We were greeted on the beach, very friendly and decided to give it a try. We walked up a sand footpath to the restaurant which was very beautiful. If you sit on the top floor, you have a nice sea breeze. The food was delicious and full of flavor. The octopus was very tender, had a lot of flavor and was very tasty. We were pleasantly surprised. The service was very good and they were very friendly.

The food is amazing. You get more than your moneys worth of food. You can order ahead of time and they will gather the ingredients fresh for you. The food is full of flavor and tendor. The staff are friendly and very helpful.

Visited twice during our weeks stay in Paje. Its up a sandy footpath just behind the beach and if you sit on the top floor you get a nice sea breeze. Enjoyed our food both times, however I must say I wouldnt have stayed the second time if I had known how long the wait was going to be. Service was clumsy and we waited 2hrs 45min for 2 simple dishes (fish and rice). We are used to having to wait around 1 or 1 1/2 hrs for food usually, but this really was a long time. The prices are nice and cheap and you can bring your own alcohol since they dont sell any. Would visit again only if its quiet.

Watch out! Thieves are there! The owner pretends to be a nicey nicey lady, but I was staying in the guesthouse and regularly my items would disappear and money as well. When I brought the issue the owner started playing the victim and making big drama for hours expecting me to let it go. When I wanted to move out (after someone stole my money when only owners were inside the property) they wouldn’t refund even a single night making again themselves victims of the situation. Unfortunately this is not only my experience but what I learnt other guests too. This is very upsetting since the waiters seem to be genuine and humble people but owners are extremely dark yet covering with smile.

We ate there. We ordered zanzibar beef and cheese pizza and a vegetarian pizza. Both were delicious and portions were big.While weve been waiting for food we got free popcorn and we also got a free dessert (pancakes with chocolate and mango).Everything was great and delicious.The restaurant is placed about 100m from the beach...Prices are very reasonable and I like that its a lokal restaurant.

Absolutely great!!We went to dinner to Luciana yesterday night following the advice of a local guy - we were looking for a really typical place in Paje; at the beginning we were kinda scared cause there was no one but sincerely speaking the dinner went above our expectations.We ordered only food dishes (3 main dishes) and they were super good. Its clear, like any other place around the island you have to wait a little bit to be served, but it will worth it 😉The bill was absolutely correct and the waiter also offered us a little discount.Thus, Luciana is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED from us.

Amazing food!All the seafood is really fresh and the portions were ample. The platter with the lobster was absolutely genius.Luciana, the owner, is also around and she is very friendly and tries to make sure the customers are satisfied.As in the rest of Zanzi, dont expect a very quick service. Things take time, its HAKUNA MATATA!

Very nice service. A bit hidden but easy to find with google maps. Very nice that you can also sit upstairs, because you get some wind. The starter of a mango avocado cheese salad was really excellent. The avocado burger rather average. The meat is very gristly but well seasoned. The fries unfortunately a limp impertinence. The calamari was also anything but crispy. Reasonably priced. Maybe well try fish next time. Unfortunately, today they only had octopus and barracuda.

The restaurant is located on the 2nd line, next to the construction site, tables on the 1st and 2nd floor.The food is ordinary.Service is disgusting.Prices are like everywhere else on the beach.I repeated the order three times, in the end I did not bring 1 salad.We went to the table ourselves, no one brought the menu for 10 minutes, the order was waited for 1.5 hours. The count was 30 minutes, they asked 3 times, in the end I went to the kitchen and found the hostess (Luciana), and she wrote it in front of me.

It is very good and I love the fish they cook. .On Wednesady they organize wonderful masai Dinner and masai show with meat cooked on fire and served by masai warrior, I was so excited by this experience and on Friday they have swahili Dinner buffet with authentic Zanzibarian food .. just try It!A fantastic restaurant in Paje. Luciana, the owner, is an exquisite and friendly person. The location is quiet and romantic, suitable for couples, families and friends. The African food they cook is simply delicious .. everything is delicious and in particular I love how they cook fish. Every Wednesday organize the Masai dinner and show with Masai cooked meat on the fire and served by Maasai warriors, after following the traditional dance and I was very excited about the evening. On Friday, instead, there is the Swahili buffet dinner and here you can really taste the real Zanzibar food with the quality ... recommended .. Try it

Yesterday we visited this institution, the food was conditionally 2 +, we arrived with nungwi) the waitress who served us behaved as if she was doing us a favor (this is for service), included 10k on the top of the check, and then, when she was shown this, she counted twice the whole check and did not even apologize. They also drove for good reviews, but in fact not food, not service, they did not even reach 3 by local standards)

Excellent seafood at good prices. They cook for a long time. But we made an order and went to swim on the beach for an hour. Upon returning, I had to wait another 20-30 minutes. But it was worth it. Lobsters are great
