We have dinner here and the best thing was a dance show. Everything else was awful! The most famous soup (in coconut) is just a water with a little smell of coconut. The lobster was too small. There was no any napkins! The music after the show was awful. It would be the worst choice if you want a nice evening near the ocean.P.S. we are still waiting for the bill during writing this post 😏

We rested at the hotel in February 2022. This is a compact 3 * hotel. We lived in the Beach building.Location: excellent, the hotel is located almost at the exit to the beach, the ocean is visible from the terrace of the restaurant.Cleaning: every day, very carefully cleaned everywhere, without a reminder they fixed the problem in the drain. Towels and bedding changed. True, once they didn’t put a single fresh towel, the reception explained that they still hadn’t dried after washing, they offered one clean beach towel instead.Pour a bottle of drinking water in the room.Food: I think that this hotel is very lucky to have a chef. This is a professional in his field. All dishes are very tasty. The ordered dishes have a very beautiful restaurant serving. In addition, he always goes out to the guests, is interested in their opinion about the dishes, readily answers questions about the ingredients.Breakfast - buffet. I think this is sooo important for 3 *, it saves a lot of morning time. While we were 2 people. for the whole hotel on HB, dinners were served to us. Here, as I said, the professionalism of the chef was visible, everything is delicious and beautiful: the first course is always vegetable soup or soup-puree, seafood, fish, chicken, crab .. We rested about a year ago. The hotel is, unfortunately, not much, except for the staff.Breakfast Buffet - one name. In fact the food is applied chefs, waiters. The hotel itself and the staff are not bad. The location is also not the worst. But managers stop churning out positive reviews for yourself! Cafe kebab-mashlyk prepares 50% rotten meat. For the new year, vacationers were fooled, they came up with a holiday menu, etc., they collected money, but in fact they offered a regular dinner, after which the floor of the hotel got up from the tables and went to SunSet (I highly recommend it). In the evening we met with the manager of the hotel, agreed that he would move us in 2 days to another room on the second floor. Moved, and after another 2 days, the same manager Azgar, otherwise his name is Muhamed, said that we should move again to a room on the first floor overlooking the fence, since he rented this room to other people or we have to pay 100 bucks to the hotel and negotiate with these people so that we can live another 2 days. after that we moved to another hotel. We are finishing our stay at this hotel.We were settled in a new building, it is located 100 meters from the main one. Loved the coconut soup at this hotel! I cant say anything about the territory. Its almost gone. But there is a cool bar, a swimming pool (more recently) in the evenings, sometimes artists and dancers perform.

Rested at the hotel from 12.11.21 to 23.11.21. Settled in the building of the Tropicana Garden. The building was just opened and we were the first to settle. Lived in 9 rooms. I liked it, colorful, not standard. The friendly staff helps tourists in everything! The Kendva Hotel’s beds are offered on the beach. Conveniently, there is WI FI. The hotel is good, but the review here is about Anex Tour, which sell excursions to tourists in this hotel.On the second morning, the guide from Anex-tour Maxim very nicely offered us excursions, promised almost that they were the most profitable and would be ideally organized. We, like many others from our hotel, believed him, we thought that if he was from a large company, then he would not be deceived. We bought excursions from him, among which there was a safari tour of $ 540 for two. On a safari excursion, my girlfriend and I were assigned to different planes, and children and parents were also separated. With a fight we knocked out the opportunity to fly on one plane, in the end everyone flew away, but we and 10 more people did not fly with us, the plane broke down and we waited an hour at the airport until we were given a working plane. As a result, having arrived on the safari, the safari guide Irina lied to us that others were waiting for us and only left half an hour ago, we asked the rest of the tourists that they were leaving as the cars were full. That is, she simply deceived us, thinking that we would not learn the truth from other tourists. As a result, we went on a safari, the binoculars in the car were broken, the driver constantly confused the road, came back to find the right path. What is the attitude of this miracle company to us. But other tourists, who started the safari an hour earlier, were given an hour and a half more time to buy. As a result, we waited for them at the airport in the bus for an hour and a half while they were bought. We wrote complaints, demanded compensation, but in response to the complaint, anex tour tried to make us look like idiots and that we were to blame for everything. They also wrote that the plane was delayed by 40 minutes, not an hour, although we have a video of the first takeoff attempt and when it turned out to take off, in which there was time, but no one wants to listen to it. In the end, we were sent. Also, the guide Maxim, when selling excursions, lied that it was dangerous and unprofitable to buy excursions on the beach, we bought one excursion on the beach and it was of much better quality than anex-tour. Also, the guide Maxim lied that the other two tourists liked it, but they told us no. Beware, do not fall for the tricks of the salesman Maxim and Anex-tour, which only need your money, after payment you will be ignored and the services will be performed only formally. As a result, we stayed for $ 540 7 hours on a safari and 2.5 hours at the airport, and other tourists 9.5 hours on a safari for the same money. That is, for some reason they decided to cheat us and in the end they accused us that it was we who were to blame for everything and that everything was supposedly fine, we should be happy, everything is fine.

The best hotel in Zanzibar !!! I have been resting here for the third time, and each time the quality only increases! Who likes to relax at home, you definitely need to visit this hotel. Friendly staff will always come to the rescue, resolve any issue. The food is simply top notch, with some of the best chefs on the island. The rooms are always clean, daily cleaning. Access to the ocean 2 minutes. In the evening you can listen to your favorite music, watch a concert, smoke a hookah and, of course, have a delicious meal😋 I definitely recommend it !!!

Great place for its price. The room is clean, air conditioning works. The water was barely warm, but not frozen. Close to the beach. There are two rows of sunbeds on the nearby beach. They were not hungry. So the portions are small, but you can always take more. The chef is always on his feet, I dont know if he ever rests. The waiters are friendly. We rested at the end of March. Hotel for 3 *. On the plus side: polite and friendly staff, rooms are cleaned daily, beach towels are provided. Be prepared for the fact that the water pressure is really very weak; The most unpleasant thing is that the electricity went out three times in a week for several hours. In such heat it is very hard without an air conditioner and a fan, there was a nice balcony. The room is quite austere, no glasses and no shampoo / shower gel. The food is adequate and adequate. Breakfast: scrambled eggs or pancakes, oatmeal, delicious croissants, juices and coffee / tea. For dinner, seafood and meat (beef is tough), great rice, fruits (pineapple, watermelon, mango). Chef Nurdin is very welcoming and helpful. From the point of view of location - the most optimal option, close to the beach and the sea is the cleanest, even better than in Nungwi.

The hotel is disgusting! Rested from the martyr in December 2020. There are no reviews from the hotel, there are reviews about the restaurant. To begin with, the hotel has problems with water in the shower, there is either no water at all, or a very weak pressure. Water is not given at all, even a glass of water is paid in this hotel. We were given a room where the window overlooked the kitchen wall, at 6 in the morning we woke up from the shout of cooks. When asked to move to another room, we were refused. The food is bad, sometimes they even served rotten seafood mixed with normal ones. They put the portions themselves and we were very little hungry. It used to be that we finished for breakfast what the guests were not enough for dinner at a restaurant. Treshka as treshka, not much different from Sri Lanka or Malaysia. If you are traveling for the sake of the hotel and do not leave it, then yes, something else is better. I was traveling savage and just dropped in here 24.12. In one building they said there were no rooms (high season), in the other they were given for 2 nights. They asked for $ 60 per night, bargained up to $ 50 (cash only); if for 35 $ -40 $, it would be good or excellent price / quality. In areas with sun loungers at hotels, this is controlled and merchants do not go there. There is no such happiness in the tropicana. To all tourists: Plan a trip together with Join-Up. Only actual propositions! Pratsyumo only with top partners. The name is a reliable partner of TROPIKAL Tours LTD.There was no room at the Tropicana Kendwa Beach Hotel. There was no hotel guide from Join-Up there either (Plan all together with Join-Up!). But there was a hotel guide from Anex Tour named Rashid. We were taken to the “branch” of this Tropicana Villa hotel. Do not try to search for its description on the Internet, you will not find it. It simply does not exist! This building is located half a kilometer from the main complex. There was a construction site, workers were digging something, clothes were drying nearby. Of course, we refused to check in there. Rashid didnt care about us. We, from Join-Up with the top partners of TROPIKAL Tours LTD, tired him with our claims. 4 hours he took us out. Periodically disappearing and returning, he proved that this was a wonderful hotel, that there were no more vacant places on the entire coast. In the end, he said the truth: either move in where you were offered, or he will leave now, and leave us the opportunity to solve our (!!!) problems ourselves.Exhausted after 14 hours of flight, passing through customs and moving to Kendwa, hungry, stupefied from the heat, stunned by a meeting with the top partners of TROPIKAL Tours LTD, after 4 hours of negotiations with Rashid, we were forced to check into this incomprehensible hotel even more the lowest level, no reception, no wi-fi, refrigerator, soapy accessories, where the safe did not work. Practically at a construction site, next to drying clothes on ropes (see photo).For breakfasts and dinners, we went to the main hotel (half a kilometer, remember?). The food corresponded to the hotels three stars. The portions are small, but if you wanted supplements, you could come up again.Half a kilometer for breakfast in the morning is not so scary. Almost a kilometer from the beach to the hotel in the sun (we had a siesta in the heat), dusty paths called roads are already annoying. And in the evening, after dinner, in the dark, off-road, in the dust, across the entire village with groups of kids demanding “1 dollar in your bag” and taxi drivers inviting for a ride, these half a kilometer seemed endless.Any household request could only be addressed at the reception (half a kilometer, remember?). For example, we come to the room. and there is one towel, one sheet, no light, the air conditioner and the fan do not work. Then there are two options for the development of events: to walk half a kilometer in the heat (or at night) to the main building and talk about problems, risking a “myocardial infarction”. Or say hakuna matata (no problem), the favorite of the Zanzabari, and rely on the will of God. And there were similar problems every day !!!The Tropicanas “beach” is a fenced-off passage through numerous shops to the ocean on both sides. Three pairs of sun loungers near these fences. Only lovers of saunas and steam rooms can lie there. Further - there are two options for the development of events: to occupy the sun beds of other hotels (then they need to buy lunch or dinner). Or walk along the coast for a long time to the overhanging rocks and hide from the sun there.But the delightful nature, favorable weather, the ocean stunning with a palette of colors, stunning sunsets, amazing excursions from Zanzi.Club, the local flavor did not disappoint! We looked at all the attractions that Zanzibar has to offer, except for the mainland safari. Should I go again? Hardly...
