Easily the best place to stay in Paje: really relaxing and chill atmosphere, beautiful rooms and green area, location is perfectly on the beach and next to Mr Kahawa restaurant. Definitely has a best value for money in the area.

Regrettably, this place has changed for worse. During my last visit, I was assigned a room with a broken toilet. As a result, I have to spend most of that day outside of the room. By the way, the manager seemed to be uncomfortable because I requested to fix the problem. After that experience, I noted overcharges in my bill, overpricing mojitos from their original price in about 50%. Eventually, after complaining, they removed those charges, but the negative impression remained. On top of that, some guesses were listening music loudly as if they had paid also my accomodation.

The location and the restaurant are the highlights. The rooms are below average and overpriced compared to the neighboring resorts. The bed fell almost apart, we had a horrible smell in the shower every day, air conditioning was driping at night and the fan loud as a helicopter on level 1. The guys at the reception were nice but didnt really feel comfy with their job. The pool was really dirty half of the time with pool lights hanging out from the side.

Probably the best hotel in Paje in terms of location, food and value for money. The staff is friendly and helpful. It also has a pool that is a huge advantage as the beach can get quite dirty due to the tides. It has a waterfront restaurant that is absolutely fabolous, amazing breakfast is served but unfortunately only from 8:30-10am which is a bit uncomfortable if you plan to go on some daytrips. Everything is fresh and homemade and their coffee is outstanding.

The places where I feel at home. The staff really takes care of guests and tries to do everything for the comfort. The breakfast is amazing and the location is excellent. Was my second time this year and will definitely return.

Beautiful location just in front of the beach (although protected from the sand and wind), nicely arranged and decorated. The whole area is clean and well maintained. There is a swimming pool, small restaurant and kitesurfing school next doors.The rooms are rather big with cute bathrooms, with space to dry the clothes, also protected from insects with additional mosquito net covering all the beds. The service is attentive and helpful. Breakfast is quite good (served+buffet), the dinners are buffet style, with local food. Multiple nice restaurants around. TIP: Payments with cards have 5% fee and often dont work in the area, finding a working ATM is also not easy. Make sure to figure out the access to the hotel if you come by car.

We had the most amazing week there. The hotel is very charming with an amazing location, right on the the beautiful, white sandy beach of Paje. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Super tasty food. I would go back any time! Thank you so much for Ellen and her lovely staff. :)

So this place was previously called Kitete Beach Bungalows. We made an online reservation three months ago (March) and when we showed up yesterday we were told they had changed the name to The Waterfront and then permanently closed about two months ago (April 2018). The grounds had been abandoned and no one was there. The area was pretty run down and looked like it had been unkempt for a while. The number on expedia was invalid. The number on their website was incorrect. We ended up driving in circles and talking to neighbors until we got someone on the phone. He told us that they had no agreement with expedia even though their hotel was listed on expedia and they accepted our booking and payment. So they accepted our booking then shutdown and didnt inform us or cancel/refund the booking. Moral of the story this place no longer exists!!!! Dont try to stay here!!

What an oasis! Perfect location (central but quiet), beautiful garden, well-kept swimming pool, lovingly furnished rooms and friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is located on a pearly white sandy beach where you can not only swim but also kite (kiteschool in front of the door). You can have breakfast in the Restaurant Mr Kahawa directly at the hotel; very nice service, also recommended for lunch and dinner. In the immediate vicinity of the hotel you will also find many other restaurants with a diverse selection and typical African souvenir shops. You can book your trips through The Waterfront, especially go snorkeling!Arjen and Ellen, owners of the hotel, are very concerned with their guests and show their faces daily during breakfast for questions or just socializing. And in the event of an emergency, they are really ready for you: they have taken us personally to the local (by the way very good) doctor. We have had a wonderful holiday here and can absolutely recommend this hotel!

I was surprised that the spa massage was ok than I thought.It was very pleasant compared to other places, and a little narrow but neatly maintained.I kept my face and body parts and all towels and cloths clean and replaced them with new ones.The price was very reasonable. (Of course, it was expensive compared to the local street)It was $ 30 for 60 minutes and this was the most expensive menu. Good price!Also, this is my first time to do more than time.Highly recommended and 100% revisit.

Nice place for a kitesurf holiday with kids. There is a pool shared with the hotel The Loft which is located on top of Mr Kawahi Restaurant. Zanzibar Kitecenter is located right in front of the hotel so you can change into a kite surfing family. We even brought kites and boards as it is not safe to rent due to tuition. Those who run the place are sweet and the service is good. The food also comes quickly in the restaurant.

What a nice place! Attractive spacious rooms in a beautiful green area. And you walk straight onto the beach. There is also plenty to see and do in the immediate area. Staff is friendly and helpful. Absolute must !!

I think Zanzibar is the best kite spot. I was racing on the seashore but the shore was shattering everywhere. The person of the hotel is very kind. You cant get an alcoholic drink on the shuttle, which is strange. No music is going to sound if I turn on the music to say no to switch it off. In some cases, the whole person begins to dance. The morning sorna. Sotlan is the same every day. The rooms are clean and neat. There is no room in the rooms, which is negative at the level. Against this, it is a very cozy and pleasant place. Im sure I will get back here.

Small hotel with pool. It is better to take the room closer to the pool, then there will be a large terrace in the branches of trees.
