I spent 3 months in Villa Mina, it was the most wonderful 3 months of my life, the living conditions are wonderful, and the best sunrises in Jambiani! The owners are incredibly nice and helpful. I recommend it with all my heart!

Booked 1 week here and decided to stay 11 more nights. Beautiful quiet setting directly on the beach (no kitesurfers disturbing the view), shady tropical garden and bar during high season, comfortable rooms with private balcony and sea view at a fair price, daily housekeeping, free mineral water and WiFi, delicious breakfast and other meals, extremely hospitable, friendly and accommodating management (Rachel and Andrew, who run the beach house since June 2019) and staff (Alfayo and Shakila), who all do everything they can to make your stay pleasant. I have been visiting Jambiani on a regular basis since 1993, staying at 5 different beach houses up till now, and this is definitely one of the best in terms of value, at present. Absolutely commendable!

You could discover for yourself this wonderful place on Jambiani beach. Very friendly Stefan and Mina will personally meet you. There are several rooms including a sea viewer. If you are a big company you could occupy them all, or choose if you are alone. There is a big area to prepare food and spend time. The floor in the bathroom amazes and is one of the most beautiful things I have seen on this Island.

Villa Mina is a beautiful house located on Jambiani Beach. The house manager is extremely helpful and accommodating. During low season and our stay, the bar facility was not available. But the privacy and peace was outstanding.

Wow! What an amazing location and very comfortable bed and breakfast. Steps from the beautiful indian Ocean. Andrew took me deep sea fishing and we caught 3 Large Tuna. The chef Rachel made delicious sashimi and Tuna steaks. This place is a gem. Highly recommend. I will be back.

Stayed for 4 nights from 30.12.17 to 3.1.18. “Villa Mina” is nothing like the pictures posted on here. It is a large house, poorly laid out, badly decorated, lacking basic utilities one would find in similarly priced beach guest houses and still unfinished while charging the rates of beautiful, welcoming places stretching for kilometers on either side of it. The room we stayed in-ground floor end of corridor (a wash hand basin in the corridor?!) - had one switch to light both main room and bathroom, no bedside lamps or at least a switch to turn off lights from near the bed, a two pin plugged loud fan with no converter to plug into 3 pin socket, a tiny footstool for a bedside table, just 2 sockets in the room - there is ‘hope’ for further sockets in the room because the ‘holes’ for them are there, the door was splattered with paint, the door jambs were cemented and not even plastered or finished .....more unfinished business, no place where to put toiletries in the bathroom, a broken toilet flushing, no water on 3 occasions, bar? What bar-non existent, not enough outdoor seating to take all guests for breakfast so one would have to cut breakfast or dining short to allow next guests to be seated. The only positive side to Villa Mina are the staff-they are extremely helpful and lovely and it is evident that the owner invested in a property without the knowledge of what it means to run a tourist accommodation- it shows that staff do their best but at the end of the day it is not them who can make the place into what it claims to be. I am not one who stays in 5 star resorts - far from it, I stay in guest houses and preferably support local as much as possible. I have travelled far and wide but never have I come across such a mismatch of promoted place on internet and reality - had it not been that all other places in Jambiani were fully booked, I’d have legged it on the first night!

The accommodation is very nice and is located directly on the white sandy beach of Jambiani. The rooms are big and clean and the bathroom is also big and very clean. The garden of the complex can be used at any time and offers plenty of shady places. The staff is very helpful and asks every day what you want to eat. Drinks are also available at any time for a small additional charge. The accommodation is absolutely recommendable, especially at the price. We had a very nice stay.

A little paradise in the middle of Jabiani and by far the most beautiful part of this beach. The very cozy guest house offers space to relax and nice, clean rooms. The nice owners and the loving staff are very helpful and fulfill all possible wishes of the guest. Some typical influences such as Power failure and the resulting washing water interruptions are force majeure and then affect the whole place. But everything is compensated for by the beautiful ambience. The sea is subject to the tides and creates a different, varied course for the guest every day. For this, the sea rewards the guest every day with different and varied colors that are only known from different beaches. So this little paradise is always worth a stay.
