The best hotel i have visited so far. Breath taking experience, the food was exquisite, modern architectural design and the interior is just awesome. I loved every moment of it.

This hotel is very nice. They have good space for breath. Foods are really awesome.We did a conference with 150 people and buffet lunch. They helped a lot.I recommend this hotel if want a clam and beautiful invironment by the way thy have water world to do fun.

Love the hotel!Its my first visit and definitely not going to be the last. Amazing Hospitality.Hotel is guarded and you feel safe with security always present, checking vehicles coming in.Had breakfast and dinner and it was good. Seafood platter is a must-try in this hotel. It was said good for 2 but I guess, for me its good for 1!Rooms was spacious and clean. Linens you can smell the freshness and towels were clean too. And I guess all the room faces the sunset and its lovely!Be careful after 6pm. Mosquitos are roaming around the hotel. So keep your balcony or windows shut. And if youre walking to the restaurant, wear something covered.Overall, nice place to relax and chill. And its a dry hotel which means they dont serve alcohol. All is halal in the restaurant!

It is a wondwrful place with a good ocean view.It also have a wonderful water sport. It is a good place for a vacation as well as having a family diner

Beautiful green hotel with a water park, boat rides, fantastic dinners, perfect location for events, kids play corner, amazing sea front rooms with all the necessary needs of a guest including a weighing scale and clothes line in the bathroom not found in other hotels...and most of its non alcoholic...a perfect place for travellers enroute to perform Hajj...

Their services are wonderful.... The rooms are cozy with a good view , the conference rooms are amazing for having meetings and the play/swimming grounds have so many fun activities. Did I mention they have amazing cuisine? Coz they do

Great place for kids, including the littlest ones. No food or drink on offer, so plan accordingly. Lots of family fun, especially on a sweltering Zanzibar afternoon.

Really lovely resort, the rooms are GORGEOUS. Big bathrooms, his & hers basins, balcony with swing chair. Great for families with young children too, they have a water party and other fun things.The only bummer is that they are a DRY hotel, so they dont have any alcohol on premises... You need to try and organise it from someone else. Also, theres no real beach, so you need to leave the resort for that.Otherwise, lovely place

Very beautiful hotel it is. Staffs are friendly, helpful and welcoming. This hotel does not serve alcohol. People who dont like Alcohol can choose this Hotel to stay. Food is very delicious but the quantity is of 2 person. So order less and dont waste the food. Amazing Gym they have got. Last but not the least the hotel also arrange tours for Island hopping.

Amazing stay at Verde. Great service, very neat and tidy. One of the staff of the hotel Abbas was very helpful through out our stay. There was a lady in the reception area, I guess she was the manager, called Esta, she was extremely hospitable and extremely helpful from the time we checked in till we checked out. We were on B&B basis and we really enjoyed the yummy breakfast. The swimming pool and the surroundings were also very clean. In short we loved our stay at the hotel and really liked all the staff of the hotel.

The place itself is 5 stars. The overall service was below average. The women are not as nice as the men. Some even giving a bad attitude. I probably met 5 women that were nice. The men are way more friendlier and inviting. It does take forever to get food at the pool and room service but on the weekend when we experienced a man serving at the pool, the food came in 30 mins. The men are faster too haha. The resort itself is very quite. Can be nice, but its weird when it’s only you and the people you came with having breakfast and dinner. Also, we noticed that service for white people was much better than it was for us. Example: We were told we had to serve ourselves. The white people had people serving them. We were told breakfast was over at 10:30 and they continued to put the food away while we were trying to serve ourselves. White people showedup at 11am and all this food magically appeared and was being brought to them. This was on two separate occasions. We almost said something but we didn’t want to make it weird being that we were going to be there for 8 days. Treat everyone the same! I wasn’t there for free!

The staff in this resort are very friendly and polite. You can get a beautiful view from your room facing the pool... The sunset 🌇 is visible from our room balcony.. room is spacious and also has a Balcony with a swing chair.. They also offer some water sports such as kayaking.. overall the experience was good.

The hotel is at a great location, about 10 minutes drive from town so it has a quiet feel, but also within access to other activities in the area, and not too far from the airport.Due to it’s location however, there’s really no beach to go swim at. Though this is compensated by its huge, magnificent pool.

Nice hotel with really large, clean rooms (and bathrooms). Rooms are comfortable and relatively quiet, although you can generally hear people outside your door/crickets/birds on occasion. Staff are friendlyThere is a water park and marina/ferry port adjacent to the hotel, however, everything else requires a vehicle.Overall very nice.

I was here just with a day pass as I stopped in Zanzibar by ship for only a few hours. It was around a year ago and Im pretty sure it had recently opened. A very important detail. They did not serve any alcohol back then (not sure if different now), so you will need to bring it your own or get someone to go get it for you. Besides that relax and enjoy it to the MAX!! It is a gorgeous place!! It is a 15 min cab ride from the downtown area.

5 Star Hotel with 2 star service. Beautiful hotel and rooms are clean and comfortable, but unfortunately thats were it stop.Took us 45 minutes to book in, just to hear our rooms are not ready at 17h00.Reception have to step up.Restaurant service are......... actually no service.

Amazing place to share with your lovely one

Enjoyed my stay in this wonderful resort. Every single square feet is immaculately well thought, planned and displayed. On top of that, the staff are very assertive, attentive and always with a genuine smile on their faces. The offer from the menu is fine. I saw a massive swimming pool playing area for children and adults in which you find nautical sports and boat trips. You have to take in consideration that they dont sell alcohol inside the premises of the resort.

What sorcery is this! Kudos to Azam just wow it really doesn’t feel like you’re in Tz with Azam goods and services!

5 Star Hotel in Znz, it has a water part in it.

This review is about the restaurant.If youre looking for the worst service youve ever seen, overprized and low quality food than youre absolutely right !The restaurant was completely empty when we arrived ( 4 people ). We got handed out exactly one menue card because they told us they are out of menue cards.We ordered, it took them 30 minutes to bring our juices.After another 30 minutes the food arrived , 2 chicken mekange and 2 chicken burger. The burger were ok, the chicken makange tasteless, I got 3 pieces of bones with a little little little bit chicken on it. Maybe 10 percent meat and 90 percent bone.After we were done, we had to wait 25 minutes to get the table cleaned. We wanted to take the leftovers away. After another 20 minutes we asked where the leftovers are. They just threw it away and didnt even said sorry.The waiters were way too busy counting money instead of taking care of their guests.For card payments we had to to the reception, took another 10 minutes.Ive never seen such a bad service in my life, neither in Africa or anywhere elsewhere in the world.I wish I could give zero stars !!!All of that happened today, 02. of January 2021

Mesmerizing Resort with great ocean view from the room, hard working and pleasant staff. Its a dry hotel however serving fresh juices instead. Very clean and spacious rooms.

Excellent hotel in Zanzibar! Although not situated by the beach, has a nice pool and a water sports area for kids (and not only). A marina is situated right in front of the hotel where you can arrange for boat trips to prison island from the hotel. I found the personell extremely friendly! The breakfast was not too rich but enjoyed it a lot, with few local dishes and local fruits!You can arrange with the hotel to buy local fruits and vegetables from a close by flee market and the driver will come with you and assist you to negotiate prices. Hotel is environmentally friendly (same hotel as in cape town ) which is so great. (Therefore, if you plan to have a coffee for take away they will not provide you with paper cups). Gym is quite good with new machines and spa is under renovation at the moment. Rooms and bathrooms are very big, half with sea view.

This is a Dry Hotel. (No alcohol served)Have only visited guests here and have not stayed here personally so cant say anything about the accommodation.The interior is really luxurious and grand but wasnt impressed.As a visitor, you have to park your car quite a distance from the main entrance. They have golf carts but they are parked at the main entrance... So defeats the purpose of having them.Both times that I visited, I had to wait forever for a staff to come assists us with a menu. The food is not impressive.The hotel claims to be the greenest hotel in Zanzibar but I seriously doubt that it is. The water park built here would have caused some serious environmental degradation.

The hotels rooms and facilities are amazing. Service is quite slow waiters take vary long to take your order and then another great time to bring a simple non alcoholic drink as this is a dry hotel and they sell no alcohol. It is quite close to stone town so we went to town everyday for food and a good time. Everyone was very friendly and the pool area is also nice.

Friendly reception. Rooms ok and clean. No beach. There is a pool. Slightly pricey. No bar and alcohol. Taxi is provided though if you want to buy alcohol and drink it in your room.

Was just at the hotel and didnot like the discrimination from the restaurant on guests from outside. Sat for 15 minutes waiting for a menu, 30 more waiting for someone to come and take orders. Not the quality I was expecting from a so rated 5 star hotel.

Outstanding hotel with fantastic view inside and outside. Everything looks neat and clean. Rooms are so comfortable. At balconies you can rest yourself on hanging chairs and immerse your soul to the astonishing view on the seaside. Bathrobes, Sewing Kits, Iron and Board, Hangers and enough hangers are provided. The outside pool is clean, with so much space for family or other groups, as well as individuals. Outside environment is furnished with plenty of flower species, grass, green and walking areas. Breakfast is very detailed and delicious. All employees are very, very polite and friendly oriented, from the beautiful receptionists, to the smiled maintenance guys and all waiters - everyone wish you welcomed stay and theyre there for you. Additionally, visits to the Prison Island is offered by the hotel for affordable price for such a wonderful visit to that Island, and biggest & oldest turtles which are living there. Also for adventurist there is water sports such as Kajak, provided by the hotel. All in all, this hotel is very worth to stay in. Highly recommended.

A resort like it should be. Good location, great view, excellent amenities, a variety of food on the menu, and a personalized service. The environment is slow & relaxing but clean. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and long to return to it soon. Enjoyed Zanzibar with class.

Amazing and luxury best in zanzibar

The hotels rooms and facilities are pretty good. BUT they do not have any service standard, waiters take ages to come and the food is extremely below the standard of a 5 star hotel. If you want a 5 star experience choose another hotel, but this is the best hotel that is relatively close to stone town.

They have a Huge premises with alot to do.. a great sea view lounge away from the rooms with buffet or order food..Swimming pool is great to relax and blow away the steam..You can never miss the sea view room in this hotel as how its built is most rooms face the ocean..Its 10 mins drive from the ferry port .And soon they are going to open a water park inside the hotel..

One of the best hotel experiences of my life. It is certainly in a league if its own in many ways. It is a place you will want to come back to again and again. Hard to fault for anything - except the very loud absence of anything alcoholic on the menu.

Very nice hotel, but that swimming pool is a death trap. I did tell the management to get rid of the wall in front of the lounger (which is inside the main pool) as you can hardly see it when you are inside the pool. For safety reasons, they should take this very serious. I believe the management were aware of that incident which happened in ApriI 2018

Very beautiful hotel,located near the city (stone town).The hotel has an amaizing service,the food is out of this world,i mean very nice food,having all kind of tastes,swahili food was super delicious especially kisamvu.Specious rooms, and you get a ride from reception to the rooms..this is also good.I will definately recommend and go again and again to experience other services that i missed.
