One of the Biggest swimming pool i habe encountered in DSM. Swimming pool and beach side has different enterance. Has small huts for the visitors to sit in shade. The beach is clean. The food is nice and reasonably priced. Entrance for the beach is 10,000 and for swimming pool its 15,000.

Had a beautiful weekend getaway there with my family. Our room was spacious and clean. Their pool is so huge and tidy.The ambience was great. The food were superb. The hospitality was out of this world. Big thanx to one of the managers Anu, for making our stay there beautiful and memorable.Keep up the good work guys.

It could be the perfect getaway for Dar Es Salaam residents: beautiful beach, restaurant under the coconut trees, pleasant place. Unfortunately they think its a good idea to put incredibly loud music every Saturday and Sunday. Really, such a pity.... Its unbearable! If you want to relax and enjoy the beach, skip this place, really!

Very good accommodation but very poor food. The hotel need to improve on food quality. I stayed here for 26 days but went for breakfast less than 5 times having taken a bed and breakfast option. There main meals were poorly prepared. Laundry services delay alot. It takes up to 3 full days for the clothes to be delivered back. They however have very nice large swimming pool with great white sand beaches. Their staffs are nice with kind and mindful hearts.

Service is very slow and needs a lot of work. Swimming pool has no privacy for changing. Restaurant is overpriced for the quality of food served. Some rooms had no running water and others had no working ACs. The public toilet ran out of water.

The music is too loud. And they are poor in menu also the price of beverage is expensive.

It is a first resort property they ever visited. rooms are dirty with no blankets and towels no arrangement of tea or coffee in the morning. Staff behavior is very bad. We do not advise any body to visit this resort ...No actions taken and we experienced the same poor/lousy service :(,Room phones not working, staff are rude and seem like they are being forced to work, rooms don’t get cleaned despite requesting and many more issues...Sunrise was once the place to go years back but now it’s definitely not I’m sorry to say.

Manager n staff has such a huge attitude n ego issues, theyre fine taking ure money , once u have paid, they come with all funny rules, and will try to get physical if u dont agree to there so called rules , even with women, worst place worst sunday experience, id giv is -5 stars

The staff are very rude and misbehaved and manhandled with women and also denied food for kids.They took our money for tickets after accepting for carrying food for kidsyet again denied it at the entrance and manhandled my mother who is elderlyI suggest NEVER VISIT SUNRISE BEACH .

Place with beautiful beach and swimming pool, place where weekends can be spend with family and friends.Entry is not free but its nominal ,out side food not allowed but you can get in normal prices.

Please dont waste your money and your time here. Unprofessional service. The new rooms are very well built but no certain time to check in, no towel, something no water in washrooms and sometime water clogs in washroom. The breakfast was horrible. We reached around 9.30pm and almost everything was finished. We had to literally go to the counter and ask for some food.A complete waste of money, time and spoiled holiday.

The pool is great rooms are excellent. Indian Food is good. House cleaners are polite the waiters also. Overall the hotel is great just one thing without forgetting THE SERVICES ARE VERY SLOW as in if u order food it come after an hour or more while the waiters claim 20 minutes and the FOOD PORTIONS AS IN RICE AND FRIES IS LESS.

Lazy service. Wanted to have some lunch, took over one hour to get it. And because the owners are Indian I thought that the Indian food would be good, I got shrimps with fries...So, apart from the food it is a nice place to stay, secure, close to the beach but the beer is cheaper at the place 200 meters to the north.

Its a Paradise just at the beautiful scenery of the Indian ocean .it has some white sand around it and a beautiful sunrise view it is in kigamboni the island part of dar accessible by a government ferry it has a swimming pool and some beautiful sorroundings a bar and restaurant it also has some good stuff .a place you need for relaxing

We visited for vacation with friends and family. It was a nice place, Hotel rooms are clean, specifically new ones.Staff is helpful and courteous. Good food and snacks available as per choice on order. It has a nice swimming pool, few water slides for kids, live DJ at evening, a restaurant and so on. Prices are competitive.

This place is so cool and clean everywhere, I have been visiting this place for so many times. I really like this place and its my favorite place to go whenever I feel to refresh my mind. Your customer service is good, your food is good and affordable I really enjoy being around this place.

Amazing place

Its quite a lovely place and the deluxe rooms will suit couples. The beach is awesome though it may get a little crowded at around midday which serves to demonstrate its popularity I believe. Breakfast for overnight stayers. Dinner is awesome. Havent had a bout of food poisoning so thats a plus! Staff is very helpful. Great place overall. Will definitely come back for more.

Nice and great place for relaxing.

Basically the best swimming pool in Daresalaam so far. Located in mjimwema, Kigamboni its not a far drive from the ferry and so can be easily reached. Ive taken this place to be underrated so far and i urge more people to actually visit this beauty. Though the pool and beach are great...their pool facilities such as the changing rooms are a bit behind.

Enjoyable and relaxing area

I have stayed at this resort several time and the last time i stayed was in the new year. The current management is horrible, unprofessional, and choose to help only the people they know. I am not going there again.

Amazing place for beach vacation.

The ambiance the view everything about the place was just right for an afternoon with my family.. though I would advise them to improve their food they trully do not have a good chef .. we ordered quiet a variety from the menu and nothing was yum enough for me to say Ill come back for the food.

This beach resort is perfect for both budget and mid-range travelers. There are permanent tents to camp out on the beach, or small rooms to rent. The ocean is amazingly beautiful, and on the weekends the whole beach becomes a parts around the outdoor bar. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Dar and seeking a beach/resort experience.

Suite rooms are clean and comfortable. And having the pool in the center of the building is very convenient.The continental breakfast is simple but complete.

We wait 3 hours for ours meals and it was awful soo spicy that we couldnt eat it. The service was horrible, when we reclaim they said they are gonna give us some free drinks and after that they charged the drink. Dont go to this place ever.

Had a very good family day out. However very disappointing that a hotel like this do not have a baby changing facility and after arguing with the manager that I cannot put my daughter on a tile surface to change her (risk of banging her head) I was kindly given a room for a few mins to change her.

Great Beach resort.. swimming pool is amazing with plenty of deepend area and wide enough for people to scatter.Entrance fee is worthed if swimming pool option is taken.Huts and chairs are available if you reach there early enough..It becomes crowded in the afternoon/ evening..

Pretty nice place to go for the day.

This place has one of the decent beaches close to Dar Essalaam city center. It is located around 20mins from the main city if you use the ferry and 40min if you use the bridge. They have a very nice pool with a baby pool for children, they also have rooms available for night outs.The cons: Price of admission keeps fluctuating, but its still reasonable Tsh 10000 to use the pool and the beach. Their restaurant service is poor especially at the pool side, we had to wait hours before the food was brought. There is a small pool with some jacuzzi like effect that is never turned on even when you ask them to, they always find an excuse ( I have asked on 6 separate occasions now ).

I would rather enter the elm Street in my worst nightmare than their (sunrise) washrooms and changing rooms

Nice environment, good food, nice service, but our experience at cottages by the pool side was not pleasant. There were too many mosquitoes in that cottage; and one of the windows seemed to have a hole.

From time I have been visiting this place especially on weekends, it attracts crowd from different places around dar es salaam, we also had one company event and it was lovely place to be, it has a big swimming pool and also good food available without forgetting beach sports, its a place to visit weekdays will be such a good choice

We went on a Sunday, after paying Tsh10000 entrance we were welcomed to the beach side by friendly staff.We were somehow trying to get comfortable on the plastic chairs when all of sudden we were bombarded with loud music. Was a mood spoiler. Beach was ok.We left within half hour.Btw you pay Tsh 10000 extra if you want to use the swimming pool which is on the other side.** star for the staff

Ive ordered sea food platter for 44000tsh. But they say prawns are not available and suggested to substitute them with kingfish or calamari that are cheaper. I suggested they substitute it with baby lobster that are of the same price. They refused. So i think they try to foolish customers while selling a sea food platter for 44 000 but the value of this sea food is lower. A kg of prawns cost at around 35000 tsh, calamari 15000, ling fish 8000. The person i talked to in vain is manager Joseph.

One among the myriad of such resorts in KigamboniIt gets abit too crowded on any given sunday or holiday and the food gets delayed or not too well cooked.My advice if you can take the day off, go there on a working day if youre into peace and quiet and such like, otherwise look up the smaller resorts dotted along that beautiful coast for a less frenetic escapade, e.g my favorite: Kijiji Beach Resort.

They took all the money for 2 tent . But they gave mattresses after 8 hrs from check in time . Also there is no time table for lunch dinner . Service is too bad
