The breakfast is 2$ but modest, eggs, fruit, toast, juice and coffee. Rooms have good air con. Water pressure low. No pool. In Stone Town. Rooms clean, bathroom clean but smells a bit. Beds comfortable with mosquito nets, they do your laundry and its cheap. Can arrange tours and next to restaurants and cafe. Being own toothbrush and shampoo. They provide clean towel and basic soap. Hard toilet paper beware of you have piles. TV has no cable channels. Good fan.

Nice place, 10 minutes to the stone town center, comfortable beds, strong air conditioning and clean. Nice service and kind managers. They probably need to improve the bathrooms because looks old.

Very nice polite staff.Tasty breakfastGreat location close to major attractions.Hot waterDirty, all the furniture is dusty, the canopies too. Do not park by car. The place is only at night. There is a parking lot, but in fact not, I had to park on a paid one. Quite noisy in the evenings. The shutters creak constantly. You cant look out the windowExpensive for the money

A hotel as a stopover point for one night or to leave your belongings and continue your journey around the island light. Very, very modest, even after `` in India. There is no hot water, a double room is 8 meters, and if there is still a road under the windows .. Better for housing, look, for example, at Tembo, more expensive, but the location and service are much better and its worth it.

Stone Town View Inn. We were with my wife in December 2020 (1) How to find: The sign on the building hangs, but rather high, you need to raise your head higher. The building is white with dark brown balconies, which is different from the others. The entrance to the hotel is on the left from the narrow side street of Stone Town. (2) The people at the front desk are amazing (we have been to almost 50 countries, estimate including all trips). Fatma and Selenium girls solve all issues with a smile. They quickly described how to get to Paje on a budget via the city bus station in Mwana Kwerekwe, on Sunday they helped find a working ATM, even brought it to it, etc. (3) We lived on the 3rd floor in room 208, the room is large, the air conditioner worked normally, there is a bathroom with hot water, which flowed normally. The toilet also worked fine, there is such a feature that it is necessary to keep the descent longer (this was the case in other places). The room had a balcony facing the street, sometimes they went out, watched life. For some, street noise may be critical, but for us it is not - “It’a a beautiful noise ...” (4) Breakfast on the rooftop on the 4th floor, fruit mango papaya watermelon pineapple, juice, coffee, scrambled eggs, ok. (5) WiFi, as well as on the island as a whole, worked mediocre, with malfunctions (we lived in three places and still caught in several restaurants). (6) The location of the hotel is excellent. You dive straight into the narrow streets of Stone Town, many of which even a bike will not pass, the labyrinth looks like the Arab Medina, but thanks to its open friendly people, it is alive and humanly warm, it is pleasant to walk along it for hours. Plus - a lot of shade on a sunny day, a lot of great points for photos. For lunch and dinner, we went to the two-story Lukmaan restaurant, with a huge baobab growing right inside. It is very tasty there, the dishes are served in small portions at a price of 1 to 10 thousand shillings (i.e., from 30 to 300 rubles), you can take many different ones to try. We liked the coconut 2 thousand shillings, all the juices - they are thick, fresh, a large glass, from 3 to 5 thousand shillings, squid for 3, shrimps for 4, octopus in coconut sauce for 6, chapatis for 0.5, wonderful masala tea, in India, rarely where is ... the waitress Rosie is great soul, we will miss her. Close to the waterfront and boats on the Prison island to the turtles and endangered island. A huge market nearby, there is everything. (7) The hotel is safe, they do not steal, according to the girls, I believe them. There was a safe in the room. Its also safe to walk around Stone Town in daylight.
