The food is okay but comparing to other restaurants nearby in Paje, not so special.The portions are pretty small. You only get a lot of rice mixed with a bit of fish and vegetables.However the whole ambient was nice. And they have a nice espresso coffee while most of the restaurants here actually dont.

Good local food in the middle of Paje.While you watch the busy street below you can enjoy fresh local food.Prices are very good especially when you consider that everything is absolutely fresh and made from scratch.

Good local food nothing that will knock your socks off but it does the job! I definitely recommend to try the resto with a nice view and great staff! I tried the curry and mash and the vege samosa with the African smoothie and I recommend the samosa and smoothie

Amazing food and drinks/shakes. would especially recommend the fish fingers and fish curry. If you wanna go for a spicy arrabbiata you wont be disappointed either! Great service too and the place is super cute!

Shirin was such a treat!I lunched here my second day in Paje (first full day) and loved it. The service was great - very attentive and helpful. The food was delicious - I ordered the chicken coconut curry with rice and chapati. My meal began with a small plate of popcorn and small glass of juice - both unexpected and free.The waiter forgot to include my coke in the bill, so I brought that to his attention and ordered a passion fruit juice for a bit of a post-lunch jolt. My final bill came to 13,000 shillings! After having spent 33,000 at a restaurant on the beach last night, this reasonable bit of pricing was most welcome.also, they have really great music playing through the restaurant.Definitely recommend eating at Shirin if you happen to find yourself in Paje. Sure, you wont have a direct view of the ocean, but you will have better service, better food, better prices, and most likely a better experience.

Very nice local restaurant. Here we had a fruit salad, pilau rice with chicken, and two masala beef . All was very good and ready made for Us. Price was ultracheap. Including beverages ( two 1.5 liter water and one 0.5 It beer) this meal for all us (we are 4people) cost us 37.000 shillings. About 10.000 shilling/5 usd/ euro each.

We loved it. I had dinner twice with my friends once we were at Jambiani. The view, artistic and decorations are amazing. The food and the service is super cool. Though they dont have alcohol, but still good. #rooftop has amazing view too. I would recommend to anyone to go there too. #price reasonable.

It’s a very good place with affordable prices. I ordered seafood curry with rice - it was heavenly, all seafood freshly cooked, very gentle and curry sauce tasted awesome. I definitely recommend this place.

We absolutely loooove this place. The food is tasty, the amount is plenty, the price is right and the atmosphere is welcoming. The staff are very friendly and Shirin himself is a great guy. Complimentary pop corn and water are a nice touch. It is so good that we just keep coming back. I can recommend the beef curry, veg curry and thai prawns. Your taste buds will thank you!

We ordered chicken dishes with masala tea.While the tea and the sauces for the chicken were good, the chicken itself was simply disgusting. All I got was bones and fat - no meat. We will certainly not come back here.

We just went there on luck. Very good food - definitely try the Thai Prawns! - at not overpriced prices. About €17 for 2 people including drinks. Unfortunately there is no beer, but it doesnt always have to be.

One of the best local restaurants in Paje. Great seafood dishes and delicious, fresh drinks, juices, papaya smoothies, mangoes, pineapples, etc. Splendor! For this price really really affordable. Service very friendly and at a very good level. There is no beer here, but on request the waiter brings from a nearby restaurant or store. Just please dont order pizza, bruschetta or other European dishes because they just cant do it. This is not their specialty. But the seafood is fantastic for Zanzibar. We were a large group here and everyone loved it. Except for those who chose pizza ;-) In the restaurant a cool, cool air, a hand-washing sink, a very poor toilet and an additional, covered terrace. You can smoke. Downstairs, under the restaurant, there is a mini market. It is worth stocking up drinks and other things. I recommend a drink / ginger beer STONEY. No alcohol. Interesting taste not available with us.
