A perfect restaurant located in the center of Paje. The staff was super friendly and tried to give us the best experience.Food is prepared fresh and is very tasty. The mixture of French cuisine with African spices and ingredients is awesome.

Simply the best cuisine in Paje, just on the main road (formerly on the beach). Run by a French-Dutch couple, Bounty is famous for its fresh tuna, served as steak, carpaccio or tartare. The vegetarian pasta, spicy potato wedges and homemade chili sauce are also fantastic. Dont forget to order crepes with homemade chocolate sauce and mango for desert.

The Dutch owner came to explain the menu and talk about the restaurant, she was very friendly and welcoming. The food was nice but a bit too expensive for what we got. Lovely views, nice little dinner spot

I had big expectations. That is what I typically do when the prices are sky high. But I left with a bitterness in my mouth after getting bread with mold. The same bread was served to everybody around me. Disgusting!

A very nice adress in Paje ! The food is really great, the experienced chief knows a lot about cooking, he is creative and friendly.I recommend the Burger and Fries, the meat is steep in spices, the cabbage and onions are finely cut and the bread is not a cheap industrial bread. Fries are simply the best on island, warm, tender and crispy with a great add of herbs and curry, no frozen potatoes it’s fresh and simply yummy.A very different taste and menu of what you find usually on island.The restaurant is very clean, they serve fast, the waitress is smiling and professional.The price are fair for quality of the food and kindness of owners !I will eat there again, thanks a lot 💛

This is best restaraunt on the beach around. Managed by European couple with serious faces. Very delicious meals of good size. We liked it.

Ate here on our first night in Zanzibar at the end of October. My tuna steak was tasty and so was my partners fresh snapper. Rest of the menu had a varied selection with mainly seafood and fish.The owner was very hospitable and friendly and the views are simply stunning.However after spending a month in Zanzibar we think that Bounty is definitely on the pricier side and not very good value for money. Its also certainly not the best food in Paje, despite what the friendly owner will tell you.

Went to the new bounty on the road. Setting is Nice with a big open kitchen and comfortable chairs etc. It looks really Nice. The service is quick. The food was on the table in like 10 min. After ordering.My boyfriends barracuda was cooked to perfection and tasted really good, but IT was really small. I had the kole fish and didnt like it. It tasted bitter. My boyfriend is a local and did eat a lot of kole fish before and hé also said that the Taste of it was not right. Mentioned IT to the owner. She took the plate to the kitchen and came back with IT after 1 min. Telling that this is how IT suppost to taste and they already solled a lot of kole fish that night without any complains. She gave the plate back and mentioned that i maybe Just dont like the taste of kole fish. (Its possible ofcourse, but normally i eat everything and there is not one kind of fish i dont like)Portion of the food is really small for What You pay and Its to expensive for What You get.

Nice location and the food is refined thiugh not very abundant for the high price tag. Great service. The credit card paiement system is atrocious: very difficult to manage in the dark and a cheep way to handle pavements. The owner need to improve on this big time

Fish was undercooked and it was off!. Edited. One day later. Severe food poisoning after eating just one bit of your rotten fish! So go make your investigations like you say in your reply. Thanks for taking food poisoning so seriously when it comes to your costomers. Maybe you can remember us? Two plates of fish sent back to the kitchen after 5 min. Then I demanded a discount! Terrible service, terrible food, no idea how to prepare seafood - didnt eat any of the terrible food. Calamari was like the bottom of a shoe. My jaw was in pain trying to chew one bite. The tuna steak was covered in a sauce and the grill was clearly filthy as the fish surface was covered with bitter burnt ash. I left hungry and $50 dollars poorer.Crab samosas and wedges were actually decent tho.

Fantastic staff and food. Shame about the way the male owner talks to his staff. It would have been a really fantastic evening but for him his wife is quite charming

The food in itself was fine and the local ladies cooking and serving food are very friendly, but we had a glimpse into how European restaurant owners treated them and it wasnt a pretty sight. Out of the respect for locals working in the restaurant I would not support this business and give them my money.

Terrible food. the highest price of all restaurants in the area but does not reflect quality. the owners behavior brought straight from South Africa, which she is very proud of. Staff are the best point of this restaurant, smiling all the time :)Not worth the money!!

This is how it looks a 15$ meal.. its overpriced only because is first line on the beach but the food was very average and also the staff is not trained and I didnt saw any French chef in the kitchen. Are other better options around

Amazing Fresh fish soup

The owner is french / South African and is very rude to local staff he employees. I would not support this business as a result. Otherwise staff and food were great! The owner also has a silly ponytail 🐎

The prices are way to high for the quality of the food. Hamburger comes cold with the cheapest bun possible and the cips where piping hot and filled with oil.

The price has no relation to the food, the only positive thing is we didnt have to wait long. Very small portion, although no alcohol license is the most expensive white wine on the island, Ive been there for two weeks, an experience you dont have to make.

The place is nice. The owners are French, there are makings of European service. Very entourage, tables overlooking the beach fire, romantic)

Never go inside, the food is really not good, you will just lose your money and your time.We succumbed to the call for French-style pancakes. What a mistake! Whether it was pancakes, coffees or even juices, everything was terrible, inedible ... We very quickly stopped consuming for fear of being sick.To flee(We put 1 star per obligation of the site)

Did not like. The squid was bitter (took 2 servings. To myself and my wife). After dinner, heartburn began (heartburn, if you know), which was extinguished only with pills. Original and friendly, welcoming staff but rather shy. Regarding food, we opted for a 19000 shilling formula with burger and drink. The burger was delicious, it is very good value for money.

Food is OK but too expensive and worst of all, gin and tonic is served with water instead of tonic for an exorbitant price. After I complained, she just refilled the gin and asked for more money. Just outrageous. Very bad service

Beautiful setting, hospitality and impeccable service, the carpaccio of tuna is very good, very fresh fish. Hygiene top. I recommend this small restaurant run by a charming French-Dutch couple.

The food was very good with a great atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and prepared, as was the food. The boss couple was always present and was very unfriendly towards the staff & they often shit together because of little things.This unfriendly behavior towards ones own staff is incomprehensible and a shame.

Cafe on the shore, all in the sand, with a strong wind blows very much. Food is ordinary, nothing special, but the price is expensive compared to other neighboring cafes.
