My fiance and I really enjoyed staying here for 8 days. The hotel is wonderful, beautiful garden, great private bungalows. Every day room service was preparing our bed with new gorgeous decoration and flowers. :)Breakfast was wonderful, dinner very delicious. There are only some little things to improve, maybe it is possible to look more closely with the towels in the room. Very often in our stay, the room service took our used towels and didnt replace them with new ones. The other think is the cleanliness of the pools. The service personal clean them every day, but still a lot of insects remaining after that. That are only little things, nothing serious.Overall it is a perfect hotel to stay in. And it was a wonderful holiday experience.Thank you
Me and my boyfriend spent 8 nights in this hotel. We chose to stay at Sevi mostly because of positive reviews in the internet. Unfortunately the beach at this hotel is full of seaweed so you cannot really enjoy the water. I never saw any of the guests using the beach chairs because the beach is just not nice compared to north of Zanzibar.Unfortunately, in reality the hotel looks much worse. The paint in the pool is coming off and dirty your body. For the first time in my life I had blue feet after swimming in the pool. Bathrooms are neglected, would need a renovation.Breakfast and dinner was good. Staff in the restaurant is nice and give their best to make your stay as good as possible.Much, much overpriced for this quality.
5 stars, plus some! We had such an amazing stay here. The rooms, view, food were incredible but the staff really made our trip. Everyone here is so friendly and welcoming. We decided to splurge on a bottle of wine for dinner to celebrate our anniversary the next day (since we were leaving paradise on our actual anniversary), well the next morning we were greeted with the most beautifully decorated table AND a cake! We couldnt believe it! We were blown away with their kindness and detail to making our anniversary a special day. Will definitely be the anniversary to remember.
I couldnt be happier with our stay here. Its a fantastic place to come and relax. The restaurant runs perfectly due to an amazing staff lead by a young lady from Austria. This resort also offers great snorkeling for beginners and the nearby reef offers crystal clear water and is a photographers dream!
Very friendly staff, especially Eddy. Unfortunately wifi was never properly working in two weeks, not good if you need to work. The food was quite expensive and without much variety, the place is nice to sit outside and enjoy the terrace. The room is also nice, you have to deal with a lot of insects, cockroaches, flies and Moskitos. I liked the little pool that belongs to each room. There is a second floor for working but it’s too dark.
Amazing stay at this hotel ! My boyfriend and I stayed for 4 days and 3 nights, and it was a real pleasure! The staff is extremely nice (the local people from the staff, nicest people ever!), the food is reaaaaally good, the hotel is big, the beach is beautiful, massages are amazingggg, and the bungalows are also amazing! More than we expected.I honestly have a very hard time understanding the negative comments 😅….Anyways thank you very much Sevi Boutique Hotel, it was a pleasure to stay at your place and we would be very glad to come back !!
I stayed 6 nights at SeVi Boutique with my parents, loved everything about it!- Ocean View Bungalow is not in the first line from the sea, but had outstanding view, partially over pool partially over sea which provides you a good level of privacy. Room decor is beautiful, Room service is done twice a day. Water in terrace pool is changed daily. Rooms are very clean-Extremely friendly staff is a highlight of this place! Our big thanks to lovely Belinda for her effort to organize passion fruit jam for us! My 3 year old nephew back in Poland loved it! All staff members, cleaners and gardeners always smiling and willing to help.- Restaurant, has beautiful location with ocean view. Breakfast is beautiful served and diner menu changes daily. Food is tasty and has good quality. We wanted to to say big Thank you to Hossain, Mary, Juda, Rashid and Khamis for taking a good care of us, for their great service , hard work and for always being so pleasant and happy.- Sevi is a unique place to stay to enjoy beautiful Zanzibar and to experience Swahili hospitality. Recommend it to all!
Located at a beautiful spot on the beach. Their staff is very friendly and welcoming. They care care of every little detail to make you feel in paradise instantly, thank you for hosting us!! It was amazing :)
Worst hotel stay ever - dirty sheets & towels, dysfunctional room equipment, incredible loud noise during the night from the neighbourhood, tons of mosquitos in the room as well as salamanders, one night even a cat entered the room through a gap in the roof. Cats fighting under the table when you have your dinner and staff trying to chasse them away. Complaints were not taken seriously but the blame put on us. They even said, its a boutique hotel not a luxury hotel. Well, for the incredibly expensive price, one could expect differently. Never received a reply from the GM to my complaint e-mail addressed at him nor on my follow-up e-mail. Check the pictures added to get an impression yourself.
The reason for this poor rating is because of the treatment of the Hotels management. We had a reservation for 3 night which we paid for in advance but unfortunately due to the recent emergence of Omicron virus and travel restrictions in the country we reside in we had to cancel our trip. We spoke with the Hotels management and we completely understood that a refund was not possible due to their policies for the room which we reserved but we simply asked of them to postpone our reservation to March 2022 atleast till things globally hopefully settle down. After many phone calls and speaking to numerous mangers they actually agreed and have whatsapp messages from one of their managers agreeing to postpone our reservation dates. But what they didnt commit to that and refused to communicate with booking.com to allow us to rebook using the same reservation we had , we even agreed to pay whatever difference their may have been thats associated with the time of our new reservation. So in summary, they took our money, gave us a promise that they will postpone our reservation which they did not and to add insult to injury when we called back demanding to speak to the manager who gave us her word that they will support us and issues a new reservation they gave us the run and around and even claimed that the manger is no longer employed there. So if you are thinking of staying at this hotel, which in all fairness looks nice ,think again cause their customer service is horrible and taking peoples money and straight up lieing to customers is a horrible experience and hopefully the read this review and try and make amends for this gruesome mistake of theirs.
Great place. Wonderful people. Great Food. Manager and all the staff are very helpful. Hotel is placed at the beach. I highly recommend front row bungalows - they are placed 3 meters from the beach, they have great view, and there is everything you might need. There are wonderful 3 pools and spa area. Thank you for everything - best honeymoon ever.
Heaven on earth! The hotel is greatly located directly on an immaculate huge, white sandy beach. Even if you stay in the back of the hotel you will need 10 seconds to get to the beach. Excellent restaurant. George has made an terrific work setting up a great team in the hotel. Highly recommended!
Unbelievable experience, friendly and more than hospitable staff. Ashraf helped us and made us feel special from the moment we walked into SeVi. Strong recommend!
Very beautiful property and villas. Well maintained and thoughtful touches. My only criticisms would be the food could be slightly better for the price we pay, and I really struggled to sleep all three nights there due to the noise from the village behind the hotel. I wouldn’t mind if it was a cheap hotel, but it really isn’t, and I had hoped for some peace and quiet on my holiday. Villas 1-4 are not ideal at all as they are right against the wall/street behind. I was very disappointed as the villa itself was lovely, and all I wanted was to get some R&R.Thanks to the staff who worked hard and were friendly.
Best experience ever started with Mr George who was very helpful and flexible with us to change our booking dates , to Mr Achraf who was very kind and did his best to make us very satisfied, not to mention the staff how they are very kind, helpful generous and has strong customer service behavior. The hotel is very clean , the rooms are very big and has too many amenities like the personal pool and amazing views. Food is amazing, prices are very affordable .All this took us behind behind our expectations 🥰I strongly recommend it ❤️
Very friendly stuffThe breakfast is good.Everything is good, but should be in a bit better condition for this price level. The dinner is good but to expensive in comparison to other other restaurants around. My proposal would be decrease the overall price level a bit or increase the overall quality then it would be 5 stars. Thanks to Georg and the sevi team which was always helpful and friendly.Make the snorkeling trip it is worth each penny. Best trip ever done
Sevi saves ones vacation! Our history: We got stranded and cheated in an hotel, which did not offer the type of quality and service, we paid for. We are not the type of tourist, who argue and complain, we tried to got through. But: After 9 days we decided to change the place. Due to some guests with same experience, we got to know about Sevi. We first dined there, totally overwhelmed by quality, service, look and feel. It took us 30 sec to decide taking our luggage and move to this better place. Weve been welcomed heartly, and from the first minute to the end we felt lucky. Housing, cleanliness, service, people, location... was done by heart, little tiny things made the difference: everyday changing table arrangement like colors, flowers, fresh and clean dishes, perfect coffee, good trained service staff, and these handsome and professional people from Austria: Juliana and Daniel, Mr. Ashraf from Egypt, Sharida and Khamis from Sansibar, last but not least: Dainess from Kilimandscharo area! And all the unnamed good people in the background... You can change hotel, but people make it special. Thanks to all of them, to everybody.. you made our trip to Sansibar special within 6 days, you saved our vacation, we urgently needed. At the total end thanks to George, who is managing this. Tansanian hospitality, powered by Austria! ->thanks to you all.
We are short of words for the memories we got to creat at Sevi Boutique. From the warm welcome by the friendly staff to the cuisine and not to forget the manger who we always by our side comforting us with our stay. The rooms, the facilities, are all top-notch.Big thanks to Mr.Ashraf for setting up a memorable weekend getaway away which was a surprise for my Fiancée.Must say Perfectly organized. Our stay was peaceful & Relaxing and we recommend Sevi Boutique.
WOW! This resort was magical. The views, the flowers, the ocean... JUST WOW!Its small compared to big tourist resorts, but that is what we loved most about it. Because it only has a handful of villas, you get all the personal attention you want, or none if thats what you want. The staff is truly aware of whom is staying at the hotel and their needs. So if you want some romantic alone time, or whether you want to talk about your day, the staff somehow just knows!Everything about our stay was wonderful. Rooms are spacious and beautiful. The property itself is breathtaking. We often woke up a little late to catch breakfast, however, it NEVER was a problem. They catered to us in every way. The manager deserves a mention as he was incredible!!! His motto was, you go about your day how you want and just tell us what we can do to make it just right. We stayed in 4 different hotels in Zanzibar, and this by far was our favorite. We loved the privacy we had and the practically empty beach. Sure the beach is filled with sea urchins, so some areas are not meant for swimming but the staff will guide you to the areas that are. However, I must say my favorite part was reading my book every day after breakfast and sipping cocktails on their loungers. Before I finished my cocktail, the server always came with another one just in time! The infinity pool with the epic ocean view is also a must! The food was also fantastic and we truly got excited about every meal! The menu changes daily with what the chef was able to source for that day. This was something that we loved. There is a village just in front of the hotel, but unlike other hotels, this hotel integrated its community and has people from the village working on the property. This is something that made us really happy, as we believe giving back to the community is quite important. It truly was wonderful to see.We didnt want to leave this resort. We truly found a piece of paradise here and cant wait to return one day. Thank you, Sevi for such a fantastic stay.
My wife and I spent 7 nights here in January 2021 and were left extremely impressed by every aspect of this boutique hotel. We specifically chose SeVi because it looked small, accomodating only a fairly limited number of guests, which is exactly the kind of experience we like - and right from arrival we could tell we chose well, with a lovely personal greeting from multiple hotel staff and the management, then a tour of the premises. As we arrived far too early for our room to be ready we were shown to the on-site restaurant and offered breakfast, even though it was well after breakfast service had finished. We were extremely thankful as we had had no breakfast on our flight into Zanzibar - fantastic! Our room, or cottage, was simple but beautiful and had everything you need for a stay in a warm and humid part of the world. Plenty of shade, lots of air flow, a good quality ceiling fan and air conditioning if you really want it. Bedding was ample and very comfortable, and a turn down service setup the mosquito net every evening, so we were well protected overnight (and incidentally, neither of us were bitten by anything during our stay). We especially liked the outdoor cold water plunge pool which we used twice a day, after running on the beach - it was a fantastic way of cooling the body core temperature after a workout! The restaurant is a real highlight of the property; every item of food we ate was delicious, and I ate more fish here in a week than in all of the rest of my life (I dont usually enjoy seafood but Zanzibars fish was exceptional). We were told that food can sometimes take a while to be served because absolutely everything is cooked fresh, and we believe what we were told - if there ever was a wait then it was well worth it!Service throughout the hotel was with a friendly smile and we enjoyed talking with many staff. Location-wise we think this place is spot on, at the end of kilometres long white sand, occupying a quiet spot where we heard and saw very little in the way of action. The hotel will organise tours to Stone Town and elsewhere on the island, which we made use of and were very pleased with. All in all this is a gem, punching far above its price point and worthy of its enviable ratings. Hopefully someday well be able to visit again, and enjoy some more of the fantastic tuna steak the restaurant often serves. Keep up the good work guys and thanks for an amazing time!
Beautiful and peaceful! The owners were so friendly and we discovered they help care for a great many stray animals on the island. That says a lot about their character, I think. We had the big villa in July, 2020 and it was HUGE. The location was convenient for a trip to Mnemba. Coming back this summer with the kiddos if Covid permits. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Great private hotel with few people. Great for relaxing holiday. Villas are spacious, have air-con, the hammocks are perfect for falling asleep under the sounds of the sea. Management, Ashraf and George, do a good job keeping the place running efficiently. Stick to the restaurant for food- we tried a nearby restaurant and got food poisoning.
It s so romantic place! We had a honeymoon and spent 3 days at this hotel. They did an upgrade of our room, prepared the room with decorations and gave us a free massage.Honestly it was wonderful!! View is outstanding. The kitchen worked so good, all dishes were absolutely amazing!Only one thing which we don’t like is that very hard to swim in the morning. It s dirty and a lot of animals inside ocean.
Had a really great stay here in August 2020. From the communication to make booking direct to check-out, our experience was nothing short of extraordinary! The only downside is we couldnt stay longer! The property is well situated on a beautiful beach, with two other much more expensive properties in sight. Several water activities are available right outside the hotel. The rooms themselves are charming and comfortable and very clean. Food, especially lunch and dinner, is excellent. A wide selection of drinks are also available. Why this property consistently gets high marks, though, is because of the staff. From George to Anna to Dainess to Abraham to Ruth and more, everybody we encountered provided exceptional and friendly service. We cant wait to return!
We stayed two weeks in this beautiful resort in Matemwe. George will book an airport to hotel (and back) transfer if you wish so, and I strongly suggest taking this option. You will be welcomed by the staff with wet towels and big smiles. A quick tour of the resort will follow and you will be led to your room. There are not enough words, nor enough superlatives, to explain how much George, Ashraf, Khamis, Sharida, Denise, and, well, really all the staff will do to make you feel welcome.Every single day your room will be cleaned and redecorated as if it was the first day.Khamis will make your breakfast, lunch or dinner a special meal, full of joy laughter and care. His attention to details and of your comfort is exceptional and he always have a good word for making you smile. You will be treated like royalty. I know it sounds cliché or too much, but believe me: they will go above and beyond to make anything you ask to happen.I really cant spend enough words of gratitude for the beautiful time and experience we had in Sevi. If you find yourself in a pickle, Ashraf has a solution for anything; Ive been in many hotels, and many of them were 4/5 stars but never in my experience a manager was so friendly and sincerely interested in your well being.George is nothing less. Since we first booked the vacation (in early 2020, before the covid hit), he was nothing but cooperative, direct, and honest, allowing us to postpone our vacations even after the 1yr buffer time was expired. The eternal patience he has only measures with his joyful smile. If youre planning to visit Zanzibar, Sevi is a must.Thank you for everything.
Nice hotel, good service, amazing staff specially the manager Abdulaziz and George, always taking care of every detail in my stay, making it amazing. If you’re coming to Zanzibar and want to relax and enjoy of a quite holidays, this is your place. They’ll make you feel like home.
We stayed almost 4 weeks at Sevi and were not disappointed. The location of the resort is unique. It is located on a rock overlooking beautifully the lagoon and Mnemba Island. The staff is fantastic, starting from George the GM and Sharif, front office, housekeeping or the bar and restaurant with Khamis, Rashid, Hussein, Gina(the chef) and everyone else I might forgot. My wife had birthday and the whole crew organised an unforgettable dinner on the beach with a lot of fun and dance. Hakuna Matata and Asanti Sana.We had a great time and will be back soon.Sylwia and Robert
We stayed in a garden view bungalow for four nights and it was as perfect as a trip could be. The rooms are unique with a private pool, along with 3 other pools to try (thats excludes the ocean pool). The food at SeVi is changed daily and taken from the days catch to create some unique and memorables meals. The real magic however comes from the staff, George, and the cats, they really make the stay perfect. All staff are attentive and amazing, and were always willing to go the extra mile, especially when I got very sun burnt and they cut up some Aloe Vera plants they had in the garden for me. Thanks SeVi!
Gorgeous accommodations and views. Lovely staff and food. We very much enjoyed our time here. A word of caution- the water is full of sea urchins so wading and swimming is very difficult. This is not an issue just for Sevi, all the seafront on this part of the island is similar.
Loved it, great food and service and super beach.Hotel Manager Mr. Ashraf was great and he made our stay memorable. I really had great 4x nights there and I was sad for leaving.
Super holidays! From the great location, romantic atmosphere, fantastic beach, excellent food, professional management, friendly staff, perfect restaurant and service...what else do you need for a great and relaxing holiday? Oh yes! We got to swim with dolphins and I mean litterally swim with them!!!Than you for everything guys youre amazing! We will see you again very soon!
Too noisy, you never sleep at night, too much mosquitos, you wait your meal for more than one hour, dirty bathrooms with awful walls.
I’m not gonna talk about the view because pictures speaks louder than words, but these people are really fantastic in terms of service, they were surprising me every day with their service, they’re professional, friendly, cool, supportive and even funny..Ashraf, Sharida, Juliana, and Denise, definitely other staff were so good, however those mentioned people were the super heroes, they’re very helpful and really will make you happy whenever you meet them or ask them for anything that you need, i really enjoyed the max in this hotel everything was super perfect and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for relaxing, calmness, cleanliness and definitely wonderful views.
Beautiful hotel.... Good place weekend get away.
Guys, do not follow the aggressive adds of the so called BUTIK hotel with durty rooms, durty infrustructure inside, ugly overprised cuisine unless u’re seaching for getting experience of the deceived traveller
Sevi is such a great boutique hotel. We had such a superb stay. It has everything I’d want for a relaxing beach break. Great access to the beach, not too many rooms (about 20 I think), absolutely beautiful landscaping, three swimming pools, brilliant service, lovely staff, delicious food and run brilliantly by a lovely Greek/Russian couple (George and Anna) who provided everything we could have wanted... and were great to chat to!We hope to stay again in the future.
After 4 weeks of travel I chose SeVi as my last stop to treat myself and spend a couple of days relaxing solo by the pool and Im SO glad that I did. I was considering several places and wasnt sure because there werent a lot of reviews yet for SeVi, but the photos really convinced me to give it a shot. In person this place is even more beautiful than I expected, a true tropical escape. The bungalows are lovely, spacious, and so comfortable, and the air conditioning was life saving. There are hammocks, benches, and loungers all over so you can enjoy the pools, gardens, and beach. Though the tide was low when I was there, the water and sand were still beautiful, and its really cool that you can see local people out fishing and children playing and enjoying their days. Everyone who works there was incredibly kind and always smiling, the service was wonderful, and the food was fantastic. It felt so much more personal than the large resorts. George the manager is especially great. I was solo for the end of my trip and he checked in to make sure I was comfortable, even helping me out with some photography assistance! He really wants this place to be great, and is thoughtful with so many details so he knows everyone by name, and is always asking for feedback. Thanks so much to George and the SeVi team for a beautiful couple of days, I wish I had come sooner!
Avoid booking this in advance. 24h before our arrival date we needed to cancel 3 nights at this hotel. Asking for sharing the cost for cancellations. The answer was just NO! 😉 🤷🏻♂️ Modern robbery
This place is awesome around matemwe and people are verry politely and friendly make you happy and having fun actually you enjoy exactly
The SeVi Boutique Hotel is a small paradise. We couldn’t have enjoyed the stay more. George (the manager) was amazing, providing anything you might need, the place was amazing and the food was great. The relaxing ambience of the place and the vibe was also superb. Make sure you take the boat tour, as we saw about 30 dolphins fans were able to swim with them.
What an amazing hotel. A beautiful, private, boutique resort in a stunning location and with first class and friendly staff. My wife Meghan and I stayed at the hotel recently at the tail-end of our honeymoon after a week on safari and in Stonetown. It was the perfect place to finally sit back and relax. The hotel grounds are beautiful and green, with many pools to choose from...the one with the beach view next to the restaurant and bar, the larger one below with a waterfall, and lots of chairs.....the more private one next to their massage and spa facilities.....one for every day!The room was high end luxury, private lodges, with a refreshing private dip pool, and a water view, and a hammock on our porch area, for relaxing during the day. We didnt want to be anywhere else. The beach is breathtaking with the finest and whitest sand I have ever felt. It is like flour! The water is turquoise, warm and calm. Perfect. When the tide is in, it the perfect swimming beach. In the morning the seagrass is raked up and buried to make it pristine. The restaurant and bar overlook the beach and water, and it was the perfect place for a meal and drink at any time of the day.....breakfast was delicious, and the dinner had lots of variety daily, with an excellent seafood selection! The bar and wait staff were extremely kind, funny and attentive, and were always happy to to have a chat! The best thing about Sevi though? The people working there. They have the best staff who are friendly, helpful, and are always wanting to make our experience special. My wife suffered some bad sunburn on Day 1, which gave her some sunstroke and made her feel ill. but everyone there wanted to make sure she was still enjoying herself, provided her with aloe vera, massages, and were always asking about her welfare, and went above and beyond to ensure she was happy. Thank you to all!I have already recommended Sevi to my friends who are travelling next year, and I highly recommend it for those people who want a quieter, private resort, with the perfect beach and beautiful accommodation.
SeVi is a beautiful property on a beautiful beach. It is currently open (August 2020), despite there being few tourists due to COVID-19. We booked directly and got a generous room upgrade. The manager, George, along with his team, Dainess, Ruth and Abraham, were all exceptionally friendly and welcoming. They made us feel at home at SeVi during our short, two-night stay.SeVi is located on the same beach at Asilias Matemwe Lodge. We toured that property but found it no nicer than SeVi, even though it is considerably more expensive. We just switched to another hotel near Jambiani, but had we not had a non-refundable credit, we would have preferred to just stay at SeVi. Its really fantastic.Regarding the road to get there, take the new paved road and do not go through Matemwe village. Google Maps showed us the old road, which is very bumpy and rocky. Secured parking is available on site.
Update 16/8- Have received a very speedy response to my complaint from the GM and the issue appears to be with the travel agent.Original complaint- We were supposed to stay at this honey for the final part of our honeymoon trip- the luxury part and paid a huge amount for this hotel. Unfortunately due to Covid, our flights and tour were all cancelled by the airline/ tour company leaving us with no holiday and thus we requested to cancel or move our booking to 2021. The SeVi Boutique Hotel have informed us no refunds will be given (not even part refund) nor allowing us to rebook for our planned honeymoon in 2021. We are very disappointed as we have lost a significant amount of money and the hotel has shown a complete lack of consideration for it guests. If you are planning to book here in the future during Covid, I would hold back rather than risking throwing away your hard earned money.
It is a nice boutique hotel, I do recommend for those who need high service & calm place & clean rooms & good taste for food. The management there is professional. Staff is very friendly.
Good place with much space in the bungalows, care taking and friendly employes, clean rooms and good quality food. Recommendable also for a trip to Mnemba from there.
Beautiful place on the beach, top hospitality, delicious restaurant and great value for money. Beach villa 13 and 14 are must have... You see and feel ocean from the bed :-)
Such a great place to enjoy Zanzibar !!Boss George is very welcoming and the staff is really careful. They organize so many small things for our honeymoon ! Beach down is great with fish market also arround the hotel.Bungalow right on the beach and very well furinshed !Thanks !!Olivier and Charlotte.
Lovely, cozy hotel with extremely personal atmosphere. We absolutely enjoyed the 7 days we stayed in Sevi Boutique Hotel. What we loved most about the Hotel was the delicisious food, our spacious bungalow (beds are unbelievable comfy) and our host George :)
We stayed for a few nights at SeVi Boutique Hotel and we had an amazing time. The room was beautiful, the staff always helpful and kind and the location was great, right next to the beach!
Great place! The location is perfect: on a beautiful beach in front on Mnemba island, close by Matemwe village...Bungalows are great, service is good, and the Manager (George) is extremely friendly and willing to do everything to make sure your stay there will be perfect.
We had an amazing stay in SeVi Boutique Hotel. We stayed 3 night in April 2019 and it was one of the best memories of our holidays in Zanzibar. The hotel is located in the village of Matemwe, if you are looking for authenticity, relaxing/ quiet local life this is definitely the place to stay. The Manager George & his friendly team made everything perfect for us, always ready to help. Food and services are great. Our bungalow was right in front of the beach (perfect spot to live the Robinson Crusoe life for few day!) very spacious and cozy, with everything needed! Also do not miss the chance to visit Mnemba Island, the best snorkeling spot of the Island! (You can take the boat on the beach of the hotel which is very convenient!). George and the team will be happy to help you to organize everything. If your are looking for an authentic memorable, peaceful/ relax stay, far from busy touristic place SeVi Boutique Hotel is definitely the place to be!See you soon Sevi ! We definitely come back! Hakuna Matata !
10/10 brilliant place. Loved the whole experience - the hosts were so welcoming, the scenery was beautiful and the rooms far more luxurious than I was expecting for the price! Thank you!
What an experience in the middle of a paradise! George and his staff made sure every day we spent in Sevi was unique and pleasant. Special thanks to Dainess who welcomed us with a warm smile..Warmest regards to the Sevi family!!!We will be back. Fikret
We had a very nice and relaxing stay at SeVi. The beach is great, food and staff were also great. We can only warmly recommend it. Thanks to George and team!
Nice & clean but road not good
Leaving the airport and the capital area of Zanzibar the neighborhood quickly changes as you head toward the beautiful white beaches on the north eastern shore. Right when you think it can get any more primitive a wall and an iron gate greets you as you enter the little oasis of SeVi Hotel. As the receptionist greeted us: this place is the definition of Hakuna Matata. Spacious and cozy houses, great pool areas and a very nice restaurant.
Beautiful place, fantastic staff, delicious food. I loved the view on the ocean from the restaurant.
Well, thanks to George, the most famous Greak in zanzibar, and his wonderful staff, we have had à wonderful stay at the SeVi boutique hotel. Very charming and human size. Recommend definitely !
The best hotel to relax, the best hotel for your honeymoon trip!! Lovely staff and George the manager was really very helpful and kind!! Thank you for everything!!
