We had an amazing stay here. Very peaceful and quiet. Staff are great and everyone is very friendly! The food exceeded my expectations completely! The only thing that would be nice for the room is a fridge and air conditioning but there is a fan which is great. Overall a very good experience.

Nice, quiet and friendly environment with a lovely view towards the Ocean. Bathroom could use a maintenance touch but all in all clean and really comfy stay. Our room had nice tall windows from two sides (room 15.) King size bed and lots of space :) Backyard and the view is just unreal, specially cause its above the trees.

Serene place and staff were understanding and supportive during our stay. Good sea view and wonderful gardens. Whats needed maybe is a swimming pool

Room was on the smaller side. My room was near the seating area so could hear when people came for breakfast and there whole conversation. I wish the shower in the bathroom had curtain or something. The whole bathroom gets wet after you take a bathe. Staff was nice. I had this worm thing that would always show up then die. Bugs spray came in handy. When I first got there there was a lot of mosquitoes. Luckily they had bug spray and it worked.

I’m Tanzania this is one of the best hotels if you are in a budget. You can find cheaper or way more expensive, but this is a nice quality/price relation

The sunset view from here is peacefull... we like to come here for a café with my mum...small charming boutique hôtel close to the airport.....idéal before 1 night stay on arrival/ departure from/ to airport.

I loved this place. Worth it for the price. Amazing staff and receptionist. They were so accommodating to your needs and comfort. Ordered a full board and meals were always delicious with room service if needed. 💐

The hotel is OK if you are looking for a stop over before going to the airport. It is not a good option if you want to go to the beach because of its location.

A beautiful colonial house. It is very clean, the staff a bit spoiled but very nice and helpful. The rooms are very small with no possibility to unpack anything from the suitcase. No fridge and no air conditioning which is not absolutely necessary as there is a fan.A little far from the city !! Taxi about 15 minutes and taxi drivers dont really know it.It is surrounded by a beautiful banana plantation with huge mango trees. Breakfast is ok.For 2-3 days it doesnt have to be longer.

Hotel a bit out of the center of Stown Town’s (1 hour and 15 minutes walk) but very nice, clean and spacious.The site is incredible, as you can see the beach from the breakfast terrace.The room was incredibly large and so was the bathroom.With a fan that is appreciated.The bathroom is very large and I can only find one fault. That it has no curtain and I put everything lost, but the water was very hot and very comfortable.Bottled water included as in all places.Highly recommended

A big thank you to the Manor House hotel team for their kindness and availability. As soon as we arrived, rather late, they showed an arrangement by serving us a full menu (delicious !!!). The view is breathtaking over the banana plantations and the beach! A full and 100% Swahili breakfast was offered to us, the dream for anyone looking for immersion! Thanks to Richard for showing us around, explaining how it works and giving us great tips for our stay! Hakuna matata and thank you again! We will come back I wish!

A small hotel, no private beach, I didnt really like the city beach, the ebb for the whole day, the hotel does not have a pool, there are no closets in the rooms, our things were in a suitcase, there was nowhere to dry things, a lot of mosquitoes ..... On the plus side: excellent breakfasts, staff are very friendly. In general, there is nothing to do in the hotel, rather it resembles an apartment, which is located in a residential quarter of wealthy Zanzibaris, not far from the five Madinat al Bahr, through this five we went to the beach when the tides are high. But this beach is also closed at 19:00 and everyone is kicked out. I would not recommend this hotel! No beach, no pool, nothing.

The setting and the unbeatable breakfast. The bathroom could be improved, but the attention and kindness of the staff makes this a minor detail.

Very cozy stay but above all by one of its workers called Ali, he is a charming and attentive person.
