We stayed there 6 days and had a wonderful time! The island is a true paradise! The bungalows are just a few metres from the ocean, incredible feeling of waking up to these views. The staff is very polite, they care about the customer. Food was great, fresh fish every day, fresh fruits, everything so tasty. There is a big swimming pool and sunbeds with comfortable mattresses. We recommend it so much, cant wait to be back there.

We had an amazing 2 nights at Chapwani! The staff were super kind, the food was amazing. We snorkeled and kayaked and collected seashells all day. The rooms are airy and clean. I dream of the day I can return to Chapwani!

Best resort of our whole trip and on both sides of the island. This place is absolutely stunning, remarkably private, and the food is delicious. Wind comes hard from the east, but the westward side of the island is still, depending on how you like your weather. Swimming is great - very easy and calm on the west, more choppy on the east (never quite made it out to the snorkel reef due to childrens fear of moon jellies, of which we happened to have many - but they are not dangerous, it would have been ok). Best shell collecting beach I have ever seen. Villas are very pretty and clean, with foot baths to keep sand outside. Each one has a subset view over a long, calm part of the bay. The salt water pool is wonderful and leaves you without that chemical feeling. Staff are very helpful and make sure that you are accommodated (including dinners on the beach) - also the only place in the country where we saw consistent mask use. The wildlife is great too - jellies and sea stars, a huge variety of hermit crabs, and even tiny deer at night. Two nights was not enough - but even despite how small the island was, we had no desire to head back to town for anything.100% staying again if we ever get the chance.

Peaceful paradise getaway - with world class smoking 15 minutes boat ride away at Prison Island. Good food good service. And best of all no electricity from midnight to 6 am - you sleep like a baby.

Such a lovely island, the jungle, the hermit crabs, the beach, the fruit bats- the tranquil environment is amazing. Only negative thing is that its so hot and they switch off the power over night so you really cant sleep

If you are looking for a heavenly place on earth, you have to go there at least once in your life.During our honeymoon we were able to stay there for 3 days and we were the only guests. We were entitled to meals on the beach in front of our bungalow every evening. Table laid and candlelit dinner facing the ocean.Idyllic

Small island paradise, with a magnificent beach at high tide facing the bungalows.The atmosphere is very polite and it clearly lacks organization.Bad value for money, we have stayed in hotels in Zanzibar offering much higher services and at lower cost.In Chapwani we pay for the fact that the island is private.

If you are looking for a quiet, zen, perfect place, this is the hotel for you. A little corner of paradise ! The servers are perfectly kind. The meals are very good. The place is extraordinary and the outings offered are magical. We will return !

To all those looking for calm, zenitude, nature, I suggest this magical place to you.Christaline waters, crazy sunset, you will not regret this getaway.About ten accommodations scattered across the island.Fairly spaced from each other and a feeling of being alone! Bungalows, a small villa and two large safari style tents very clean and chic.All the homes are by the water.Seawater swimming pool. The welcome is great, the staff attentive. The restaurant is more than adequate as well. We see Stonetown from afar and this contrast between the two which we liked too. A great discovery, we will be back for sure!I recommend 200%.

The experience was perfect. Small corner of paradise, calm, in harmony with nature. A parenthesis out of time.

Paradise Island . Everything is perfect except for the lack of air conditioning in the hot season and the impossibility of sleeping at night as the temperature rises. No fan at night because the generator stops.
