This property was offered by several accommodation portals in December 2020. We made a reservation with them through one of those well known and reliable portals, but when we came to the property we were told it was closed since April due to a reconstruction. Im giving it one star because we got into serious troubles because of that and I believe it was their responsibility to inform the portals that they were closed.

GO THERE! Stayed a week here with the family. And we can only recommend this place to others. Simple but very fine. So nice staff, especially Kunda ( the kids LOVED HIM), that make you feel very welcome and Steve, the owner, is a nice guy good for a chat. We stayed in the family house and it was perfect with three kids. The breakfast is really good. They are flexible, so that we could eat earlier than 8 some of the days. The pool was nice for the kids, since the beach there is a little rocky. One day we walked to Paje which was a nice walk.

The location and the orientation of the bungalows are appropriate, the view from some of the apartments is to garden which is clean or to the sea which is amazing. Friendly staff, the owner Steve is a trusty good guy. The food is delicious, the chef is excellent. I can highly recommend this place.

Lovely little hotel, on the beach where you can relax on a lounger under the umbrella; it also has a clean swimming pool. Clean rooms, comfy beds and good fans! A great selection of delicious food and drinks. The owner and his wife, along with the staff, are very warm, friendly and have excellent customer care. I cant fault the place, and have stayed there three times!

Lovely, relaxing place, with gorgeous views, fab beach-side rooms with comfy beds, and a pool to chill out by for when the sea goes out. Lying in bed listening to the waves on the beach outside was idyllic. Steve, the owner, is a great host, friendly and knowledgable. Will definitely go back if we are in Zanzibar again. :)

Very beautiful place, very kindly and friendly staff (especially Kundael), delicious food, great view and the bungalows are very cleaned. The best paradisiac place in Zanzibar. I can highly recommend this place.

We stayed at Pakachi for 5 nights and loved it. You are right on a beautiful stretch of beach, and Pakachis swimming pool is great as you cannot always swim in the ocean (depending on the tide). Bungalows were spacious and clean (with different sheet art every day when your bed is made). The owner was very helpful despite extensive issues with the booking service (Jovago). The restaurant/bar corner is perfect for lazy breakfasts looking out over the ocean, with a much needed breeze cooling things down. The food was good, but on the expensive side (but so is most of the food on this island). The only bad experience was with a particular waiter who changed item prices on the spot when he made an adding error on our bill, and double charged us for a second (empty) cup for an existing pot of tea. These were probably isolated incidents. Would go back to Pakachi in an instant.

We were only in the restaurant and gift shop!The service is good with chilling atmosphere and beautiful location on the beach..Cheap prices and nice food!

Hello,We spent 10 days at the Pakachi family and had a great time. The hotel is ideally placed near the village of Jambiani in a small cove on a beautiful beach with very few tourists. The staff is very caring. The rooms and pool are very clean. The breakfast very rich. The quality to price ratio is excellent ! I recommend it to you .

This hotel will allow you to live in a picturesque setting with European comfort, to disconnect from everyday life (but the wifi is always within reach) The staff are really welcoming, available and helpful And Steve, the owner is very present for us advise and organize our visits if we ask (no forcing or overselling.The food, including breakfast, was tasty

Pleasant, beautiful, quiet place, polite staff. We got here quite by accident, when we drove around the island, as a result, admired the views, ate delicious, bathed in the pool)
