Lovely experience. Basically walking through the plantation and discovering all the spices and fruit grown there. Entertainment and fruit tasting was a bonus but price of spice was hugely inflated. Also it was extremely hot with huge ants and bugs. Definitely recommend wearing closed shoes.

The hotel was a perfect getaway on the beach. The room sizes are large. The place was always clean and linen was changed daily. Variety of food and house keeping was fantastic. The staff went over and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable and provided whatever we needed. We are so pleased and grateful to have spent our time at this hotel.

The beach is very nice. But the seafood overcooked, AC did not work at the rooms, water were turn off twise a day and no cleaning i 4 days. Only on demand I guess.

A very small but cosy hotel.- Bed was quite hard. No swimming pool. (the tide in the ocean is very long, almost every day)+ But the staff was friendly and it was possible to get simple food any time (dont recommend shrimp, crab and beef). For their standards it was quite clean.

Many places are not in use at silver sand Hotel but its beach is good.You may be not secured if you go out of boundaries.

I had a good time in Silver Sand. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast a blast. Rooms are decent and affordable.Good to crash here, when other popular accommodations around are booked out.

The hotel is right on the beach. With pristine white sand, lots of greenery. If you are looking for a quite time on the beach this is the place to be. The staff are friendly and always smiling and helpful. It only has 10rooms which means the guest get first hand attention from staff. They are also flexible with menu and try to cater for guests palate. The lounge area facing sea has comfy chairs for those who dont want to be in the sun giving perfect view of the beach. Also there are more comfy sitting/lounge area near the rooms. There is a TV lounge with big sofas. There is a dining area on the top where you can also see the beach while eating. The seafood platter is to go for and worth the money.Variety of seafood dishes on the menu. They organise romantic dinners on the beach. Each room has amenities like soap, shampoo, mosquito repellent. There are few activities that can be done like parasailing, kite surfing, village tour, snorkeling, fishing. There is a small supermarket on the main road where you can buy stuff. On Fridays there is a party at Waikiki for party goers.

Hotel that is not worth the 5 stars it displays. 4 stars, no more. Huge pools, friendly staff, spacious and clean rooms. Shower and shampoos have a very unpleasant smell, such as moisson lemon.At the restaurant, the dishes are varied, the buffets well presented, but nothing amazing.There is a possibility of doing canoe on the sea or water aerobics in the pool, as well as Beach Volleyball.Animations for children are also possible.We did it 12 days and are content, although in the end it was a bit expensive for what it was.

The room has mold on the walls, the bed and linens smell damp. Shower and toilet are combined, without partitions and curtains. There is no hairdryer and hygiene items. On the first day of arrival there was only a small piece of soap. This is not 4 *, but a maximum of 2 *. Many of the photos that we looked at according to reviews belong to another hotel (as most likely the reviews themselves), which is located nearby and is not working now. Other hotel guests, just like us, are not happy with the fact that they paid for a 4-star hotel, but arrived in 2 *. The staff are slow but very friendly.

Overall a good hotel for little money. The format is closer to the guest house but with good cleaning. It is better to buy tours with meals, at least with breakfast it will be cheaper. In the restaurant, the check is an average of 10-12 dollars per person, and nowhere to eat next

The place is cozy. There are technical problems - with light or hot water. At the same time, great staff and simply breathtaking chef. The island does not always cook deliciously. But this master is beyond praise.

Overall I recommend! A place for a calm and romantic vacation, near the ocean, beautiful hotel grounds, not all hotels can boast of this, even more expensive ones. The rooms are shabby, in some places they require repair, and there are questions about the availability of hot water in the shower, but I liked the rest in this place the most on the island. The rooms have air conditioning, kettle and tea, coffee, refrigerator.The staff are friendly and smiling, the breakfast is monotonous, the only hotel where normal fresh juice was served.Ordered seafood a couple of times, a small portion of 4 pieces of squid in total. Unfortunately, I lost my phone there.If I find myself in Zanzibar again, I will visit this hotel and advise you.

Pros: the best beach we saw in zanzi, service, hot water in the ocean, peace, quiet, intimate, close to massage, nice sunbeds and umbrellas, cheap roomDisadvantages: lack of water and electricity, air conditioning and fridge does not work, internet not stable, so-called room, bathroom with mold and falling board, food without crazy (generally zanzibar people cant cook) despite great products. quite tides, no snorkeling near the hotel.

The hotel, room, service and food at a normal level, this is a 2 star hotel, so you should not expect much, lovers of luxury will not do. Very authentic.

Really handled BAD! WIFI was almost non-existent! many times there was no water for the shower and even clean towels ... the air conditioners in the rooms do not work continuously ... then we discovered almost at the end of the holiday that the auxiliary generator was not started; in fact it was necessary every night (on our return from the trips) to complain several times to have the generator set on! to have a hot shower and a refreshed room .. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
