Really nice, clean and new budget hotel. The rooms were excellent for the price ($35). Very clean comfortable beds with mosquito nets. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were excellent and very helpful.

I stayed at the Shoki Shoki in Feb22 and I cannot recommend it more! I traveled alone and the staff was very attentive, making sure I felt safe and good (what meant a world to me!). On top of that they were just lovely! The breakfast was good- you can choose English, vegetarian or sweet (the two last were my favorite). I was surprised with the internet, as it was the fastest and most stable I had on the entire island! The place was clean and well-maintained, with great location. 6/5PS. Once youll be coming to Zanzibar itself, I think it would be really nice to bring some necessities (eg. a box of a baby formula), as after the pandemic it is visible that peoples income got much lower due to the lack of tourism.

Great value. Delicious breakfast, clean rooms with AC and helpful staff. Didnt mind shared bathroom at all as theres plenty of them and they are kept VERY clean.Apart from Shoki shoki, we also stayed in Balcony house in Stone town and I can say Shoki Shoki is much much better choice.

Wonderful budget hotel in the center of stonetown. Cute, clean and friendly staff. Breakfast was healthy and they have a vegan/vegetarian option.

Perfect stop for a few nights to explore stone town. We stayed for four nights. The place is still really new and well taken care of. Breakfast was really good as well. Really nothing to complain. Well the internet connection is a rollercoaster ride but that‘s standard in any accommodation on the island.

Stayed here on a whim for four nights. Scored a great deal on Booking.com and paid near nothing for high quality rooms and services. Great breakfast, but not for people in a hurry. Nice management and new renovations. Would stay again. Went on two of the excursions they offered and the planning was simple and prices were extremely affordable compared to tours on Trip Advisor and otherwise online. Was traveling with another female and we felt comfortable and safe. Only concern is phone signal was not available at times but that can be typical in the area

Ok worth to spend extra 10$ and move from Karibu Inn and Zlife seriously so well done! Finally someone catered the breakfast to their key customers!! European quality in the Tanzanian world. I recommend this hotel, friendly service, great location, peace and quiet. They organize great trips around Zanzibar and Tanzania. I will definitely come back here.

Shoki Shoki is pretty good place, price is lower especially when you look for a cheap and nice place, its in the middle of stone town 3 minutes to Forodhan park.

Purely. The bathroom is shared, but clean. In the city center, 5 minutes to the beach and promenade, 10-15 market. Food ... ok, no frills, fried eggs and Spanish omelet. Breakfasts are English, Viennese and sweet. In general, spend the night and have a snack rorm.

We had an incredible experience at Shoki Shoki with a perfect value for money. On the one hand, the cleanliness and quality of the spaces: we had a private room with shared bathrooms that were spotless and always available. Breakfast varied and perfect size and quality. On the other hand, the staff are very friendly as well as very willing to help. I would stay again without a doubt.
