An amazing gem. The rooms are super clean and nice, there is a swimming pool lightened up during the night which is just amazing to use, set in a wonderful green environment. The beach is 20 meters away. The breakfast is very good. This is just amazing quality for the money. And on top of that, the money goes to the village school directly.

Best home away from home ever! We had a wonderful stay at Tamani Villas. The villas are clean and spacious and the garden is great. But what really makes the difference is the staff. Their hospitality is unique! We are truly looking forward to coming back!

Great accommodation in Matemwe! Especially we enjoyed the pool atmosphere in the evenings, they put nice lights and candles. The rooms are clean, ac and water worked fine. Also good breakfast!

Customer service was excellent, if you want to spend time away from the city noise this is the ideal place. It is almost 2 hours ride from the port. Its is located at Matemwe. Relaxing and kid friendly.

Tamani villas is an amazing place...You have ur own villa with a swimming pool and direct access to the beach....villa was clean and well kept..food was amazing apart frm a few times when we didnt get what we expected but the host and manager helped us and made everything perfect...One of our best best holidays everThank you Tamani villas

We absolutely loved our stay here. This is a nice area (not a party area) and you can’t really swim in the sea but the beach is beautiful and it’s a really nice place to just relax and rewind :)

Ive been to 5* resorts and luxury hotels where the staff put in less care and pay less attention than at Tamani Villas. Great experience overall: warm pool thats in the shade in the evening, great fresh breakfast that had an omlett/pancake station and amazing location with a gate straight to the beach. Dont miss this jewel!!!

Nice and calm place 8 rooms 2 villas, not crowded place. All you need inside good view to the ocean. Good food recommend for 2 or 3 nights if you want to relax and forget your work.

Nice place! Very tasty dinner (especially fish barbecue). Friendly and very helpful host! Great services, we’ve tried kayak, moto, snorkeling and everything was good! The only thing that I recommend is to provide water refill service to polite less the environment with numerous plastic bottles.

One of the best beach lodging we’ve stayed at, and we’ve been to beaches around the world. Clean, comfortable, right on the beach. Food menu is limited and food is just ok, but the nicest chef! There are spots next door to eat and have a drink (no alcohol at Tamani). Best of all, the villas business funds a school the owners started.

Friendly, homely & quiet place. Clean spacious rooms with all toiletries & towels. They even provide towels to use around the pool area.Free complementary hot drinks available from the manager.Theres no name of the villa at the front gate or back entrance so a bit difficult to find, but once inside its paradise.

Amazing place. Staff is good and the rooms are specious with affordable rates. Also have a great swimming pool and they serve pool towels so no need to worry.Few things are complimentary and we are allowed to take drinks from fridge as they trust their customers or visitors. Alcohol is strictly not allowed. They also serve coconut water at your door on a request (charges are applied)For food you need to tell them in advance as they cook fresh food only.Back side of the hotel there is beach which makes you feel like its private beach.At night you can lie down under sky and enjoy the moment.

This place was very chill quiet and the perfect place for a weekend getaway. Clean big rooms, cozy beds and hot showers. Alcoholic drinks arent allowed here and that wasnt a problem for me since I dont drink.

Excellent staff moral, the profits from this villa is circulated back in to the local economy to fund local education.Facing the beach you are within a stone throw away from touching the Indian Ocean. Definitely come again. Thank you for your hospitality.

Amazing place, really loved it! Great food, lovely villas and the sea view is incredible... Each villa has their own swimming pool and four bedrooms with bathrooms. How great is that?? :) But they are both non-alcoholic sites, so make sure you know that before you book.

Excellent relaxing holiday. Beach is quiet and very good for families or anyone looking for a quiet relaxing holiday. They support a school next door - be sure to visit the school.

Hotel is really nice and right on the beach. Place is really calm and the sea is clean. Hotel is made of seperate villas. Room is just okay and cleaned every day (bathroom with bidet shower included), you have a personal vault there or you can use one at the reception, bed is comfy with mosquito net. You have universal electric sockets in your room so you won´t probably need to take some redution. WiFi connection for Facebook addicts is everywhere in the hotel and worked quite well. Breakfast was tasty (eggs, pancaces, bread, sweet bakery...) and full of local fresh fruits. You can make you a tea or coffee for free in hotel common space, you can buy some water of drinks like coke, young coconut, variations of shakes or Tangawizi (definitelly should taste that!) or some snacks. You are not able to buy any alcohol here but it´s okay because all the profit from the hotel goes directly to local school (it´s great to support local education by spending nice time here). Everyone including the manager and the chef was kind and helpful. Manager Sveta was the nicest person and she helped us with everything we needed.

Best place to go with family and is very ideal for detachment from the world and convert with nature. Very rude staff !!! Came at 10 am, like a check out. They started knocking on all doors, yelling at us! Like, leave urgently, 5 minutes have passed, and you have not left yet! They just came and yelled at us! How such is permissible to the attitude of guests is not clear to me. Well at least they didnt shoot us all !!!

Spotless rooms, impeccable service, breakfast is a bit sparse, it is located on the sea, a very long beach, the sea is heavily tidal, you can swim only from 4pm onwards, and the seabed is full of sea urchins.

The location is right on the beach which is absolutely fantastic. Toilet and shower by the pool. Breakfast and dinner were included in the price which was definitely an affordable accommodation. The breakfast was at least the dinner the better.Our room was clean and very fresh. Wifi worked everywhere.Sun loungers cost nothing.Super nice people.In addition, our visit here does charity to the Tamani school.Alcohol is not allowed here but there are plenty of restaurants and small bungalows on the beach that serve most.

Well put ! The owner is very very accommodating so its a 5 star for me. Nevertheless there were red anemas in our bed upon our arrival.
