The pool is very good and refreshing. If you are not stying there you can go and spend the day. They charge you ten dollars and use it buying food or drinks. The waitress was very kind.

Nungwi Garden is the place to be! Beautiful, friendly staff, good food/prices, nice location (2 mins to the beach). Definitely recommend it to anyone!

Before I give a high rating to this place and service itself, I have to share one story what happened to us and how management handled the situation.We stayed in Garden Boutique 3 nights and we arrived by rental car. The owner was very accommodating by offering us parking although managing very tight place to park. So we have to move every night car inside and outside. And just to mantion Zanzibar throughout, specially Nungwi is very high risk that something can happen. On the very last day when we were about to leave home, we noticed that someone hit badly our car from the back leaving huge dents and broken rear left side. Probably happened over the night on the parking lot, we never found out but it was huge stress for us knowing we are liable for damage and we trusted hotel staff when they said that is safe and they will take care of the car. And they DID.We reported immediately to hotel management since they had a car key and the owner took a responsibility right away. He said to us that we should not spoil our vacation and he will do and pay whatever it takes. We were in rush for our flight as well.So we called car rental company, they provided an estimate for car repair and the onwer of Nungwi Garden Boutique gave us a cash to pay the damage. He didnt ask a question. He stayed calm and insured us that we are in good hands. The danage was US250. That is a huge amount for Zanzibar, even for hotel owners but we we in good hands indeed.Thank you again for stepping in and taking care of your guests. You have amazing service, amazing and clean hotel, excellent locating and the greatest managing skills.We have no words to thank you for taking over the situation where we really needed it, being in foreign country and rushinh for flight.We wish you all the best and many.more happy customers to come to your beautiful place.

Hands down the best place for yummy dinner in town, the seafood Barbecue is phenomenal very good food. The seafood is caught the same day.Staff are friendly and always give good service.

We stayed here for 7 nights in December. The staff are amazingly helpful, welcoming and accommodating! Special shout out to Veronica and Anastasia, who went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The room was large and very clean, with good air conditioning. Comfortable beds and pillows, with bottled water, tea and coffee facilities provided. The bathroom was huge with hot showers and good water pressure. The hotel is so close to the beach - a short 2 min walk. Also close to dive shops and restaurants. This hotel is great value for money and we would definitely return! Thank you!! :)

The hotel is really nice. Ali, the manager is very organised and concentrates a lot on the well being of his guests. He manages all emerging crises very fast and offers a very good standard with the means existing in Zanzibar. The rooms are cleaned every day and very spacious and air conditioned. They are proper compared to existing benchmark on the island. My only remark would be to either change the pillows more often or recondition/deep clean them on a regular basis.

Great everytime smiling staff! Nothing is problem for them! Rooms are really nice (great for two couples travelling together) for reasonable price also for one couple. If you need room service you can have it every day or as you want. Breakfast is one of our favorite on Zanzibar because all the staff is very friendly - not so much to pick but everything is delicious, pancakes, eggs, fresh fruit, fresh juice.also hotel has some parking places in their area. 1 minute walking from Beach which is really nice and sunset is beautiful over there or you can go to kendwa (15 minutes) or north to see turtles pond (15 - 30 minutes). Very nice location!

Very good food at their newly opened restaurant. We have tried different places during our stay, but we ended up coming back to this restaurant as the food was well prepared. The food was very tasty and fresh. Ali (the manager) was always asking us for our preferences. You also get a free “waiting soup” while you wait for the main course to be prepared. Overall, I highly recommend the chicken curry and the catch of day. My only remark would be for the service to improve a bit to avoid confusions/mistakes/misses. However, even so it still remains the best service in area.

We had dinner here. Quite calm place, not many people as it’s not exactly at the beach.Best place so far on Zanzibar! The waiter was very friendly, the food was done fresh for us, you get a “waiting soup” and the main course was a lot. Can absolutely recommend the place!

We ended up in the hotel by chance after a bad experience in another hotel and we couldn t have done better... it was amazing... the staff the room the air con.. great breakfast. perfect location less than 2 minutes to the beach perfect place to relax and enjoy. Will be back :)

Such a wonderdul place, loveley staff, honest people, feels like a family.We spent 3 nights and 4 alsmost full days. The time we arrived everything worked Fine. Waterpressure & Temperature is great, electricity and a/c worked Fine.The rooms are very clean, so we refrained from using shoes or socks in the accomodation.Bath and rooms are more or less european standart but the african Flair is there.Kitchen is great and we could order everything and everytime. Is all very fresh and really tasty.If you ask, they gonna organize whatever you want. Either a medical case (they carry really lovely) or you need a taxi - just ask and you can feel that you will be served with pleasure.We will be really happy to come back to you guys again, you are great. Hold that on!

Hotel to flee. No condition to properly welcome its customers. Very dirty room (support photos if necessary) and a lot of bugs on the bed and on the floor and hotel close to a club so very difficult to sleep there. Very good hotel, we were very comfortable there. Juice offered on arrival. Friendly and smiling staff. The cleaning of the room is to be requested otherwise they do not do it. There is a swimming pool recently, cleaned every morning. It is a small complex of 9 rooms (two blocks of 4, no room is glued together and a maisonette next door). Located really 2 minutes from the beach, but a lot of beachboys who will sell you stuff on a loop. A little further the beach of kendwa is to be tested! Gorgeous!At the beginning of September in the morning we had low tide, allows us to see the fish in the distance but watch out for the sea urchins! In the afternoon high tide, great for swimming, no shoes are needed here, no seaweed and only sand underfoot.Concerning the restaurant of the hotel it is a little more expensive than the surroundings but the quality is better! The juices are not diluted, the vegetarian curry is very good! Problem, there are a lot of things missing on the map, it quickly creates disappointment.The breakfast is good! A real juice and a plate of fruit (which we did not choose, too bad for us when we come across a fruit that we do not like, we can tell them they do not listen => watermelon) often juice of watermelon or passion / mango. Then you choose the type of eggs you want, omelet with vegetables or scrambled eggs, always accompanied by little things that change every day. We rested from 8 to 17 December. Great hotel. Located on the second line, there is no noise from the coastal bustle. To the sea 2-3 minutes walk. The breakfasts are great: fruit plate + plate of omelet with salad + tea or coffee with croissant, cake or local tortilla + fruit juice. For dinner: seafood at a better price than the hyped first line restaurants. Local soup, potatoes, rice, a couple of salads of your choice are served with seafood for free and without restrictions. The staff are friendly, attentive. Rooms are large: 2 rooms, 2 double beds. Cleaning is daily. Leaving a tip is not taken, only from hand to hand. The hotel is small, the territory is closed from strangers. All this makes a family-friendly stay. The evening dinner several times turned into dances of guests with the staff to the lush music of African and European hits. That was great! I think this hotel is the best value for money (there is something to compare). Recommend.

She stayed at the Nungwi Garden Boutique Hotel from 12 to 24 March 2021. Staying in this hotel is a pleasant memory for me💕☺️In the first minutes, I was warmly received by the staff. I would like to express special gratitude to the girl Jane, who works at the reception, for her help, kindness and responsiveness! And also to the girl Grace for her kindness, attention and care!As for the room, it is large and spacious, beds with airy canopies and fresh roses on white sheets look very cute! 🌹From the main room, where the beds are located, you get into the second smaller room, where there is a sofa and a table. It is cozy to sit here for a cup of tea. Coffee / tea can be made right here in the room - the electric kettle is at your disposal! Also available (and functioning perfectly! 😉) A / C and safe.The bathroom is also quite spacious, which was convenient for me - plenty of space for me to arrange my cosmetics and bathroom accessories. The shower, however, without a curtain, the water flows out a little on the floor, but even I, and I wash myself for a very long time, considered it a trifle of life, especially considering that in hot climates a couple of drops of water on the floor dry out in a few minutes!The territory of the hotel is very pretty: here, like all over the island, palm trees and bright flowers grow. By the way, it is convenient to admire all this beauty from the balcony if you got a room on the second floor. On the first floor there is a terrace. Here you can swing on a swing or sit comfortably on soft sofas and drink fresh fruit fresh. The juices are just a miracle here, very delicious! I liked the hotel very much. Two houses with 4 rooms each and one bungalow. There are few people. Therefore, calm and quiet.Rooms are good by Zanzibar standards with air conditioning and safe. They clean every day, change bed linen and towels.I liked the breakfasts very much and did not get bored in 11 days. Breakfast buffet, there is a variety (pancakes, muffins, pies, buns, fruits, etc.), make an omelet or scrambled eggs.I liked the organization of the dinner very much. Mostly we had dinner here. By 6 oclock fresh seafood (tuna, various fish, large lobsters, shrimps, etc.) is displayed. You choose seafood and they are immediately grilled. And next to it there are tables with side dishes (stewed vegetables, rice, fries, stewed cabbage) and various other additives, which you can take for free throughout the dinner. There are impromptu dances of staff and guests in the evening.Yes, it is worth noting that there was often no hot water in the shower and there were power outages. But, believe me, hot water was not needed in such weather, on the contrary, after a hot street, a cool shower is what you need. And the electricity was turned off 3-4 times and a maximum of 30 minutes. Therefore, this did not in the least affect hotel accommodation.The hotel is 2 minutes from Nungwi Beach and there is a fruit shop, pharmacy and many souvenir shops nearby.The hotel made a very good impression on me.I would like to thank the staff for creating a cozy and friendly atmosphere in it and for the quivering fulfillment of their duties.I would love to return.

Weve tried everywhere 😊2 line, but 2 minutes to the ocean through another hotel or through stalls. 👍The tides were not felt, the beach is clean!All the essentials under my nose, were on kendwa - I didnt like the word at allWe took 2 excursions: from anex and from a local. Have a local rode on Mnembu, only positive emotions 🤩 (better from local ones) bargained 😊We also visited the local zoo, I really liked it))In general, the rest is super! The hotel and the location of the hotel is amazing, the beach is wonderful 😍👍

The hotel is located about 200 m from the public beach, has a large garden, dining terrace, does not yet have a swimming pool. We had breakfast included (not very varied but ok), fresh fresh fruit. You can serve lunch and dinner on site (we had dinner almost every night there) especially barbeque seafood, fish, chicken, pizza, but you can also eat at the many terraces on the beach (to the north).The staff is friendly, helpful, the hotel manager is constantly involved so that the guests are satisfied. Cleaning is done daily.The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, ceiling fan, wifi, most with double bed, there are no closets just some small clothes racks.There is a taxi rank nearby with which you can explore the island on your own and at reasonably negotiated prices.I was satisfied with the chosen location, value for money / ok - 4 stars just because it has no pool.

A small hotel under local management outside the mass tourism of Nungwi, but at the same time in the center, 3 meters walk from Nungwi beach (you can also rent sun loungers on the beach for a fee) or take advantage of the very beautiful free beaches algae. Hotel has 7 simple, clean and very large rooms suitable also for families, our room had two double beds as well as a small living room. Neat and pleasant garden. During my stay I found absolutely no problems with water pressure or power leap as indicated in old reviews, I think they have solved meanwhile very friendly staff, good breakfast, also a small restaurant for meals, very easy but good cuisine at low prices (15/20 eur per couple we spent), in my opinion they should make it stand out better since from the outside, apart from a small blackboard without prices, it is not clear if you dont sleep inside. In any case, I would recommend it to those who, like us, were looking for a solution not in a village with a competitive price for the very expensive location in itself compared to other areas.

We were satisfied with the restaurant, namely the restaurant!) At this hotel, which is conveniently located near the beach and neighboring hotels, such as Amaan Nungwi. The owner Ali very tasty cooks fish and meat on the grill, and is always interested in the opinion - he learns feedback from customers. Prices are very affordable, and it was always tasty, whether it was grilled fish, pasta with seafood or chicken in coconut sauce. Plus a nice bonus, free soups (soups of the day) from the establishment will not leave you hungry (but be prepared that soups can be a bit islandy)) Also, Ali took us around the hotel and arranged a short excursion.
