Stayed for one night. The room was okay, I slept really well. The bed was semi-comfortable, the bathroom was modern and clean, the pool and the territory were very nice. I liked the overall vibe and the fact that it is right on the beach. I loved the night walk alongside the beach!Didnt try out the restaurant, only had the breakfast there in the morning - it was okay.

Ifa is in a quiet location, with direct access to the beach, what makes it very nice and convenient. The pool is looking at the beach and has nice sun beds.Staff are really nice, but I felt they lack the sense of service, kind of training on hospitality to improve the service.Also, the hotel needs some maintenance and updating. Our bed was very uncomfortable, due to the fact the mattress is very old. The ceiling in the shower was painted recently and the paint was fallingbecause of a licking shower head.I must say, the reason why we booked this hotel is because we booked very late and was the only available, but the value for money is really low compared to other places that charge the same rate in the same location.Is important to note, in the hotel alcohol is not allowed due to the religious believes of the owner. So staff is allowed to sell beer by their own initiative, but this makes very uninviting to chill and have a drink in the pool or the restaurant.Also, we didn’t have any issue, and had a good time, but the hotel has a lot of room for improvement.

+The resort has plenty of outside area to chill+Located right next to the beach, but the beach itself is nothing specialTHAT’S IT for the good part-I believe we had a Standard room, which was small in size, and had a small window with metal bars on it.-All the furniture/amenities in the room were VERY OLD, and NEED a THOROUGH CLEANING-The bathroom had some sort of chemical smellNot worth the price. Have been in Zanzibar for a week, and stayed in different hotels/homestays, and by far this has been the worst for the price/value ratio.

The hotel has all the necessary amenities and have a great beach front location close to local attractions and restaurants. It also has a nice swimming pool. The hotel restaurant has well priced meals and serve large portions. No alcohol on premises due to Muslim ownership.

We were there as a group with a pre-reservation. All our rooms (even though they were big enough) had that bad smell for the bathroom and in a room the water from the air conditioning always spread inside (under the bed). The restaurant forgot to prepare us the buffet at first night, so we had to go to another place and there was always a misunderstanding between the reception and the cooker. The staff is not that friendly and polite.The location is fair, you definitely need transportation, the beach outside is not that good (Paje is much better) and the breakfast is decent. The food from the restaurant was just ok but expensive and the place was not clean (sorry guys, but its true - everybody mentioned that).Probably next time I choose another.

We were not able to visit this hotel, but I am writing this opinion because I had an adventure with the covid test 24 hours before departure for a dream and paid vacation privately to this hotel. The wifes test came out positive. And we could not fly, it was a considerable expense for our budget and most of the costs paid were recovered, but not from hotels in Zanzibar, on the booking hotline, I heard that in 95% of cases, hotels refund unused reservations to customers even 100%, and that they they show understanding for such cases beyond our control. But when you found out from the hotline that it was about Zanzibar, he immediately told me not to expect a return, because the white man there is treated like a walking ATM. These people lack empathy for the white man. And this hotel didnt even bother to reply to my e-mails.so I caution others against paying for the stay before coming

1. The location is right at the beach...waking up daily to a dream beach comes true...2. The staff is very helpful especially Mr Haji who went out of the way to make us comfortable.3. The ambience of the resot I beautiful moreover the swimming pool is open 24 hrs.and is next to beach.4. They have lots of greenery u will have the feel of actual village stay.

We had such a wonderful time at this hotel, right on the beach, excellent breakfast, large sea view rooms, and very friendly staffs

NOT recommended... Manager Shamsa is very rude. unclean pool & rooms. They will promise you everything when you ask, but once you PAY / check in then tadaaaa... Nobody will even bother to listen you. ONLY Money-minded people. Not at all customer oriented.

(Updated Review) Guys Beware of the scammers in Jambiaini...AND DONT BOOK ANY ROOMS HERE.They loot your money.The reservation manager lady shamsah jussa is very rude, nasty and annoying. The google reviews are manipulated and most of the reviews are from her friends and family. Have a look. Please check Airbnb review as well ( especially by wini - how the manager behaved with her.).I booked 1 room for 3 nights . I just wanted to cancel my booking and asked for refund. She denied to pay back and even though when I asked to stop cancellation so that I can stay there as I already paid entire amount to them she denied to hold the reservation also. And was just trying to refer the cancellation and booking policies.As the resorts phone number was unavailable I tried to reach her on her Insta account. there she mentioned about everything that she is manager at ifaresort , I was politely asking for the help but she was very rude. Despite calling multiple times she refused to answer and the guy from reception was telling shes on holiday. And finally she wrte rude message on booking com and she blocked my phone number and whatsapp number.So based on so called policies this kind of people will loot you. Beware while booking with such great fraudsters.Now she will flag my review as inappropriate (again) so that my review will not be visible to anyone.P.S: Oh! you replied finally. Now youre trying to apologise. I have screenshots how rudely youve spoken. Dont try to fake yourself. And no one is targeting you, its you and your service you are getting whatever youre serving. Its not about good or bad reviews its all about being genuine. Your Best services are well known to everyone. Anyways keep serving like this.

Other than view nothing is there to worth your penny.One of the WORST experienced hotel during my Zanzibar trip. I came here after reading their reviews. But DISAPPOINTED...!!! Badly disappointed. No higher authority will listen to your problems. ❌NOT AT ALL RECOMMENDED ❌

This resort really needs a renovation, you cannot charge such price per night for a worn out hotel.

Terrible experience. We checked in to Ifa and discovered filthy rooms with rotten pillows. As we were only staying one night and had already paid we decided to put up with it, however after spending a few hours at the beach we came back to find a broken pipe in the bathroom flooding the place. On informing reception, instead of offering us another room they kept us waiting while they tried to fix it, which they couldnt. Eventually they asked us to change rooms, however by this point we preferred a refund and find somewhere else to stay, even though it was 11pm at night. The manager, Mrs Shamsa, was extrememly rude, told us to deal with booking.com if we wanted a refund and hung up on us. We left to stay somewhere else despite no refund. The next day Mrs Shamsa informed booking.com we were a no show, so we are unable to write a review there, in spite of me having the receipt of check in / payment. We went close by to somewhere clean and comfortable and friendly for the same price.

Horrible. Rooms smell toxic and they didnt want us to change our room.We were very disapointed of everything..I was a very bad expérience.

The place is nice, beautiful beach, a lot of trees, the room is nice for the price, they just need a little more maintenance, especially for the sunbeds. Would be nice if they provided a way to refill your own bottle (paid one) so that we reduce the plastic waste from buying water

My wife and I are visiting this hotel again after one year. And we saw alot of improvement, they have delicious food at their restaurant better than before. We spendend 5 nights and it was super good to wakeup in the morning for sunset. Ifa is our zanzibar home👍🏻

Weve booked a Deluxe room with a view and it was truly spectacular from the 1st floor. We could just relax on the huge balcony and enjoy the view and the fresh breeze. We loved it!The bed was huge and super comfortable and we could see the turquoise water from it - just perfect!The staff was nice and helpful, very attentive.Breakfast was the best from the 3 places we stayed at.

Such a charming hotel located directly on Zanzibars beautiful beaches. Their services are impeccable, their food was really good, they also have a swimming pool on an island with an amazing view. loved the room set all clean and nice. But the most satisfying thing was their customer service super quick and very helpful in the slightest inconvenience they would help out. highly recommend it :)

Generally, the experience in Ifa Beach Resort is pretty nice. Nice view, nice staff, nice swimming pool. And the cost performance value is extremely high!!! Highly recommended!But there are too many mosquitoes. So remember bring spray to avoid this kind of situation effecting your holiday. By the way, if the choice of breakfast can be richer will be awesome.

In general a nice place, but I would recommend a few renovation actions, like replacing the mats of the sunbeds. Also the breakfast guy is really arrogant and unfriendly sometimes. Otherwise I had a good time.

Food in the restaurant was great! Specially service from waiter Abdul. Really kind and positive person.Toilet in the room maybe they need to work on ventilation.Water in the pool wasnt so fresh but generally it was refreshing on warm days.

Located in beautiful beach on the Zaribar Island. The staffs are very helpful and enjoyed throughout my stay. The hotel provides you almost every high quality facilities included the rooms, food. Overall experience was awesome. Ill recommens this and you wont regret.

I was there in revolution day i really enjoyed with beach table serve with culture music Really nice and modern hotel! The staff was friendly, rooms quite big and clean with your bangalow i like themI can recommend the spa massage should improve aswell,the rest was a very good experience and professional staff,cute pool. The preparation of the meals took a bit long but not bad at all almost 30 minits we wes waiting. A budget hotel with all necessary facilities.A very nice hotel located few minutes walking from the ferry dock.Everything was perfect. Receptionist and staffs in general were very friendly. We have stayed at IFA BEACH times already and we will certainly come back.The rooms are spacious and very clean, the pool is stunning and the view is unforgettable. The staff is really great and willing to help with anything you might need, breakfast is fresh with lots of fruits choices, Wifi works well - I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Zanzibar. Cannot wait to be back in 2020

The resort is in jambiani. Beautiful setting along the Indian ocean. Spacious rooms , well maintained pool and great food. The owner is very helpful too. Will definitely come back again.

A beautiful clean spacious hotel with excellent gardens, well equipped, good beds, linen & mosquito nets. On the beach but fenced off from beach sellers. A quiet area. Good quiet air-conditioning, Helpful staff who will try their best to accommodate your needs. Good breakfast. We highly recommend. No alcohol sold but a fridge in the room and a trip to the shop takes care of that (BYOB!) PS - many plug sockets well placed, and hooks on walls for hanging. Its the little things 🤗

The hotel has a nice swimming pool. Its located directly at the sea.At breakfast you can get an omelette, sausage, bread, tea, coffee and fruit juice.The rooms are nice, there is s mosquito net, shampoo, shower gel and body lotion in the bathroom.

My stay at Ifa beach Resort was amazing . The location was just right , offering access to the beach and away from the noise of the city . The staff attended to my every need . And the rooms where just out of this world . I will definetly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to zanzibar.

Fantastic staff, fantastic location, fantastic rooms, we loved it! The view from the rooftop is so fantastic. The pool was so fun for my kids. All in all, it was just what we were hoping for (and even more).

We had the most fantastic time at the Ifa Beach resort! Our bungalowroom was very spacious and very clean, with Zanzibar beds with mosquito nets. We had a big terras with 2 daybeds and a hammock overlooking the beach, excellent for relaxing and watching the dhows sail by. The bungalow was situated just 10 m. from the beach! The staf and owners were very friendly and helpful. I hope to return to the Ifa Beach Resort next year! Thank you for the lovely holiday at your hotel!

Lovely hotel in zanzibar beach, friendly staff especial in restaurant cashier and restaurant/massage. Although I would reccomend going out for some much cheaper and amazing fresh seafood dinner. Pool side was my favourite part of the hotel. Infinity pool.
