Had no supplies in our room, no soap, hand towels or complimentary water bottles. Had to ask for it. The mattress on the sunbed was dirty with dried bird pooh. Had to get it cleaned. The food was awful. Ordered beef burger and wings ,did not have wings. Instead gave us a half fried chicken which was not cooked properly. The burger bread was all soggy. It took two hours for them to prepare beef burger and chicken. They had no coffee except for instant coffee, the machine was not working. Instead of being a relaxing holiday. It was very stressful. They were just Catering to the guests who had come for the day trip.

Went here after reading some good reviews. Its a small place on the beach side. Swimming pool wasnt so big, it could be used just for relaxing. The reason I gave 2 stars is; when they saw that we are foreigners they gave us list of prices in usd for the entrance. When asked if they dont have tsh entrance fee he did some calculation and exchanged usd to tsh. Im quite sure you cant do that with tanzanian visitors. Being a resident and living in tz knowing all the places having entrance fees in tsh... It felt fishy and didnt feel comfortable being treated as foreigner...

Dirty swimming pool.Attemdant lied that they will clean it but untill i was leaving in tye evening it was still dirty.Other people left when they also saw a dirty swimming pool.

Went there for a lunch today. Beach view is amazing however, every thing else was a let down. There were 3 other guests at 1 pm when we reached, DJ was playing music super loud as if there was a crowd of over a 100. We asked for the music to be turned down a bit since 5 minutes in, we started getting a headache and wanted to leave. Dj turned the music down for a song and then went super loud again. Three more requests and it continued in the same pattern. I guess DJ was following instructions from management to keep music volume loud but clearly it wasn’t working.We asked to drinks and they came out perfect. Staff was smiling and helpful. We asked for grilled prawns, a boneless barbecued fish and a pizza. Prawns were not de-veined properly but tasted good, the fish was a whole fish with bones and when we asked for boneless fish / filet, chef was called who took the dish back. This fish was then changed to a tuna which smelt real bad upon return. We did not even tough the fish. Pizza was the only savior for the day . Not Italian but a Zanzibari version of the pizza . Tasted good.The bill came to 76,000 including a fish that we did not even touch. I am sure most places would knock off the fish from the bill since it was left untouched.staff returned saying change wasn’t available and she needed more time to give our change back. We left without getting change and TRa receipt.Paid 5,000 each entry fee for a place that definitely we won’t visit again . Oh yes the menu was dog eared and almost invisible to read as well. Furniture definitely needs some cushions as it’s impossible to sit on hard wood after 30 minutes.

We stayed here for a night.. we wish we hadnt! Terrible food, poor waiter services, very pricey food, barely able to satisfy a person, pricey hotel rooms not worth the money! Its just a beach front resort with nothing else to show. Actually, the beach is a public beach, accessible by anyone.My last time here. Just visit here if you are willing to spend dollars for nothing.

Very poor service. We went there thinking the charges are inclusive of swimming but it wasnt the case. We left the place after staying for a few hours. Though they refunded me my entrance fees they showed no remorse and didnt even bother apologizing for providing such poor service. This is my first and last visit to this place

Stayed here for a weekend and it was very disappointing. Very terrible food, realy bad service, I mean like the worst service I have received in Dar es salaam. It probably had its better days but I would not recomend this place.

Confortable clean bedrooms with brand new furniture, fan and air-conditioning. They have an automated generator that quickly starts if theres a power failure so no problem with the heat during the night. Swimming pool is great but needs more shade around it to be able to spend the day there. Staff and owners are putting a big effort to make sure everything is pleasant for their guests. It was fun to watch the fishermen arriving all day long in the beach in front of the hotel. The food was just okay and costs around 15k for the plate. Good getaway for Dar es Salaam inhabitants.

Good quality rooms, close to the beach, children friendly pool. Overall a good place. But do you want something from the restaurant you will have to wait an hour or more.

All good except loud music disturbing

The place is nice to visit although it has small area but it is nice place but some of the things were not okay the beach mattress were charged if you want to use them and it was so expensive so they werw there getting old without any use. The food is nice there and at a reasonable price and the swimming is magnificent

Spent a night here on the Nyerere Day long weekend..We booked a family room for 4 people.. it had 2 beds separated like a room inside a room..It had a nice causy washroom and a huge balcony with a sea view..The view from our room was amazing.. we could see the whole lodge and the sea from there..Luckily it was a full moon so the pics from ul there came out amazing.Breakfast was provided with the room. We ate til our tummys were full..They had omlete, fruits, pan cakes and sausages.Thier pool is a bit small.. as my one or tow strokes could reach the shallow part of the pool.Thier beach and sand is amazing..Fisherman from nearby park their boats outside and leave for fishing at night and come back in the morning.Definitely a place to go for a weekend relaxation.

The food was good but the service was horrible. Wait staff were disinterested and impolite, bathrooms were not regularly cleaned. Disappointing. Would not go again for a day visit, although people staying overnight and possess less melanin might be treated better.

The place is nice. Good pool, good environment for having a drink or even work. The challenge is, the washroom is very small for all people they are getting and they dont have a place for changing clothes ( you need to change the clothes in the same bathroom) also they have unnecessary charges + regulations which they dont tell you before and they are not TAXED by the Govt of Tanzania.Example: the chairs near the pool, you need to pay 10,000Tshs for you to use them.Time for staying in the pool is until 18PM.

We had a great time, kids had fun in the swimming pool. Best service.

Nice, lively place. Good food, fresh fish from the neighbouring fish market. Although the time it takes the kitchen to prepare the food is too long.I would consider this a more local place if you are a tourist from Europe.All in all, a must to visit, tourist-wise.

This is a very nice beach place; its clean, the bar is lively with good music, live tv for sports events on weekends and the premise is decorated with nice art work. Its properly managed and the staff are friendly too. Prices for drinks and food are great for budget spenders, but the accommodation seems a little bit pricey for locals, but foreigners wont have much complaints.I recommend this place for a small group hang out.
