Excellent views, fine sands, beautiful place to stay, walk, sit, splash....

A very beautiful beach with fine sand and tall palm trees.Perfect if youre down to buy tourist souvenirs at rip-off prices. You can literally walk 2 minutes at once before the beach boys, men and kids come to push their unlicensed cheap tours and handmade souvenir items and seashells (which are btw illegal to export), or to simply beg for money. Theyre very persistent, wont go away even when you say youre not interested and the next day they will come back to repeat their sales pitches. I witnessed a woman sunbathing and reading at the beach while some kids/teenagers went to bully her for ~5 minutes and eventually poked her with a stick and ran away.The water is super warm but beware of the sea urchins. Theres a lot of them and you might hurt your foot.The beach is very good for running (especially bare feet) but as soon as you slow down, prepare to face the beachie boys who gather around you like hungry mosquitoes. Ive travelled a lot and have never seen such intrusive behaviour.

Beautiful beach. Many prices are quoted in dollars for tourists, which is annoying for a non-US as you need to use 2 different foreign currencies at the same time. They do accept tsh as well, but someone will lose in every currency change, and you can just guess who it will be.Tides are strong, the difference between high and low may be 4.5m.
