Beautiful newly renovated Resort. Right by the Beach. One of the most beautiful pools in Paje. The sheets and Bed was super comfortable. Very nice owners putting lots of effort to surprise their guests. Many thanks for the birthday cake. We also loved the healthy breakfast. We stayed over two weeks and will definitely be back.

Avoid this property, there is alot of issues with the previous and new administration as a result we lost a 6 night paid stay at this property. I would suggest not to pay anything upfront or book in advance with a reputable & well know brand

Lazy staff. For order like one beer you weiting over 15 minutes. They dont know even whats happen in bar. You order cocrail and they forgot bring you... You weit 20 minutes... Notice and and another 10.minutes...they dont have enaught skills to work with customers... Place need good sharp menager to tech staff maniers

Best infinity Pool in Paje. Breakfast little bit inflexible, have to pay extra for real coffee, add egg... Rooms little bit small.

We were in a restaurant. We had a pizza with prawns. Never more! We had food poisoning. The prawns were not finished. We were sitting outside when they brought us pizza, a dog sat next to us, he didnt do anything, he just sat with us. The waiter came and kicked her with strong force. The dog whimpered and flew away. Then, as if nothing had happened, the emperor went away. Absolutely strong !!!!! I definitely do not recommend this restaurant !!!

I’m reviewing for the restaurant, I didn’t stay here. I ordered prawn curry requested make it coconut curry. OMG it was the best/ the most fresh prawn coconut curry I’ve ever had in zanzibar. I could taste the ocean from the Curry. The size and the number of the prawns were more than enough. Enough curry and vegetable in it. I didn’t need to ask them extra curry sauce. It’s a shame that i couldn’t make it one more before I left :/

I apologize if I was harsh in my statements and I am very glad and grateful that you responded so quickly. Of course, no one likes conflicts and Im not happy to leave a bad review either. I hope that you will resolve the situation with the tour operator soon. Ill try to contact them too. You can give written confirmation to the guests that you do not provide the services that the guests paid for, so that customers can confirm this upon arrival home and receive their money from the tour operator.Unfortunately I cannot recommend this hotel. Despite the location and perhaps some kind of advantages there. My mom bought an all inclusive trip. But this hotel refuses to fulfill the terms of the contract or refund money! Instead of an all inclusive program with drinks, they only serve breakfast and dinner. Today they even refused to feed dinner! But after the trial, they still gave dinner. Only very poorly. The children of the guests cry because they are hungry. I really hope that the hotel will correct the situation or deal with the tour operator. Someone took money for all inclusive, it looks like a scam. Then I can leave a good review from the words of my mom.

Stayed here for 4 nights during new year’s time. Wouldn’t recommend this place as the property is extreme need for renovation and maintenance.The room I stayed in had a lot of stains in the wall and on the blankets (pictures attached). Unfortunately not enough attention is given to cleanliness and little details.Breakfast was bland and lacked variety where everyday we were served eggs, crepes and mango.People working there are nice and polite.

Its beautiful place to enjoy

The Ndame Beach Lodge is a pleasant budget accommodation on the incredible gorgeous Page Beach, perhaps the most beautiful beach in the world. The lodge does not have a swimming pool, that is perhaps the main missing item - but it is not hard to visit one of the neighboring resorts and take a dive. Or swim in the sea of course. The lodge also has a great restaurant which serves decent breakfast and dinner.

Badly maintained and cleaned. Stains everywhere! The rooms are old and there are many creatures in the rooms. We did get another room, but it was equally badly maintained. Breakfast and dinner were OK though. Worst of all, the owner did not want to talk with us, instead avoiding a meeting. The mark of a man who does not want to face responsibility. We left as quickly as we could.

This is just the restaurant! Have not stayed at the lodge. Been 3 times at restaurant. Pizza gets served cold. Calamari tough as rubber. Not impressed!

If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place to stay in family, lonely or in couple, Ndame Beach Lodge is the appropriate site.Close to kite surf windy spots, he allows yoy to alternate between real sensation and relaxation.Cottages are simple but convenient.Food is good and cheap.Beach is wide enough to play, suntan or walk.Crew is helpful and polite.Then, a good compromise for nice holidays !

Wonderful hotel with exceptional friendly staff. An amazing place to relax: enjoy a freshly squeezed pineapple passion fruit juice below palm trees while the Milky Way rises above the ocean. Lots of power outages (country wide problem) but hotel generator only supplies reception / restaurant. Hard to recharge camera batteries to capture all the beauty of this place. Rooms are fine with Ok bathrooms.

Not very clean rooms! Stains everywhere. Pointed this out and had a replacement of one sheet -Towels and everything else still stained.Bathroom drain smelled pretty bad.Big holes in mosquito net.Next door neighbor holds VERY loud party every Friday, impossible to sleep.Food at the place is ok. Way overpriced as is the rest of Zanzibar hotels.Area of hotel is okay. Not entirely as on pictures. Sun beds are very moldy. The pillows should be taken inside at night...Hired their driver for a short drive to other part of the town. Had been told by all the price was 5000. Asked the driver beforehand if it was ok, he just smiled. When the drive ended he got pretty rude and wanted more. We denied this.I tried writing them afterwards regarding this - NO answer, even though they answered at that mailbox very quickly before our stay.Would not stay again. Definitely not more than 2 stars Quality.

Very good rates for family vacations, the cocktails at the bar are great, and the range of beers is enticing. The beach front is perfect for relaxed swims, but there is no opportunity for surfing.

Poor breakfast for high price

The food and service came very fast. But the food wasnt good. The greek salad was not very tasty. There was aluminium foil in my food and the fetta was still frozen. My chocolate milkshake was chocolate milk with ice cubes. Nice view at the restaurant

Only my warmest recommendations! A place of spirit and soul, a helpful staff, reasonable prices and a fantastic location! In any way, this has created a home for me for a long time. kitchen could be faster, but the mood of the Indian Ocean penetrate deeply and create an all-permeable calm that you can take whit you through life!

Situated very good in Paje, beautiful beach and kite surfing options nearby. Food at restaurant is not really good, better options in direct neighborhood. Rooms are mid class standard. Reception very good organized

Really friendly staff here, with an incredibly beautiful beach, and relaxed vibes. Very reasonably priced with really good food to boot. We got there on a friday night and saw the Maasai show, which was definitely worth it!

We visited to see the Maasai show on Friday evening. Didnt know what to expect but it was a fantastic performance with more than 15 Maasai men performing the traditional competitive dance/jumping with singing. The show starts at 8.30pm and there is no entrance/ticket fee - just buy food/drinks in the restaurant but remember to give a tip to the performers at the end. We had the all-you -can-eat buffet for $14 per person which was great Swahili food including lots of seafood (I really enjoyed the octopus)

Beach, beach and beach again. This is the coolest place on Paje Beach. Opposite this hotel in the ocean there is a clean sandbank, no vegetation and silt at the bottom, swimming is very comfortable. At first glance, the hotel itself is not very good, but when you start swimming in the ocean, you understand all the advantages.All the houses are buried in greenery, from each bungalow there is a sandy path to the coast, in fact, it is 5 minutes to the water along the perfect sand.Of course the hotel is no longer 3 stars, for those who love comfort - do not go to this hotel.This is a place for nature lovers, ocean lovers, for those who like to swim and spend the whole day on the beach.The hotel is old, they dont quite follow us, but the African flavor and the location itself are very favorable. Photos from this place are very cool.We were not intimidated by the low tide, because in the heat, one thing remains - to walk to the reefs in crystal clear water. This is an unforgettable experience.I am delighted with this place.And if you like the presence of a refrigerator and a gorgeous buffet - choose another hotel and another place.

Apparently it was better here before, but now the hotel does not correspond to 3 * and reviews here and on the booking. Pros - location, couple of gazebos with sofas and ocean views. Cons - dead plumbing, unpleasant odors in the bathroom, no air conditioning, and ceiling fans either dont work or dont blow. Dump directly on the beach on site! An hour of time is needed for one person to remove it, but no one does. The hotel restaurant is more expensive than the one next door and the food is worse. Breakfast meager monotonous, nothing. Further, it may not apply to the hotel, but it will interfere with your rest - the crows who scream very loudly and swarm right outside the bungalow starting at 6 in the morning! There are no windows, so you cant sleep without earplugs. The staff are quite friendly and helpful, but not very enthusiastic. Towels are changed upon request and they are washed but stained. There is nothing for children. The region itself is good enough for beach recreation and water activities, but in terms of service, the field is not plowed.

The location is good, the hotel does not have three stars, a maximum of one. Broken plumbing, no hot water, the ceiling is leaking, there are cracks all around. Always snakes crawl. The canopy is full of holes, mosquitoes at night. Breakfast is disgusting. Deficiency of cups. But a beautiful beach, a magnificent view of the ocean. Its fun to wander around literal at low tide.

The old hotel, bungalows, were here for the first time, the first impression was not very good, but we arrived at the fact that this is not a luxury place and for this in a couple of days we adapted to this life, but for me personally, the beach here turned out to be the best, a lot of vegetation palm trees, which means a lot of places with shade, because this is Africa and the sun here is not like in other countries, it burns the skin to ashes)) the sun is very harsh, but in general it is normal if you are not picky. But if you are spoiled by service and food, then you will not have it easy here)) in general, the tour agencies write that this is 3 stars, but in fact 2. We took a ticket for 115 our neighbors in a bungalow for 112 tr, for 10 days, with breakfast, I think this is an adequate price. The bottom line is old, with boring breakfasts, no air conditioning, but there are two huge fans, many different insects (dont bite, dont be afraid, just crawl everywhere) there are nets over the bed, our bungalow was cleaned very well after cleaning, there were no complaints, and the staff is friendly and tries to please how to fix the situation.

This is not a hotel ... the bungalows are not bad, cleaning every day. The service in the restaurant is worse than you can imagine, the cuisine is not very good prices, more expensive than in general on this beach. Very friendly staff and well trained. Furniture can use some love, but you can really chill out there. The kitchen is just right, delicious seafood curry, fresh fish, kingprawns, pizza and burgers and swahili dishes. In the 2 weeks that we have been in Paje, it turned out that this is one of the better places to eat. The accompanying Ndame Beach Lodge is fine, a bit dated, but with good beds with mosquito net and fan and everything located in its own large tropical garden. The surveillance is provided by several masai warriors who take their task very seriously. If you want hip and cool and modern music you shouldnt be here. Are you looking for a relaxed place, no hassle, great food and a place right on the beach then this is where you should be

Lodge in Zanzibar style, surrounded by greenery, on a dream beach .... in the bungalow, take into account a few various ants ... geckos ... but very few mosquitoes ... cleaning so-so, but you have to adapt, .... we are in Africa .... great food and drinks, and at medium-low costs, excellent breakfast !! Not for those who expect luxuries and pomp .... but for a pure relaxing holiday ... with an ocean with beautiful colors and very hot water .. !!

Lodge directly on the sea and surrounded by nature. Excellent restaurant serving local and international dishes. The hotel should be set up a little, putting the windows and the air conditioning in the rooms would make the stay much more pleasant for the guests. For the rest we are close to the concept of Earthly Paradise!

Very nice location on the sea .. We have never stayed overnight but we often go for an ice cream in the afternoon enjoyed on the terrace with a wonderful view ... In the evening I recommend you enjoy a great dinner sitting at a table on the ocean with your feet on the sand, candles and if you happen on the right day that seems to me on Thursday also a local musician in traditional clothes who with his wooden musical instruments plays a relaxing and harmonious music .. The pizza is very good .. I recommend it

The bungalows are good, you can live but without air conditioning, the area is basically clean, and if you remove the old dry foliage it will be even better, the cocktail bar did not work

Great kite spot and a very nice lodge, guarded by the Maasai warriors, what else is there to do? Food also excellent. Beer is not always cold enough.
