A very positive experience. We had a grilled octopus and it was great. The hamburger was average,below expectations, the avocado smoothie was delicious, we also drank other juices - very good too. The price was similar to other restaurants. It’s on the beach so the view is splendid…Maybe it could be a bit cleaner,it’s a beach style restaurant so anyway its ok.I recommend it.

Waited for over an hour for my food. Seafood Salad was like chewing gum. Service people unhappy and unfriendly. No cold beer. Fish with coconut was ok. View is nice though. But service people are the reason i won’t come back…

The place is very cousy and the atmosphere is nice.There is a space for everyone, some are dancing, some speaking laudly, the others visiting with the family or as couples, or just quitly reading a book.The stuff is nice and professional.The food was okay, but just okay.I am not sure if the fish was fresh, rice was overcooked, and potato was really not good.But to be fair, the price was also not high.If you are looking for cheap, but friendly place, with okay meal, then this is the right choice for you..

One of the best restaurants in Nungwi. Im differently going back wen i visit Zanzibar again. You sit an indulge on beautiful food right in front of white sands n a clear blue beach. The food was fresh and the beer kilimajaro was just too refreshingWe had Lobster, prawns and whole fish. The praws were served with one of the best coconut rice Ive ever tested. 😋

Best local restaurant we found in Paje & Jambiani.Great prices and big portions! The quality is excellent and the food is fresh. The potato chips are the best we had in Zanzibar.This is the only restaurant in which we eat twice. Absolutely delicious!

Phenomenal king fish, and the Zanzibar Coconut Beans were likely my favorite beans Ive had in East Africa - and Ive had a LOT of beans in the region!! The prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of the food, the service is friendly, the atmosphere is super casual, open late, the ground is sand and you can look out over the ocean as you eat. Only small downside was that the food took awhile to be ready - but that way you know its fresh!

I definitely recommend this place to eat seafood. Its one of the cheapest restaurant in Paje Beach. The food 🍲 is very good. They just need to increase a little bit the quality of the service. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay there.

2 hours wait and they forgot our order but never admitted it People who arrived after us were served their food and we would bring it up 1, 2, 3 times and then after every occasion they would say it is coming. Only for it not to be. What a joke, just be honest. I dont understand why they wanted to continuously lie and waste everyones time.Avoid unless you enjoy having your time wasted in beautiful Zanzibar.

Very slow service ordered food by 2pm received it at 3:15pm .. salad, burger ...nothing that takes hours to cook..coke was warm.. staff is neglecting customers requests... looking annoyed .bringing bills before we were even finished ...not asking if we need anything else ...disappointing ..Food is not bad tho..

Very good food and nice people

The menu is vast and lots of items to choose from. The setup is very local. You get an experience of eating at a local village restaurant with continental menu. The prices are reasonable. The only suggestion maybe to put some comfortable seats.

Delicious Seafood and very big plates (depending on the fish you choose - Id recommend white snapper). Personel is very friendly and food was served within reasonable time. Went there in low-season so though so expect longer times if Restaurant is crowded.

Don’t go for lunch&dinner to this place. The service is very slow. We waited for two hours. We asked for calamari and octopus and was like a chewing gum. We’ve been more than a week trying different restaurants around the island and this was one of the worst places.

Good food but very slow service. I sat and the waiter never came until someone else told him to bring me a menu. Once I ordered my drink and food I waited and only eventually got the food as they forgot the drink! Good place if you arent in a hurry and you have someone to chat with in the waiting!

This place is fantastic! A good mix of local and fusion food, the food is inexpensive but very tasty. My friends and I liked this restaurant so much that we ate dinner here three nights in a row! Definitely a highlight of our time in Zanzibar.

Be careful! We stopped at the main square with the motorscooter where a guy from the Restaurant told us to we could park. After we decided that we did not want to buy or eat anything and were about to leave they charged us for parking without telling us before. They wanted 5.000 shilling!!!

Good restaurant with wifi access. The food is very good, I ate it 3 times during my stay in Zanzibar.I was not disappointed, although once during dinner I had the impression that the portions were smaller, as if in the evening there was a shortage of products, so I will not give 5 stars.

Nice owner. Had the kingfish and the barracuda. Fish tasted good but was very tough and difficult to chew. Side dishes very tasty. Prices are the cheapest on the beach. Nice view of the kiters in the sunset. sandy bottom. So please come barefoot.

During the entire stay, we mainly dined and dined here. The price-quality ratio is optimal! Everything is fresh and tasty. Recommended! Everything is simple, hakuna matata style, interior and staff. Another note, for large companies, pay attention to receipts (sometimes other peoples dishes float there and the wrong amount😁)

Dishes rather well cooked, but that depends on the cook present.Excellent cocktails.The view is very beautiful, in front of the beach. Waiting time is however very long. For the price it takes 5,000 shilling for the drink and between 20,000 and 25,000 shilling for the main course.

Unfriendly service, waiting times too long, loveless food! 3 main courses were cold when they were served. No recommendation! Even if you were lying on the private beach in the property next to it and often fetched drinks, the staff was always unfriendly.
