wish I had speed checked the internet but was indishtinguable from western coffee shops)

Pretty expensive italian food but amazing cheesecakes (seriously I have no idea how they make them considering its in Africa).

I bit stone in Hawaii pizza. I complained to waitress but she did not tell me that sorry. Also they didnt bring me Olive Oil and balsamic sauce before I asked. Furthermore while I was eating she took empty plate without asking. I think staffs are needed to be trainded first. I like Bahari Pizza more in Jambiani.

Very fast service, some of the best food in Paje, good selection of dishes and drinks. Extremely nicely arranged, with a superb terrasse on top. Definitely a worth-noting place and only a bit on the expensive side. Credit Card payment not possible.

We went with the family with kids. Specifically told them to bring drinks (kids dont eat if dink before the food) with the food and one waiter brought the drinks and was not to happy to take it back.
