This could be a nice weekend gateway from the bustling Dar city.Super chilled with a big pool and access to clean, wide beach.If not booking accommodation, youll have to pay a fee to access the beach and pool.

Entrance fee is affordable but you will be charged again just for using the swimming pool!They could try put in an effort to clean up their beach.The food is a bit expensive and small portions too. The shower cubicles in the change rooms especially the Ladies side are poorly maintained.The play area for children need regular maintenance to avoid any accidents for kids! I wouldnt return unless they up their game. other places like kunduchi and Kipepeo are way better.

The place is amazing , customer care on point, a very attractive environment affordable prices for entrance, swimming, and menu . I really enjoyed being there .

The resort itself is pretty cool, it costs 5000 to enter and 5000 to swim in the pool. Theres a rest and beach chairs. The beach is pretty but the water is full of drifting seaweed that rubs on you. I didnt like it, but I bet if you go out far enough its okay. The water temp is perfect. The water is not their fault, the while shore is this way.

The plan was once very cool over a couple of years ago. I visited again with a group expecting the same but I was totally dissapointed. The meals were not fresh at all, beef, chicken, fish were all left over from the previous buffets I guess. The pool is poorly maintained, cloudy water, slippery floor and more. The toilets and changing rooms are smelling urine. In short the places hygienic condition is doubtful. This should act as a wake up call to improve.

We enjoyed our stay at kijiji beach. The rooms were clean and the staff super friendly. The owner and his wife seem hands on. Only thing I didnt like was how crowded the swimming pool got on weekends and the loud music as outsiders can pay and swim. The food was delicious but took too long to prepare.Overall it was a good stay and the kids enjoyed themselves thoroughly. The garden is beautiful....loved loved loved the greenery.

I called the resort to book a room but the staff was not helpful at all and told me they would call back. I never received the call. I even left a message. Disapponting experience.

The goat pilau is excellent, I can really recommend it.The ladies showers and toilets are not okay. I have been there several times and every time something is not okay (toilet fluded, water not running off in the shower, toilet door not closing). Clearly poor planing.The pool is very nice for kids as well and the personnel is friendly but sometimes hard to find.

What can I say about Kijiji Beach Resort, I had the honor of staying there for several days. If I could give more the than 5 stars I’d give 10. The room was amazingly clean, bed was extremely comfortable, food was amazing, though I’m a vegetarian but chef Mussa made the best vegetarian curry.What can I say more about Yohani Harmao, one of the most remarkable staff member I’ve met. He was always everywhere making sure everything and everyone has what is needed and is happy. All staff members had such passion for their job. There’s nothing I can say other than give my gratitude and appreciation to all the remarkable staff members.I LOVED MY STAY THERE and I highly recommend it.Thank you so much to all.See you soon. Stayed here over the weekend, it was a great experience really. The rooms were well kept, the bathrooms were clean, the AC was functional, the swimming pool is good for a bit of unwinding but isnt that big for doing exercise. In conclusion everything is superb from the music to the food but the only downside is that they need to work on the service which was really slow and the WIFI needs improvement it doesnt have a long range😥 apart from that would definitely reccomend it for something like a weekend getaway. 😁

The place is cool and good but lack of customer service.No water in the toilet and no one to help.I wanted to have fun with my friend for birthday dinner but no clean toilets on Thursday this week.You need improvement on customer service. Its the reason of your establishment to serve customer above their expectation. I asked for suggestion box to put my felling about your service unfortunately the guy at reception told me you dont.My advise take note of customer feedback for maximizing profit.I will be coming as you cant lose friend for one mistake. Hope things will be waw!

It is cool place but do not have mobile transaction facilities.

It’s a beach resort along Indian Ocean. Delicious food. Slow and nice musics during weekends until late hours. This place is ideal for families. Their is also swimming pool 🏊 and rooms so it’s good for holidays and long stay. Adequate parking space with local guards. Sometime during night there is beach fire 🔥 as you can see in some photographs.

The owner is trying to revive the place, as it burned to the ground last year.The food is good and there is a bar at the beach with lovely staff.Pool area is okay and the new bandas look nice.Really quite nowadays but I think that this is a nice place to go for a weekend getaway or just a beer at the beach.

Its a great and reasonable beach resort.. we went there in the new years day.. it got crowded in the evening in the pool as the tides were down..They could improve on their services on food and washrooms .But greatly preserved..If you want to enjoy it. Go early in the morning and leave before it gets crowded

The pool guy (Brighton) was super rude. He wouldnt let me chill by the pool side because my one year old baby boy was swimming with his dad and at the same time calling for me- his mom. Even the way he was instructing other people who were with me who paid to use the pool, he did so in a very rude manner. Kudos to the waiter (Alex) who apologized for the altercations and provided excellent customer service.The pool guys attitude was so out of order and completely uncalled for.

Nice chill-out spot for friends and fam. Decent sea views, a cool breeze and sandy beaches (with a ton of seaweed, but that might be seasonal).Gets packed on weekends / public holidays - lots of families and kids mucking about in the pool, so heads up if crowds and noise are not your thing. DJs right by the sea so expect a ton of super loud Afrobeat-type sets.Foods good. Had wood-fired pizza with a lovely thin crust (20K, large enough for two). Friends had a couple of salads. Rates reasonable across the board (5 to 25K).Services okay. Slow start, but gets better once you have a waiters attention. Food was quick off the kitchen. No cocktails though, and theres a cover charge (5K per head) so be ready.

Nice resort relaxing atmosphere good facilities including swimming pool. But watch out you get charged for filming and photos. Stupid policy with spoils the experience of a good get away.

We went to spend an afternoon on the beach before being back in busy Dar. Nice food and very good service by the only waiter at work. Beach is nice and allows for good swimming. Its also close to the mangroves so its possible to take a boat and go get a glimpse of them.

Nice place... I didnt like the masai who are security. I parked my car and found him at my window for no reason. When I was seating at the beach the came sitting beside... I couldnt even had a private conversation. But generally the place is acceptable

We paid 5000 tzs per person to enter the beach. Unfortunately the beach was very shallow, full of sharp rocks and we were bleeding within a few minutes of walking in the ocean. We walked quite some distance along the beach to find a suitable place to swim but could not. Thus we decided to swim in the pool.Within a few minutes of being in the pool one of the associates asked us for our wristband. We told him we paid the lady at the front desk but she did not give us a wristband. He went to discuss with his colleagues and then told us we have to pay 5000 Tzs each to be able to swim in pool as there is a separate charge from the beach. We decided to leave as we did not want to pay additional money.The swimming pool was unclean with visible debris. The change room facilities were poorly maintained, there was nowhere to hang clothes, the doors of change rooms did not lock and there were insects, spider webs and dust everywhere.We spent quite some time getting to this beach from Dar so it was a very disappointing experience overall.

Other than being at the beach and fairly good pool, this place has very poor service... Very very poor service. You could sit for hours and never get noticed by either the waiter or even management.This Saturday 22nd December 2018 I was there, as I had learned not to expect much from this place. I sat at one of their thatched shade for at least three hours, and dear Lord.. No one noticed I was there. One thing and one thing only that keeps taking me there... View of the fullmoon rising from the eastern horizon. Other than that I wouldnt have ever gone back there

Beautiful beach resort which is a few kilometers from the Kigamboni ferry. Was surprised at the entry fee requirement to access the premises but is a great price to pay for the brilliant view of the ocean and beach.It has a great swimming pool and an area just next to the beach with where people can either play football or volleyball. The beach is mostly private.

Quite, Relaxing, Nice food, Free WiFi, Clean Swimming pool and The nature surrounding it is excellent.One thing that i found weird is for a big hotel like that to not have Fresh Fruit juices.

Very poor customer services. The reception lady was very arrogant to customers. At the entrance they wrote children below 9yrs do not pay swimming fee but my kid who is 8yrs was required to pay. The lady was so arrogant and did not care.

Not a customer service oriented place to go.Being a Christmas holiday, they were not ready to Handel the crowd,food option was minimal reduced to just chips, rostedchicken, rice ...No option for veggies, experienced staff was short, had hired temp.staff to manage the crowd and was very visible,drinks were not chilled ,overall a no no for next outing, may be they can Handel only few.guest bit food option , its a nightmare with open cooking in wooden fire ,primitive style.

The place is good and enjoyable except the financial service should be improvied by addition of small service like Tigo pesa ,Mpesa,Airtel money and such others also they can buld smalls hats for people to rest and not must be it hotel just small huts for two people with showers and other needs but so far thats my place usually go since was 17years old

The toilets were very dirty, the place is disorganized and the swimming pool doesnt have a place for kids

It is a nice place ..but I will never forget how robber came inside the room in the night (around 3:00) and took everything from us ,,our money..mobile phones etc. They left us empty,, we screamed no body came at that moment while the hotel has more than 4 security guard in the end they came late after one hour 😢😢. The owner needs to be careful with whom he employes.

Its good,BUT KIDS SHOULD NOT BE CHARGED 5000 FOR ENTRANCE.I invite my friend with his wife and three babies,they had to leave the place because of the entrance of 5000 for their kids.

Basing on the current business dilemna, I couldnt see the reason for you to impose entrance fee to your customers. You should find how to carter the existing competition. If someone has chosen to come at your place find a better way to encourage him or her so that the possibility of coming again next time is assured.

The resort is situated right by the beach side. Very nice place but they have got staff shortage. To make sure your order is in place you need to double check with the closest counter. Staff are nice they even go the extra mile to get the job done. But professional training doesnt exist. One good example is thst I have ordered a cup of Coffee which they didnt have in their premise but they took the order accept payment for one of their staff member to go and get the coffee from our side. I waited 45 min while watching footie. It never came. Then went to ask the situation that is when they told me someone went to get the coffee from outside. After that waited 30 more min to get my coffee. Staff are nice but they need to be trained properly. Apart from that you need to be prepared to pay entrance fee of TSh 5000 equivalent to $ 2.3 USD.
