This hotel had the most stunning views ever. It is located right on the beach and features a restaurant at the top floor so when you dine you get a view of everything.They also offer really great hookah and a small pool with a cute palm tree in the middle of it. The rooms were so clean and have huge closets so you can store all of your belongings in it.I also found it SO creative that every room is named after a country rather than just a plain number. So creative! Can’t wait to come back! ❤️🙌🏼

It is the worst hotel that can exist.First, it took us a long time to get there because it is not actually called Lazy Beach Hotel, but Sun Sea Bar Hotel (I dont know the reasons but what they told us at reception is that it had changed its name).Second, I paid (and everything in advance because that was the condition) for a double room with a balcony, but to them (they even showed me their information), it appeared that I had booked a standard room (without balcony); They commented that it was a booking error and that I had to complain to them.Third: the sheets on the two beds in my room were disgusting (stained) and what they said is that it was normal due to coconut oils that people use for massages.Fourth: the musty smell is very intense, in fact the pillows have fungus, like the bathroom ceiling.Fifth: the glass door of the shower was bad, it did not slide well and it was not possible to close it properly. The hotel has 2 big advantages for me: quite modern design with old furniture and pretty silent location away from the place with a lot of people. The cons: very boring breakfast (basically we got eggs for 6 days in row), unstable and slow wi-fi (even at night when everybody is sleeping), not tasty food (comparing to SunSet restaurant), terrible hookah/shisha (the worst in my life actually, with a ton of mint and old device).

Moderate accommodation cost. Located near the tip of the islands, the hotel hosts one of the good ocean view rooms 3 of which are on ground floor with private Jacuzzis right out the rooms. Once inside, the rooms are spaces enough though the bed linen is not impressive with single sized blankets on double beds. The cleaning staff seem not very keen to clean after children, so you might want to reconsider if traveling with Children, not very Child friendly. The restraunt has a variety of meals though rigid for custom meals, could sense a tough(mean?) director at the top who would want to approve every tiny bit of improvement. Locally know as Varadero, the hotel has a good share of the beach which is relatively clean when the tide is low and very clean when the tide rise, so you want to swim when the tide rises. The receptionist were extremely nice and ensure you have a good stay there, though the management environment can frustrate you at times. Hot water is turned off during the day so if you enjoy those warm showers, you have to wake up early or request for the water to be reheated. The rooms have no TV sets but they have a very stable 2.5mb/s internet so you can always catch with the news.

My husband and I came from Stonetown by bike and we were searching for last minute room availability at several hotels during the holidays of high season (crazy idea and will never ever go unplanned ever again lol) luckily we stumbled upon this gem of a place right on the water. The locale is on the quiet part of Kendwa which we prefer. The rooms are clean, spacious and modern, price is within budget and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Our only complaint is the breakfast that’s included (but really we don’t mind because of the view from the rooftop that we get while we sip on our coffee and tea). Highly recommend this place to just relax and enjoy on the beach!

Budget hotel, repair standards, took a room with a jacuzzi. There is a kettle in the room but no glasses or cups. You can take glasses at the bar for a deposit: 1 glass = $ 5, after returning the dishes they promised to return the deposit. In the photo there is an old building, it is also presented by tour operators when booking, in fact everyone is settled in new buildings and they say that this is just a booking error, the tour operator confirmed such a reservation. WiFi was nominally, but the connection is weak, we used the local mobile Internet. Cleaning must be ordered at the reception, for me it was not a problem. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The general manager also made a very good impression. It can be seen that the hotel is developing. In just a week, we made a lot of tables on the beach, planted palm trees in the yard, added lighting and some other little things.About breakfast. I liked the hotel, the room with a jacuzzi is small, but there was enough space, especially since most of the time was spent on the patio outside the room. There is also a small coral reef on that side, near the blue and white panton.There is a restaurant on the top floor. The food is quite tasty. Breakfast is also served there.Spent two weeks in this hotel - did not regret taking this hotel for such a long time.

Visited this cafe on the 4th floor of this hotel.Food quality is good, never poisoned. The portions are not small, for three (two adults and a child of 8 years old) ordered two dishes. You can come with your drinks, while they also bring chilled glasses. The staff liked it. The prices are adequate. Sometimes a DJ was invited, who even included Russian music. I liked the atmosphere in this cafe.

This is the local owners third alpacino restaurant. He tries to look after the staff. Everything is clear. The portions are large! There is a childrens menu (fish sticks and nagets) but they are slightly different from our presentation. Much more! Deep fried. It is possible for an adult to eat too. Walk up to the 4th floor. The beach near the hotel is not very good. Since there are many boats and the low tide is small. But on the right, if you stand with your back to the hotel, you need to walk a hundred meters to the right and there will be a wonderful wide beach line.

The hotel is located in an ideal place for any tourist: if you want to go to the low tide on the shallows, to the left of the hotel is a sandbank, or if you want to swim at low tide to a depth, to the right. Someone wrote about a hard mattress, well, here excuse me, you won’t please everyone! We liked the bed: huge, hard mattress, but for me its a plus !!!

However, being in a seemingly African country, we feel the support of all the locals, and most of all the owner of the Alpachino Hotel, who at such a difficult time for us, does everything possible to make us feel comfortable, it is: regardless of place of residence) Ukrainians; discount for accommodation with breakfast and dinner included (went on tour only for breakfast); daily special lunch suggestions. Alpachino himself is constantly interested in each guests business, whether everything is fine .....Secondly, the hotel itself has just a chic location on the first line of the beautiful Kendva beach. Everything is close to grocery stores, a fishing village (where you can buy seafood for every taste), boats and ships for excursions, a beach strip where you can walk to Nungwa (1 hour. And by the way there I did not like… Kendwa One Love ❤️).Thirdly, everything about the rooms is clean, the bed is big, the mattresses are comfortable, the bed is clean, white, there is also a blanket, a huge closet, safe, air conditioning works fine, refrigerator, kettle, desk, shower, we had entrance to the room and a balcony with side ocean views. By the way, the balcony has a clothes dryer, two armchairs and a table.
