The place is good for typical Chinese food! Rice and noodles is real good ! For vegetarian , spring rolls are not available usually but black mushroom is usually good with rice or noodles ! The service is good , staff is ok , the place is quite hot so make sure you sit next to the fan for good air !
Fantastic food. We had egg fried rice and beef in black bean sauce. More than enough for two of us. Had deep fried prawns too, nice sweet and sour sauce to go with them. Took takeaway and enjoyed every last bite 🤩
Absoloutely Outstanding.Thoroughly enjoyed the food : had ordered lamb in hot pot, chicken with prawns and mushroom soups. In fact we order a couple of extra dishes with the expectation that if maybe one or two of them turns out to be a disaster then the other ones will be good to go.Very pleasantly surprised to find ALL the items were good !In fact it was such a great relief to find authentic Chinese in the city center : we were not sure how it would be in the new avatar after the restaurant shifted and were half expecting some kind of Indian or Pakistani Chinese !Thank God it still us the authentic stuff and really delicious.
A long time fixture in the city center and popular with the local Chinese community, it recently moved to a new and nicer building. The food, service, decor and prices are all good. The woman in charge is very attentive, and will serve you well.
Loved their food, delicious! Sweet and sour chicken is my favorite, as well as beef with black bean sauce!
I am not big fan of chinese food, but i have been to many other chinese place with good food. Here, some items that i would love to have was not available. Reasoning was ambigous.
Beef in blackabeensawsse my favourite! Shelly does a commendable job with their Beef in Black Bean Sauce. Sweet and sour chicken takes longer but really worth the wait. With steamed rice. Of course!
Shirley knows what we like she listens and serves however when its crowded the service become a a little hectic. The dishes ate excellent and tasty. They did inform that Zabiha halal meat is used and separate utensils also for the same.
Its ma fav raustrant :^) yall should try it trust me ;^)
Good service, good food.. plentiful helpings, authentic Chinese cuisine.
Best Chinese in town. For almost 16 years if Im not wrong their taste of food is the same...
Authentic and tasty Chinese cuisine. The portions are really big and the prices are affordable.
If you’ve ever lived in Hong Kong, the food here will bring you straight back. Superb authentic Cantonese cuisine - had lunch here, then came back for dinner AND booked an early breakfast for tomorrow before leaving Dars. The skilled Chinese chef prepared the fresh steamed fish (with the backbone removed) in record time. If you speak Cantonese or Mandarin, you can pretty much order without the menu. Ignore the decor as renovations are planned. Highly recommended.
Excellent Chinese food! Reasonably priced! Good quality, and great taste and quality! Worth repeated visits!
Good place but just need to have better air ventilation and circulation system as its smelt awful
Very good food. Value for money portions, delicious crispy fish, mapu tofu and chilli crab 👍
Smelled like a dirty restroom. The food was bland and uniform (the 红烧鱼 was served in the same sauce as the beef mushroom, which did not come with the correct mushroom). Stay away.
Bad is so selfish,no food if not a Chinese
Try their fried rice and sweet and sour chicken. Really really good but no spring rolls... :p
Maybe im not into chinese food...tried it for the first time cant say i liked it...but i ate it so 😊. However the soup was 👌.
Good food, especially their chowmein! Oh and the soups too, amazing!
Average at best. Food is on the expensive side. Owner is friendly enough, however.
Nice Chinese plats there
Probably the best authentic Chinese food in Dar. The ambience lets down sometimes and staff are overworked at times and can take time for simple requests
Nice and cosy place to eat.Food also tasty.
The nicest Chinese food in Dar Es Salaam. But the place quite little and hard to parking your car.
Great food. Authentic Chinese. Ambience could do with some improvements
Worst possible customer service, sat waiting to be attended to for 30mins, only to be told we are closed at 8pm on a Friday night. Clearly , pathetic!
Lunch menu was very affordable delicious mapo tofu
Service and food excellent. If you dont mind the smoke of cigarettes and the heat
The taste is just fine. The price is high but the size is very small.

It was first attracted by Taihes hot pot, especially the authentic Cantonese-style Chaoshan hot pot, which is very light and has a delicious soup base. Drink the soup first and then eat the dishes. The hand-made beef balls in the store have a special fragrance with tangerine peel, and the beef, shrimp and crab are very fresh, but there are too few types.Later, I tried the stir-fry, and I was very satisfied with these dishes. Facai soup was delicious! Special tofu is a must! ! Super tender, the thickened soup on the outside is sweet and the shredded chicken is also recommended by most people, but it feels oily...most of the dishes are sweet
First, it is clean and the manager is friendly.Second, the food is not salty, the taste is very clean, and it suits the taste of Koreans well.Third, I feel like I want to go back
There is one highly qualified local staff. Clerk who worked so swiftly in that way has never seen it in Japan.Chinese food was a bit high with 550 shillings at lunch menu, but it was delicious as usual. There is one highly qualified local staff. He worked so hard and agile literary. I never saw staff like him even in Japan.Chinese food was a bit pricy like 550 shilling at lunch menu, but it was delicious.
The old Chinese restaurant in Dar es Salaam, Cantonese cuisine, tastes good, the price is cheap, the boss is very enthusiastic, watching you order more food will tell you too much, can not eat
Very delicious Chinese food
In general, the hot pot, chicken is not fresh, wonton is not delicious, and others are ok.
It ’s really delicious, but the price is ok.
Really delicious, Cantonese restaurant
