Rooms are large and clean. AC in the room and hot water in the shower. The host are friendly and are available to help you if you need.The included breakfast was perfectly perfect.Nearby the is a good local restaurant.The location is maybe a little bit far from the city center, but it is perfect if you want to take the boat the next day. Also the enter is not easy to found the first time but people in the street can help you.

We can’t say enough good things about this hotel. We stayed here three times recently- it was the cleanest and most pleasant hotel we could find for a reasonable price. It was just as clean and the trims as nice as a four star hotel we payed double the price for the night before. The staff are kind, well trained and helpful. Breakfast is good and the restaurant and shop at the entrance are really good too. 100% recommend.

This hotel was a really good surprise for me. I went with no expectations, and it was one of the cutest place i’ve been recently. Nice touch for details and interior desing in the room. I also had a table in the room, which is good as i’m working.Rooftop buffee breakfast was delicious and one of the best i’ve had with selection of different bread, homemade jams, juices, eggs (they know how to make decent poached eggs). Plus you get a really good coffee - americano, Cappuccino, etc.Location is a bit away from the main centre (like 10m walking), but ferry terminal is just some steps away. I paid 29 USD and got more than expected, probably will stay there again when in Stone Town.

A very convenient location and comfortable stay at walkable distance from the ferry and market area. Very friendly staff and they talk with a smile on their face. Good breakfast served with love. Bread, cake, jam, juice etc are made by the staff (home made) and tastes so good and natural.However some rooms have small bathrooms, but very neat and clean. Their souvenir shop is very impressive with lots of products from waste like glass bottles - glasses, airtight glass jars lamp shade etc made from beer and wine bottles.

5 minute walk from the ferry, so no taxi needed. Food and coffee is great. Very accommodating staff! Walking tour of Stone Town is a must, this hotel sits right in the edge of it and is a perfect starting point.

Its very clean hotel, very nice beach, kind hotel staff, its bordered by many local restaurants and beach restaurants so you have a variety of food options..Breakfast menu though needs alittle effort, its always e same and limited to just pastriss and fruits ..

They recommended us to check out some local markets as well as “tourists markets”.The hotel is super central. Short walk to the waterfront and restaurants and coy streets. It is also very close to the Zanzibar ferry. I love that everything is in walking distance!

Breakfast also great, they have real coffee (no instant, which can be viewed as a rarity there).Only street noise may be a bit nasty, so be prepared to sleep with fan or AC.

The place is nice, cosy and very affordable as well. The rooms are brilliant, nice hot showers, WiFi was working well and food was also very awesome. It is also very conveniently located near the Ferry place. Staff as well were friendly😎

My experience here was okay except that they totally denied finding my stuff in the hotel room. I checked out but realised I had forgotten some stuff behind called back just like two hours later and they couldnt trace them for me. Other than that, its recommendable

We enjoyed the service in this place. After a week of a lot of hassle on the mainland, zenji offered the perfect customer care we were looking for. It is located on the edge of Stone Town and its easy to walk anywhere

The cafe is well cooled and accessible, a welcomed rest point from the ferry. I had zenji lemonade and it was a little less on the lemon and the soda was almost flat.

The 4 stars are mainly for the staff, super helpful and kind and for the location of the structure that allows you to arrive in a very short time on foot on the seafront of the old city. The room was nice but definitely to be repainted and renewed a little.

A great hotel, very well located (close to everything without being in the middle of the old town), comfortable bedding, large bathroom, what more could you ask for 👏🏻 the staff is super friendly and its the best breakfast weve ever had had in Zanzibar. The staff is so sweet and caring. The rooms are large and well maintained and the breakfast (buffet) is really nice. We stayed here for two nights and we recommend it.To know: the bathroom and toilets are on the landing but that did not bother us because it is great and clean.

Good Hotel on the outskirts of Stonetown. Excellent rooms with all amenities. Within walking distance of the (boat) terminal from Dar es Salaam and great location to explore the city. The staff is even better. Helpful and very kind with a great sense of humor. I had previously lost the charger of my camera; the owner an employee with me on the road to find it. We have visited many shops and finally found one. When the shopkeeper asked too much for the loader, the owner sent someone back to get a story. Top!

Very friendly people that attends, nice rooms and breakfast very rich. The location within Stone Town is not the best but it is in a good place to spend a couple of nights and explore the unique and characteristic alleyways of the island, along with some excursions (Prision Island and Blue Safari).

Hello I leave this day zanji, a hotel that I strongly recommend, is near the ferry 2 minutes walk, the day (usually we are busy to stroll) the movement outside on the comic but from 5 pm calm returns, the staff and the management are in perfect harmony of kindness, professionalism, the mini shop is just very regulated in terms of price and quality, local accessories. Everyone is smiling we are ready magic streets and old Stone Town ... I thanked all the staff, I would return without any hesitation! The rooms are nice spacious and well decorated with traditional effects ... Thanks to ZANJI for receiving us.
