Nice and comfortable place, close to the beach (10 minutes walk) and with shuttle bus service. Good and generous food buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Fruit and snacks during the morning and afternoon. Very kind staff, clean rooms and pool on-site the hotel. Weak wifi spead and coverage and maybe also a little to crowdy, in a way less is more, but we did pass a very nice time.

Friendly staff made our stay OK. The location is set away from the beach, a 10 min walk or a short bumpy ride with the free shuttle that is provided between the resort and the beach until 22.30. We tried a buffet dinner which offered a good variety of food and priced at 10 $ is a good offer. We also had lunch on the beach where the resort also operates a restaurant. Had some pasta which was alright. Breakfast was a disappointment one particular morning with most fruit finished and lousy instant coffee. Not to mention the watered down cordial that was offered as fruit juice. In a country where fresh fruits are available in abundance and where great coffee is grown, theres no excuse for not offering fresh fruit juice and coffee to their guests.

I don’t know what this ban is connected with, maybe there were precedents.At the bar, you need to be very careful, they can sell you free cola or water.The food is delicious, there are no questions about this, well done. At the reception, dollars can be exchanged for shillings. Take your time at the airport to exchange a lot of dollars for shillings !!! We didnt really need shillings.The pool is nice.The sea is cool; safari - super, I advise; excursion to Stoun-town is normal, but not enough, in my opinion, there is where to climb, very colorful. Good evening, just got back on Tuesday evening from a great vacation with my family at this resort in Kendwa. I highly recommend it, clean zanzibarine style rooms, breakfast with croissants, biscuits, bread etc. eggs, milk, coffee, tea, herbal teas, yoghurt, fruit, lunch at the beach restaurant, dinner at the resort and the food is good. The staff is super nice, there is Adriana who is Italian and local staff Jamilah who when its time for lunch and dinner calls people saying yum yum, Giacomino and Abdallah Makame are special people they speak Italian well and for any problem you can turn to them who will help you with their kindness. The resort is about 500 meters from the beach. the road is not very nice to go, but there is a very comfortable shuttle service with a Palumbo Dalla pickup truck that takes you to the beach and you pass through their village where there are many children who say jambo (hello) and always with a smile on his mouth and at any time he brings you back to the village. In the evening there is almost always some entertainment with acrobats, Masai and more. Palumbo Kendwa is a boutique hotel, with 30 rooms total. Great for those who dont want to go to the villages with so many people. My husband and I chose it as the second part of the honeymoon. Staff always kind and ready to help you in everything. Although there is no entertainment in the evening they organize shows with dancers, acrobats, Masai and percussion. Good food to be abroad. Pasta does it very well. The beach is the most beautiful and fortunately a part is private of the village.

Simple Boutique Hotel, decorated with Swahili items. Nice pool, but unused by most of the guests, with such a beautiful sea you hardly go to the pool.Mainly Italian and Russian guests.Good, well-finished and tasty food (remember to be in Africa in a mid-range hotel)Huge and clean rooms, linen change every two days, air conditioning and ceiling fan, specifically I had a sea view room, chosen not knowing that almost all the rooms on the upper floors have a sea view.The distance from the beach is really minimal, there is a shuttle (dala dala) that covers the route but it is certainly more comfortable to walk down through the fishing village (the route is really short but with the minibus that must pass through a course full of holes and it becomes really uncomfortable)Excursions offered by the hotel are all beautiful, I must say that for almost all of them you have to go south (Stone Town) to embark and that you always spend almost 90 minutes (sometimes even more) of transfer to and fro and this makes it all a bit tiring.I recommend the excursion to Nakupenda, Stone Town and Jozani Forest. I want to underline the fact that Kendwa is an excursion destination for other villages and deserves to be experienced to the fullest.The beach boys are a little pushy but just kindly tell them not to be interested in shopping and a bit like it happens on our Italian beaches it ends there.

I stayed in this hotel at the end of November with my husband it was an amazing holiday .. crystal clear sea .. white sand and what about sunsets .... for the excursions we relied on Ronaldo known on the beach (fun and competent character) I recommend it especially to those who want to live a unique experience in contact with a still untouched nature .... vote 10 with praise the most beautiful vacation I have ever had ....
