Do not recommend this place for breakfast. You would wait 1h for some basic salad, next to the dirty and noisy road, in quite dirty place (from evening, I believe).Maybe in the noon it gets better but not going to try anymore. Green salad, avocado burger and tuna salad were not tasty.It is quite cheap, but doesnt worth time IMHO.

On of the newest resturant in Kendwa and make a very testy food with a good price and they have fresh fish food and very delicious barbecue , and the prices really very good

Seafood curry was nice. The medium snapper is a bit small and covered with a cream sauce. We also tried the barracuda which was a bit dry.Good price but average food.

Great seafood! We’ve been coming here twice a day. This place doesn’t look as fancy as nearby restaurants but the food is excellent. I would recommend to try octopus and calamari first. Gorgeous.

This place has international/touristic food, and also authentic local food: up to you to make the right choice (for you!)! The octopus I had there was the best meal I had in Kendwa, and among the best octopi ever. Definitely recommendable. Service is typical, ie slow but kind.

Food is very average, prices are the same level as on the beach, but the place itself is not beautiful at all. Instead of chiken breast they brought us chiken leg. Instead on Kilimangiaro beer they have brought Safari. Rice and potatoes were all cold on the dish. I would not recommend this place

Fresh seafood, fish, baby-octopuses are perfect!

This place saved us from the horrendous tourist food of the nearby resorts on our last night in Kendwa. Really simple, local style dishes at a great price. Excellent fish masala. If you eat here, you wont be served the worst version of Western cuisine that you get at the nearby hotels.

Definitely recommend! The food is delicious, big portions, very well seasoned, juicy and for a great price. I appreciate that the restaurant even looks local, nothing grand or luxurious, gives you at least some local feel of Zanzibar. Even though they take their time - as everywhere on Zanzibar (HAKUNA MATATA) it is worth it. Have some Safari or Kilimanjaro and enjoy!!

The fish was good. Everything else was not. My man had stomach issues after eating their fish soup.

We were surprised with the food and service given the 4.6 rating of this place. It took 1 hour and 20 minutes for our food to come out, which was cold. Also both our fish dishes (tuna and daurade) were dry. Not very impressed overall

Food is good but way too slow, even by Tanzanian standards. We had to wait 1 hour and 15 minutes for our food, even though they only had to serve two tables in the whole place

Lovely little resturant! We ate here severall times whilst staying in Kendwa and always had a good feed! Food was always fresh and staff friendly. We loved the home made chilli sauce it was a shame we only found about it at the end of stay! Thanks so much :)

There was locality restaurant which is contain few wood chairs and table.Also was few workers for feet the services.Its true local because in general their around environment.And now as you seen is local for name and kept in the village but for some how is so good.In Fisherman Local you can speak in kiswali if you interest to it.Bye Bye visit in fisherman for more .....

The food was good although they have quite high prices compared to rest of Kendwa also compared to Nungwi. Not next to the beach either.We ordered 2 plates and the portions were small.

We lived in a 2-minute walk from the restaurant, so we came here sometimes for lunch or dinner. The restaurant is good, the food is delicious and the prices are affordable. The portions are large, once we took two dishes for two and did not finish. Therefore, in subsequent times they took one portion for two and ate well.I really liked the tuna salad and octopus, although the octopus was a little harsh in places. Tried pizza - not to say that straight Wow, but good enough. I liked the vegetable curry very much. True, this is more like a vegetable stew with rice. The squid is delicious.If you are nearby, this is a good place to have a tasty meal.
