If you are coming to Tanzania and staying in Dar Es Salaam, this is the Best hotel by far. Me and my husband stayed in this hotel for 16 nights.Staff at check in was friendly, polite and welcoming.Very good daily breakfast with lots of selection including Asian breakfast.The Asian restaurant in the hotel (Oriental) has one of the best Asian dishes in Dar Es Salaam.Very nice infinity pool with the view of the ocean.Hotel manager, Alex is very professional and friendly, always around the hotel interacting with guests and making sure that guests are happy and comfortable during their stay.Staff in the hotel very friendly, always smiling, takes interest about your stay by engaging a conversation.Rooms are clean, bed is comfortable with proper daily house keeping services.Overall the hotel is very modern and has a nice ambience as soon as you enter. Locals often choose to use this hotel as a venue for their wedding parties or private functions.Will definitely stay in this hotel again when I travel to Dar Es Salaam.

Honestly, this hotel has decent amenities and rooms. Where it falls short is the service, however there is a new operations director David, who was very quick to rectify whatever issues we had. He went above and beyond to make the rest of our stay enjoyable so I have no doubt that in time he will seriously turn things around here. Thanks to David once again for his understanding and efforts.

Nice facilities, they have good spa service, but the main attraction is the infinity pool with a view of the sea. Even though its the port area its mostly blocked by tree planting, still great to relax or take some pics. Good drinks selection but vegetarian options are lacking in the first floor bar.The Level 8 bar (top floor) is also good for an evening coffee or drink with a 360 view of the city and the sea, havent tried the food. The service is good and quick too.

For the past two weeks, me and my wife have enjoyed staying at the hotel. Besides a great hotel in a super location with nice rooms and good facilities, the hotel has a fantastic staff. We have rarely experienced a staff so friendly, service minded and hospitable. From the front desk to the cleaners, servers, security and management; everyone was responsible for this unforgettable experience. Thank you!

Excellent hotel. The lobby is gorgeous as well as the dining hall. The breakfast is everything you would expect from A 5 star hotel and more. The bed was comfortable and the AC works well.

It was exotic and the hospitality was very nice.. theres a club very close to it, I enjoyed my stay.

Maintenance and service is awful at level 8. The ambience and location is perfect. They charge 10,000 for a small cup of coffee not value for money if the service is extremely slow.

Almost had a bad review about d services at the front desk but had a change of mind due to prompt intervention by the director of operation DAVID BADER in solving the issue. What impressed me most is the way he handle issue.....very professionally....totally impressed ....giving a five star rating as they deserve it

Great Hotel with friendly and courteous staff. Delicious, international choice of food and drinks. It has a nice rooftop bar and a terrace with a stunning view. Due to the fact, that the pool is on the first floor, you don‘t see the big road in front of the hotel.

We booked single beds and did not get single beds the check in process is long and out dated, we were taken to the wrong room and i had made the booking late last night.. once we had all the room issues i then asked to cancel to which i was told i cant cancel as i would loose my $240 paid already!! The service here is shocking and we were not even offered any alternative… the rooms are old and outdated and need refurbishment… also you cannot share these rooms with friends or family as the showers are open!Absolutely shocked by the lack of guest service!

One of the best hotel in dar es salaam. Room big, clean and big tv. Ocean view is really nice. Stuffs are very good and helpful. Food are testy specially indian food. They really do best. Swimming Pool is ok and gym are really workable.Beside this there is no option to change currency. They need more service people in breakfast time.

I had an extremely pleasant time staying here at the Kilimanjaro. Had to spend 14 days before I could enter the kingdom of Saudi 🇸🇦 and this place was ideal. Really friendly and helpful staff. Really awesome food available. Loved every moment spent here

It is a wonderful five star hotel conveniently located within the CBD of the city of Dar es Salaam. The hotel environment is so tranquil with beautiful gardens. The hotel also has a lovely view of the Indian Ocean and the Port of Dar es Salaam.

First of all, we found a mosquito in the room and we all know how dangerous is a mosquito in Tanzania, since it transmits malaria, i have 1 year old kid with me and malaria could be very dangerous for her, at the beginning i called them and told them that we have a mosquito in the room, they said that they will send someone, nobody came although we waited more than 30 min... Then we went to the reception and asked to change my room because of the mosquito, and they simply refused, they said that they cannot change the room till 12 in the morning, although they have empty rooms, the staff were very rude and unprofessional .. I am really disappointed, i thought that hyatt Regency is the only place that i can protect my family in Tanzania... If you are looking for safety and protection i dont recommend hyatt Regency!

Amazing place for the need of hotel room conference rooms with full wife

Stayed here for a month. Great customer service, the gym is big has good equipment, plenty of water, has 4 restaurants to eat at for different options, conveniently right by the ferry that goes to zanzibar! That was a plus i went. Ally bartinder/waiter for level 8 was great with his service, agnes in the morning breakfast and cafe area had great customer service as well even remembered how i liked my cereal, angela working the omlette grille always is a plus each day ! , Gabriel - night security was a great help on late night dealings! My room was cleaned well each day thanks to the cleaning staff . I really enjoyed my stay here!!.

Great Sea View rooms especially from 4/5 floor. The pool on the first floor is clean and gives you a great view to the ocean.The hotel has great layout and a great facility with great quality products.The food is good but definitely the hotel as an opportunity for improvement there both on the breakfast options given and the meals offered.Otherwise its a great experience worth staying at when in Dar visiting!!

Hyatt Regency Hotel is very good for accommodation conference good foods good services and customers care.

Clean, confortable, the rooms offer a beautiful view over the port, breakfast is really good and varied. The pool is small but beautiful, the training centre very complete and quiet modern. The room toilet is beautiful and comfortable, with adjustable lights and a brand new bath tub. Big screen TV, and perfect desk space to work.The food is delicious but a bit too spicy, the toilets in the commun areas are very bad though, no soap and no clean at all. In general a really pleasant and comfortable stay, theres room for improvement but absolutely enjoyable hotel.

I personally dont like the style of the hotel. There is a good restaurant (Oriental) but beware that after closing time (10pm) waiters will try to kick you out. For what you pay, you would expect better service. I cannot say anything about the rooms.

The staff was friendly, rooms quite big and clean!I can recommend the spa aswell, was a very good experience and professional staff.In my opinion, the pool is a bit small for such a big hotel. The preparation of the meals took a long time too, we were waiting almost one hour. Although the food was nice and generally I had a very good impression of the hotel!

Two things attracted me to the hyatt the rooftop and the pool. I didnt stay here but I had seafood soup and the nye dinner. The service and staff are on point . The views you get from the rooftop bar level8 and the setting of bar are just perfect for your evenings in Daressalaam

Very nice Hotel near the Port of Daresalaam.Its western style with a little African influence. Rooms are tidy, clean and bed pretty hard but comfortable. Good service and attentive staff.Very big Gym for a Hotel and nicely equipped. Spa and Pool area is spacious and with a good view.Breakfast is continental but nothing big, good choice of fresh fruit.

Came for Sunday brunch, refused to seat us indoors. We had five young children with us and it was far too hot for them to sit out side at midday. Was asked to wait out of the way of other partons without a specific time given as to how long a wait would be. Will never go again.

Fabulous roof terrace for a sunset drink and the Asian Restaurant serves some of the best food in town. Service a bit slow and waiting 10min for the bill.... But they had a larger group and was busy. Overall excellent dining option in DAR. Can only recommend

Excellent hotel. Beautiful ambience, Restaurant, poolside. I found the 24/7 car hire service very useful. I must commend the service of the hotel staff also. . The rooms with seaside view is a must. Sunday live band in the palm restaurant was lovely.

Probably one of the best hotels in Dar es Salaam. The staff is amazing. Very proffesional and very polite. The rooms have a nice view, they are comfortable and cozy. They offer a nice pool area and phenomenal dining. Sunday brunch would have to be my favourite, they serve a large variety of well made food and drinks.

The management of this hotel is rotten, un-responsive and doesnt seem to value its customers. Thy pledge to be the best hotel in town but you really wonder, is anyone in the back office taking their jobs seriously? It takes like weeks to get a reply on a simple query; which is then not even accurate and you just feel like they give nothing about you as a guest. Certainly never again in Dar.

The roof top Bar is excellent,The views are amazing on top you can see the Dar harbour and the city and the sunsets but however the service can get quite slow sometimes. The food and drinks are quite expensive just a big bottle of water costs 10,000 thats insane😅

This is undoubtedly the best hotel in Dar. While most other nice hotels are on the peninsula, this hotel is in the center of the city, which is good if you have business in city and get frustrated by the traffic on the ocean drive. However, if you are on tourism, you might want to be on the Peninsula. Having said that, the view from the hotelbof the harbor is amazing even though it is in the city center. The food here is great - I have enjoyed the breakfast buffet here more than anything else. The view from the level 8 bar is worth the price it commands. The rooms are nice, recently renovated so upscale. Nice pool with great views of Indian Ocean.
