Jumbo! Gold far exceeded our expectations. The resort itself is beautiful and the beach stunning. The staff went out of there way to make us feel special and welcomed. The resort provided outstanding entertainment every night and a number of daily activities too. We opted for the all inclusive deal which was fantastic and we loved the food. Plenty variety to chose from especially if you love fish! A special shout out to Khadija, Masoung and Joseph. Hasante! We hope to be back soon!

The hotel and the staff is very nice. It Was very organised and the food was amazing too. But the birds kept flying to the food and ate from the buffet which makes ir unhygenic. Also a bird pooped on my plate.

The resort was lovely. The staff were friendly and hospitable. The room was really spacious, had a nice shower and bathroom and nice view from a big balcony. It said ocean view but it was only a partial view of the ocean. The food was pretty good, lots of variety. The facilities were really good, the pool area and the beach was spectacular. Highly recommended!

I dont usually make reviews but I had to say something: The couple in the room next to ours had their room burglarized by housekeeping.Employees size you up when you arrive to determine what kind of service you will receive as its not consistent.Dining and drink hours are extremely restrictive especially for all-inclusive. At the all inclusives Ive been to, it usually is 24/7 food and drink and here they really try to restrict consumption.We werent looking to party but it wouldve been nice to have mingling events.

Disgrace Place. Fool Gold Beach House and Spa.The ride to hotel was 20 minute bumpy road and unpleasant. Hotel greeted you at first and give nice warm towel and drink. Porter bring my luggage to room and stood there and stare at my wife and made her uncomfortable. I give tip and he dont leave and ask too many questions. Hotel employees do not smile, do not provide any help, do not help with beach activity like boat ride, do not offer activity except beach, spa, pool, volleyball. Food is average and not very good for place that says high class resort. Guest service is slow, have to call many times for towel and hair dryer for wife. Our shoes and bags moved and touched. My wife missing some items. No manager available and told to wait until next day. No prioritize guests or make us feel welcome or safe. The beach is nice but not very close to water and beach not private. No dancing or entertainment in evening except one night had beach party but too much sand and for children, not us older guest. Spa just 2 room with massage table and massagers must not be trained very well, not like my masseuse I see at home.

This was our favourite beach holiday yet. This resort has the best beach in Zanzibar - other resorts have a stone wall with steps to the beach whereas this is flat and beautiful. A lot of the reviews for this place mention hawkers on the beach but this is where we got a great deal on a trip to Mnemba island where we swam with wild dolphins and snorkelled in crystal clear waters. Also, the resorts loungers on the beach are for guests only and no hawkers are allowed in that area. Gold Zanzibar resort has a stunning pool surrounded by a gym and spa, and a bar, all with a relaxing vibe. We experienced amazing hospitality from the staff and the manager was very attentive, offering us a free room upgrade halfway through our stay. This is a beautiful resort and we will definitely be back!

Ive been coming annually to Zanzibar for nearly 10 years and I like to check out all the properties but always going back to my favorite, Zuri Zanzibar. This time we decided to check out Gold Zanzibar for an extended weekend. The reviews for here were kind of a mixed bag of extremes so I wondered where we would fall.Room was nice and open, clean and nice. The outlets didnt match anywhere else on the island so I did not have the correct plug. That was really annoying. The view wasnt what was advertised - it was blocked.BIGGEST PROBLEM: Housekeeping doesnt respect boundaries and come in at least 2x a day. I kept putting the do not disturb sign on the door but they came in when I was taking a mid-day nap. There is also absolutely no safety latches on the inside of the room. for an island with a high crime rate, this is a giant blind spot. Why arent there safety latches? Anyone with a simple room key could come in. (red flag) . Thats not really secure.I complained at the guest desk but that did not help. (red flag).Overall, I thought this was an average stay. Im glad I checked it out and got to see the water from a different view but I couldnt enjoy it due to all the locals trying to see me things. I probably wont return when there are better options on the island.

Ive written 2 reviews on Tripadvisor and they keep getting taken down which makes me think the resort is doing whatever it can to erase bad reviews, which makes my average rating goes down.Outlets didnt work, kinda rude and ignored us. Food was okay. They were mad I asked for rice so I didnt ask again. Dirty. Staff does not care about you unless you are from Italy.

Look - normally I dont even waste my time writing negative reviews but this place should be a warning to many guests. I was completely shocked at the terrible service and treatment that not only I received, but my climber friends received this summer. Some of us went at the same time and others stayed after us as we did safari and zanzibar after climbing Kilimanjaro - what a way to end a trip by relaxing on the beach right? But no, bruh, this was not what I had in mind. I was met with a mix of either totally ignoring you apathy or rudeness from staff employees which I had not witnessed at all anywhere on the island of Zanzibar or Tanzania itself. I was thrown a loop for this. I have never had such treatment from average rated hotels in my entire life. The place was average at best - food was average, drinks barely had alcohol and all inclusive was slow service and you barely got your money worth. Rooms were large with great wifi but bad plumbing, no hot water, dirty sheets, and waited forever for ANY and all requests. Pool was crowded and closed early. Volleyball net and sitting on the beach lounge was the best part of the whole place but the beach itself isnt private and you are sold items nonstop. My female friends were seriously harassed. Housekeepers dont respect your sign to do not disturb when you try to nap in your room. AND SOMEONE ENTERED MY ROOM WITH A KEY (no keycards here just actual keys) AND STOLE MY ELECTRONICS!!!!!!!!! THEN - No one from the hotel front desk or security cared to help me or resolve this matter! Are you serious!!!!???? What kind of establishment does that to their paying guests!? This happened to three of my travel mates too - one had money stolen, one had her electronics stolen, one had various items missing! I am so disgusted! AVOID THIS PLACE! NO ONE CARES!Oh and if you care about covid - this place doesnt. No temp checks, staff Kinda wear masks but not properly, and no guests required to wear them in the dining areas or reception desk areas.

🏖Holiday: If you are reading this review, strongly consider Gold Zanzibar!Located NNW on the Island of Zanzibar, Gold is both well located, well priced and well worth it!This area of the island has an array of activities on offer and is ideally balanced with options to enjoy the beach as a swimmer, snorkeler or sunbather.The resort itself is not a big piece of land but the team at Gold make up for any all shortfalls with their attention to detail, warm hospitality and local charm.The beach is a stone’s throw from the pool and dining areas. The layout of the landscape makes everything easy and convenient.Rooms are large. They have a separate walk in cupboard, a couch seating area, a coffee/tea station and a separate full bathroom. The aircons work well, the linen is fresh & clean.The pool area is ample & well maintained.There are more than enough loungers & fresh towels on tap.The beach sand is white. The sea water is a warm kaleidoscope of turquoise & dark blue.The service from the staff is excellent 👌🏽The food is good. Fresh, flavourful and plentiful.The menu is updated daily and hardly “repeated”.The barmen are fast and make good cocktails!EVERY staff member goes out of their way to make guests feel at home, comfortable and catered to.Gold is one of those places where one becomes accustomed to such a high and consistent level of service from all staff that that too becomes almost “standard”... in retrospect, all things considered: a tropical, rural, island hotel, the Gold’s experience can only be called: FANTASTIC!One note, (this is not unique to Gold & pertains to most of the beaches where there are tourists) there are groups of vendors that hover up and down the beach, referred to as “the beach boys”. They sell trinkets & excursions to guests as they walk down to the ocean. They can be a bit bothersome but for the most part seem to respond well to a polite decline of their offering.

Absolutely amazing stay! Staff is extremely attentive, the rooms ARE beautiful, 5-course meals everyday and the access to one of the most beautiful beaches in the country. I also enjoyed the on grounds spa for two days straight! I recommend this place for anyone visiting Zanzibar you will not regret it!!

Our last and third night, hotel staff robbed our room during turn down service. They stole $6k worth of goods. There was no sign of breaking and entry, and security confirmed whoever came in had a key. Only snoopy housekeeping would have known what we had hidden in our room. We went to dinner and came back to being robbed.How did they handle this?First just stared at us and patronize us about how good security is (WE WERE ROBBED ON YOUR PROPERTY), said the next morning the police and gm would meet us at 8am. They wouldn’t call the police that night (sketchy?) and then said Hakuna Matata (No worries). Read the room, we were just robbed.Next day, no police and gm meeting. The gm hid in his office and only came out bc I came looking for him and loudly said why I was there. He talked again about security just to make me go away. No one seemed surprised and acted very casual about this and thought we were being hysterical for not just accepting the robbery and going about our day. We had to go to the police station to fill out a report. The resort felt that since a report was filed, that’s where their responsibility ended. That’s not how that works.There was no investigation, no security footage shown, and frankly we were ignored, no apology that this happening, no responsibility or accountability. If this happened on your property, you are responsible, period.The cavalier attitude and the lack of compassion leads me to believe this happens a lot here, probably on the guests last night so they just leave after making a report. Btw travel insurance won’t cover a fraction of what was stolen.Were we targeted bc we’re American? Women? We will never know but don’t come here unless you want staff to lie to your face, rob you, ignore you and then try to charge you.I ONLY got a half apology bc I posted on trip advisor. If the gm really cared about this why didn’t this happen in person? Why did he only give a basic email with no name but other positive postings got his name? Why did it happen online when we were there for 24 hrs after the robbery?This place is corrupt and disgusting. The food is mediocre and the service is slow. No one wears their masks over their nose and mouth either. There are people on the beach waiting to harass you as soon as you venture out.

Food is average - pasta bar was the best option most nights. Service is very slow. Drink service starts at 10am but dont expect anyone to come around until after 11. It seemed like a major inconvenience for servers to get you a beverage.No night life. It all shuts down after 10, 11pm tops if thats important to you. There are parties down the beach from the sound of it but to get there, there are a lot of beggers and shady people on the beach in between to maneuver around.The beggers and hustlers on the beach totally take away from enjoying the beach and water. Shoot your shot but they do NOT take no for an answer. Its serious harassment. And if theres no one to harass on the beach, these individuals will sit and STARE at you from the resort until someone ventures out unknowing.Beach chairs and umbrellas are plentiful and comfortable but the cushions are stained and dirty. I get it, its on the beach and it rains sporadically but its doubtful theyve ever seen a washing machine.Housekeeping is very inconsistent. One day you get flowers all over, the next, its just thrown together. One day youll have 2 towels each (4 total) and each day after, the number of towels go down with no rhyme or reason. Even if you put a Do not disturb sign on your door, housekeeping will still come in.Beds are comfortable. Wifi is really good especially for Zanzibar/Tanzania. You get your own wifi in your room along with numerous wifi around the property, depending on where you are. It is quiet on the property so we had no problem sleeping and didnt hear neighbors.

It is such an amazing place to spend the honeymoon. Food is great, rooms are big and very comfortable. Attendance has been SUPER!Petter and hotels director were so kind to us, paying attention to every detail. Also, there are activities during all day, like football, volleyball or music/dj at night. Definetly, we recommend Gold Zanzíbar for any honeymooners.Thanks for all! 😊

My wife and I had an amazing stay at Gold Zanzibar, one of the best stays ever especially thanks to such an amazing and observant staff.Paulina, Sasha, Peter and all others were such great hostesses at the Gold Zanzibar Kilimanjaro Restuarant which serves the best buffet. Big compliments to the cooks which went lengths to not only preparing and serving the food but also always kind and friendly. Same goes for the bar men and ladies, the cocktails were a pleasantry, you have mastered my favorite “Moscow Mule” drink :)Abdul and Salim our butlers that went above and beyond to make our last nights so special, catering to a romantic 5star dinner and breakfast. You stole our hearts!Mr. Ruwa, such an attentive, cool, calm and collective gentleman that brings a sense of peace in every action he takes. Your attention to details is what has brought it all together and certainly made our departure bitter sweet as you will be missed. Room was caught being burglarized by staff on security cameras, but the hotel management and owner has done nothing except ignore the CRIME and has actively been trying to remove any negative comments and reviews from all websites. Tour and booking companies are now avoiding this thieving property. Stay elsewhere or expect to be robbed.

A stay that far exceeded my expectations. From a gracious welcome, assistance with booking excursions, to individualized meal preferences. Attentive service from Ruwa and Peter and all of the hospitality staff. Nothing was too much trouble. They even expedited my covid-19 testing. Was in and out of the testing center within 5 minutes. I will definitely be back.

Hotel is very good.You can have full board or all inclusive with including drinks .Need to take under consideration that drinks cost is much higher at the hotel so calculate if it worthy.Stuff are nice , fast and always with smile.Beach is incredible.I was there in October 2020 (COVID 19 ) prices went down and Zanzibar is a little bit empty.Highly recommend

The Gold Zanzibar was a beauty to behold and memories to cherish , theres so much that remains untold of this hidden gem, the beautiful heartwarming beach was amazing , lots of sun beds and service available in the beach , the swimming pool was bug enough and catered for the whole family as the have a baby pool , near the pool is Ocean bar, easy to order a cocktail as you bask in the sunbeds around the pool area, The Healing Earth Spa Rituals were something to look forward to , so was the meals at kilimanjaro restaurant . Overall an oasis I would visit again and again.

We stayed one week in October 2019 with out two kids in the resort. The resort is very well managed and the service is excellent. The hotel is surrounded by other hotels and restaurants so you can also leave the place and try something else. However, if you have booked the all inclusive package you will find no reason to leave. The food is perfect and you can enhance in a lot if activities directly in the hotel. Strongly recommend

I had travelled far from der asalaam on ferry.. I booked the hotel through booking.com and my room was confirmed.. travelled in a taxi over a1 hour to get to the hotel and it was cancelled... they said they were fully booked.. I was extremely tired and annoyed.. the lady at front desk was helpful. But I had to get another taxi and find another hotel. This is not good service or practice from such an expensive hotel. I will not attempt to go back!

The resort itself is beautiful - white sand beach, blue water, great location. Rooms are large and clean. Property is lovely. Service is attentive. However, for the price and star rating, we found the food left much to be desired, and ended up eating out more than not, despite having a food plan. This applies to both traditional and international cuisine at the main restaurant. Did not try the more formal sit-down, but did not have confidence in the kitchen after eating at the buffet.

Its true that they have the best beach in the entire Zanzibar. You are able to access the entire kendwa from here and the views are to die for. The rooms are spacious and the food is amazing. They have a big pool and bar.

The staff was eager to help, even with the small things to add to your stay. Such an amazing place to find rest for your soul!

!!!!The service was badWe were staying in the hotel for 4 nights.when we entered the room it wasnt clean and there were open drinks from the previous guests. We called the reception and asked for cleaning service to clean the room properly but, after we called five times we gave up and cleaned it ourselves.In addition, Will our stay the boiler broke down twice (in different rooms)- it took them over an hour to fix it!!After these events, we received acompensation but it wasnt overAt one of our meals (which was part of our honeymoon package) we asked the waitress twice whether the drinks were included- after she answered yes (in both times) we were forced to pay for the drinks even though it was their mistak!!!In conclusion the service is poor and inappropriate for the high price we paid.I would not recommend staying at the hotel !!

Paradise! Best location on Zazibar! Not affected by the tide, and beach is pure white. Hotel is fantastic. Recommend the Beach Villas. The sea bottom could be cleaned up a bit.

We were a big family group of 9 adults and 3 children (2 under age of 2) for 2 night 3 day stay..we are totally satisfied with the hospitality of GOLD..the food 10/10 the hotel staff went the extra mile to ensure our children got the foods they like and will eat incase theres nothing they want from the buffet. The buffet had alot of options and was different for lunch and dinner, .The service 100/100 all the staff were so polite friendly and ready to serve at any time without any hesitation..a special mention of the server RAMADHANI at the buffet restaurant who was so helpful in deciding our drink, the chef SUNIL who asked us if we were enjoying our food and if there is any specifics we would like...and finally Mr.PETER who is the guest assist at the restaurant who assisted us with our kids meal.The beach of nungwi speaks for itself and is natures gift to TANZANIA...our stay was memorable and will definetly recommend GOLD zanzibar..ahsanteni sana

Superb hotel with friendly staff and access directly on to the beach.Pool is very large and there are many loungers available as the hotel was not very busy when we visited. Buffet food got a little repetitive but there was plenty to choose from.The hotel is situated right on the doorstep of a village (Kendwa) with the hotels occupying all of the beach front land. The juxtaposition of wealth alongside relative poverty may be uncomfortable for some. But wander around the village and shops and you will meet lovely, friendly people who are glad of the trade you bring.Rooms are large. Air con modern. Regularly power failures at peak times (early morning and throughout the evening) as the on site generator struggles to supply full demand. Outages are brief but it takes wifi longer to kick back in. Good wifi coverage around the hotel grounds.Beach is clean and clear. Plenty to see and do. Sunset cruise recommended but negotiate the price! We cut family of 5 rate in half.Stone town is 80-90 minutes drive away although the new (Chinese) road that is currently being constructed will undoubtedly resuce that to under and hour.Overall, and bearing in mind the hotels remote location, it is hard to be anything other than generous and recommended this hotel highly.

When I booked this place online and had some looking around of the pic on their website you totally get so impressed and breathtaking of the hotel but when u get there it’s totally different history.The rooms looks amazing online but they are totally forgotten and haven’t had any maintenance for long time. Shower holders falling apart, soap handle hanging half broken, very very dark inside, bath with lots of stains like around the sink, mosquito nesting with cigs burned on it, stains around the shower walls etc etcRestaurant- quite big but lots little things missing too, most of the food I have to grab with the same tongs which it’s not very hygiene also in the whole resort when u ask for a basket of ice be prepared to grab the ice with a tea spoon !!!!! Also if you want to eat the crab 🦀 get ready to get dirty, they haven’t got the right tools to eat it like in any five star hotel not even a finger bowl to wash your hands after that or wipes. Absolutely terrible !! How can a 5 star hotel hasn’t got a simple thing like ice tongs !!!!Swimming pool quite big but also been left without maintenance for while. Around the water fall it’s covered green stains and other kind of stains too. Most of the sunbathing are half broken and again without maintenance !!!Staff most of them needs lots and lots of training they’re lots of them but it seems they are a bit lost when u order for something it’s always take ages to arrived. But a Fabiola at the main restaurant it was absolutely amazing !! Well done 👍🏽The lobsters 🦞 night they advertise on their website it’s worth to try not amazing but very nice 👍🏽So very disappointed over all as it’s not worth the price they charge for your stay, I’ve been in so many 5 star hotels and this one is far far far way in to be one !!!I really don’t know how they got all these awards of best hotel !!! So if you looking for Zanzibar hotel don’t wast your money on this one like I did, try to find somewhere else.

Awesome spa staff the manager Jane and her team member rose do an excellent job along with their amazing trainer Tiffany who is on top of everything happening around. Suggestion to have a pedicure chair for easier handling by the staff.

We visited Zanzibar for our honeymoon. We chose Gold hotel because we wanted to have the best vacation we could ever dream of, but it turned out to be the complete opposite!!I cant imagine how it could get any worse:1. We arrived to thw hotel at 10 pm aftet a delaied flight. We received the key to our upgraded (by approx. USD 1,000) room, abd there were no hot water. After waiting half an hour for a maintenance guy, it appeared the reason was thatno one bothered to turn the boiler on. After waiting 40 minutes and still no hot water, the maintenance came again, and than he stated the boiler is actually broken, and we had to wait another 40 min to take a shower.After speaking with a manager the day after, we were compensated with a 30% for any spa treatment we will choose.2. The following day while resting in the room, the air conditioning was pouring dripping.On the third day we changed our room, and what a surprise, the boiler was broken, again, and we had to wait for the maintenance for an hour and fifteen minutes, to take a dissent shower (at a five star hotel).But the best is yet to come:3. Because it was our honeymoon, we recived a voucher for a romantic dinner at the hotel restaurant, which is separated from the main dining room.On the invitation for dinner was written kindly note, drinks will follow your meal plan.While at dinner, we were offered alcoholic drinks.We specifically asked the waitress TWICE, if the alcoholic drinks are inckuded in the voucher, and the answer was yes, so we ordered one cocktail for each person as was told to us. When dinner was over, we were billed by these cocktails, claiming that since we are not full board but only half board, the drinks are not for free. However, we were never asked by any staff member for our accommodation arrangements, even when we asked the waitress specifically (as mentioned before). The check amonted to USD 40, which we did not plan the spend unless we were told it is included in the voucher.When we asked to speak with the manager, both managers we spoke with were rude, impolite, offensive and completely destroyed the good memories i created while staying in Zanzibar.Not to mention that when we refused to pay the 40 USD, the managers kept us hostage and prevented us from going to the airport for our flight.I would recommend everyone to stay away from the Gold hotel!!

Fools Gold more than real GoldSo I noticed my original review previously has been deleted back from 2017 so re uploading it, hopefully it has changed since but i find it unlikely if the management is still the same.To start to get there its a bumpy, of the beaten track road through some poor areas and then BAM a resort. Quite the juxtaposition and a gorgeous reception. But after that its fairly meh.Rooms are ok, no information in the booklet, had nothing in it, just an empty folder, sloppy paint work. Patches of paint missing or on the floor, open concrete hole on the bedside. There was some lovely hand carved work in the bathroom with paint smears and the toilet didnt look complete. Showers main head went from frigid cold to scalding hot without touching the temp handle. Broken hairdryer and asked for a replacement and never came. cleaning buckets and mops etc left under the stains and paint eveywhere on the ground around the walls.The area seems nice but its very dull, nothing really happening, bar was dead and expensive 5 usd for the local beers and if you go right at the beach to the other bar its 2.5 usd. The gym was just in a normal bedroom and they had some treadmills thereManagement seem very cold and it seems like they rule the local workers with an iron fist and elitism. Really didnt enjoy the stay there, it felt sterile and cold not somewhere either myself of my girlfriend could relax inFor all the money it would rake in on being overpriced they havnt done a thing for the local area even leading to the resort.But on the pro side;the local staff were lovely and very caring, even with some guests bing rude. All the praise to themThe food service was was very good and an egg and nut allergy looked after by the food manager.But overall I wouldnt stay there again

Bad service - booking wasn’t honored - communication was not clear - I was supposed to have a sea view room and they didn’t honor it because they got busy.

The resort Manager Mr Tuan, Jackson & Ali Makaba went out of their way to ensure we had an amazing and unforgettable experience. The staff at the resort are friendly and very helpful. Incredible.Location- this hotel has access to the best beach on the island. Clean, white sand with stunningly clear water. The sun set over the horizon of the sea making it a spot that other people visit when staying elsewhere on the island.Staff- exceptional customer service. They go above and beyond, super friendly and helpful.Food- most food was good but the Indian options were 10/10. Real Authentic great tasting curries. The breakfast was my least favourite as it was lacking in options however they have an omelette station, delicious juices and fruit.Other - the hotel sprays the room with bug repellent. I wasn’t bitten once ! The resort is stunning worth every penny. Would highly recommend doing all inclusive as there aren’t any local restaurants to go to and you’ll end up eating in the resort anyway. The excursions to see the island are well worth it especially going to the sandbank. It’s is in a stunning location with extremely hot weather. The pool is clean and looks very nice as is the beach. The rooms are luxurious and well maintained.

Right now in this Golden Zanzibar hotel, we are disappointed with everything, the atmosphere of the hotel and the serviceThe food is absolutely tasteless and limited, this is a retirement hotel there is no entertainment, the background music is barely audible, the price is very high, as the beach is not that special for the money, the Dominican Republic is 100 times better, brighter ....Tour operators create a stir, Zanzibar is worth going to 3-4 * but not hereSomeone will say paradise, you just havent seen paradise. Its beautiful but not for the money we paidIf you want to go to Zanzibar, it’s easier to take a hotel, but I will never go here 2 times

Superb hotel, great location and very clean, soundproof and spacious room. Varied and above all excellent morning and evening buffet. Well done to the team. However, it is important to specify that the Gold restaurant is chargeable and not specified on the site. The excursions via the hotel are very expensive, it is better to manage otherwise, lack of staff who speak French too bad.

Very good location and beach, welcoming and smiling staff, the restaurant and its chef at the top, varied and good quality cuisine, the only thing to improve would be a more extensive shop that takes the Bank Card. Otherwise very good stay.

Super well located hotel with a sublime beach. The rooms with sea view are very spacious and very clean.The food is excellent and varied. Poolside meals are organized and provide a wonderful setting for dining.The staff are very attentive.The negative point is not enough staff who speak French and access to the hotel where there is no road but an impassable path.

Hotel which deserves its 5 stars. Absolutely nothing to complain about, everyone is very caring, pleasant, smiling and everything is super well organized. Lots of couples because the place lends itself to it, very romantic, quiet. Always varied and excellent meals, decorations and themed evenings that change every day. Absolutely perfect honeymoon couple trip, thank you!

The best beach in all of Zanzibar. We stayed in the terrace suite room on a half board basis and it was well worth it. To improve nighttime activities since at 23:00 they cut all the music and review in detail everything you are consuming if you do not go all-inclusive since they get a bit of a mess when checking out.

The hotel is incredible, they take care of all the details both the staff and the facilities.Special mention must be made of the food, in the buffet area they are super attentive and the food is delicious. They also have a separate à la carte restaurant where what they cook well can be on a par with the great European restaurants.You can only put one but and that is that between the hotel and the beach every time you want to swim there is a herd of people trying to sell you something without letting you enjoy the place (believe that it is unbearable), it is the only thing that I would not return to Zanzibar.

Only downside, public beach and therefore we get accosted every 2 meters to sell us something when we just want to go swimming, its tiring but the hotel cant do anything about it ...
