Before Safari Lodge was closed due to Covid Pandemic, I have stayed there each year I visited Zanzibar. Probably I have stayed there for about 7 times.The staff are helpful and breakfast is very good and the location to visit different places by just walking is excellent. Value for money.

Terrible hotel, Terrible breakfast. Old and dirty everything.

Great staff, clean rooms and basic breakfast. What made the place for us was really the wonderful staff, we were stuck in a bit of a situation and needed a room for the night during a very busy time. They helped us get a room and were so kind through the whole process. Although the wifi was a bit temperamental, it worked well in the lobby!

Nice hotel near the beach, friendly staff

The hotel is located on a small street in the centre of Stone Town. Its a nice base to explore the city. Beach, market, restaurants and attractions (including Freddie Mercurys house of birth) are all within walking distance. We had breakfast on the roof terrace, with lovely views over the city.

Slightly damp room with bathroom dated and with little maintenance, in the bathtub / shower was a cockroach half dead. Friendly and helpful staff, sufficient breakfast

Hard bed, actually a board not to use a topper and air conditioning blanket Well, old glory, breakfast is very simple, no plates and cutlery. WiFi free and central location. Staff nice.

You will not get a taxi here. Rooms relatively clean, ake white sheets lost months ago.
