A little disappointed as We didn’t get the room we had booked as the rooms on that side were still under renovation.All in all the room we got was amazing and there food was excellent. Their staff are very friendly and welcoming. I loved my stay. Definitely recommend.

The hotel is your home away from home. Very plush, comfy beds. Had a great view of the harbor. The staff are always ready to assist with anything you request. The food at the restaurants are tasty, cooked fresh and to perfection. Looking forward to next visit.

I like how I can walk in any Four Points and immediately know what to expect. This time I visited the restaurant and bar for a friends birthday and the decor and ambiance did not disappoint. What brought down the experience was 2 particular waiters ( I tragically forgot their names now but had been determined to name and shame them) that were downright hostile to our birthday group. I wouldnt go into it because I dont want to bring the R card but overall, what a downer to such wonderful Buffett. Also the juice left a lot to be desired. Sadly didnt visit the rooms here but if there are anything like the Nairobi one then they should be great. Parking is nightmarish as well for 5pm

Beautiful place to eat . Food was very good. We had dinner there about 8 of us. Waitor was very good at taking all our orders. Didnt mess up absolutely no attitude. He was such a pleasure . We were alot of different orders and he was very patient. We sat outside as the weather was excellent. It was Soo pleasant up where we were. We really enjoyed our selves we took our time no one rushed us out. Food was very good portions. . It was my familys second time going back to the Sheraton to eat dinner again. We didnt stay there we just ate there. We usually stay somewhere else when we are in town. Thank you Sheraton employees for beautiful service you all gave us. The door man the security guard that took us upstairs because some of us got off on the wrong floor. Thank u to all. Beautiful people. Would def come again. We all give you all a 10 .

We had a quick one night stay in Dar before going to Zanzibar. Everything at the Sheridan was clean, wifi was good, and the staff were attentive. We had just made it in time for dinner and we went to the seafood place on the roof. We were one of three groups in there. The service was good and the food was good. I’d return to this hotel.

Centrally located premium hotel. I invited few guests for dinner and they found Biryani best in the town. Thanks to Pastry Chef Pankaj and Executive Chef Vishal. Staff was courteous and polite. It was my first trip post Covid and all Covid safety norms were in place.

The hotel is nice, service is friendly and helpful. Rating could easily be five stars; however, the food is mediocre and more importantly, several associates (especially the cleaning people) were either not wearing masks properly or at all. Whether you believe in covid or not, it is not acceptable to put others at risk by refusing to wear masks properly / at all.

Beautiful interiors, excellent location (near a hospital, ferry, and town) and a nice rooftop lounge. Chef Vinay is a dessert wizard also; always had a little surprise after every dinner. Good breakfast options too. My only gripe, and it is a big one because the hotel is not cheap, is I could not get a refund for a weekend that I checked out (2 nights out of 12). I believe the hotel management could have done more and exercised their discretion to this end.

A spectacular pool place and verry beautiful meeting room

Had two day conference at the hotel, the staff at all times was helpful .The fact that all the staff wore masks, brought forward sense of responsibility on awareness regarding COVID.Lunch was served buffet style, and personnally loved the malva pudding.

Every time I stay at the Four Points by Sheraton Dar es Salaam I have nothing but praise for the postive Customer Service I received from the awesome managers Beatrice, Charles, Augustine, and staff. I did not have my updated credit card that was being sent DHL from the USA. Beatrice took time out of her busy scheduled to walk me through how to apply on line. It is funny once the application was completed my credit card arrived. Charles and Augustine made sure my rooom was okay and made it clear if I needed anything to immediately contact them. Four Points is fortunate to have such outstanding Manager who have always give me the best of Customer Service is the reason I will always stay at Four Points by Sheraton Dar es Salaam. I have stayed at other hotels in Dar es Salaam but the way I was treated staying at the Four Points by the Managers is the reason I often stay here. It is all about Customer Service the Managers at the Four Points can give a clinic to other hotels how to treat the customer to make them feel special when starying at the hotel. Four Points can be very proud of having such outstanding managers.

My favorite part of the stay was Breakfast; I went to bed dreaming about it, and woke up excited about it. The Chef is truly world class - he not only cares about his craft, but also the guests. I am vegan, but felt no limitations with the variety and options at breakfast, everything was absolutely devine. The Chef was very knowledgeable and helpful with even the strictest dietary restrictions. I felt as if I were eating a 5 star meal every morning. Well done. The rooms were well appointed with everything you would need for a pleasant stay, and Charles at the front desk was very helpful and hard working. Only minor improvements are needed, which includes television issues in one room, and small ants in the rooms, but the staff worked hard to keep these at bay. I also could not get hot water in the shower every day.

Location is good and rooms are comfy. Manager and staff are very friendly except the nervous receptionist, not the face to represent such an hotel.The Indian chef in the restaurant is an amazing, he cooked Indian dishes even though it was not in the menu. Wifi works perfect.

I had a good experience from my last stay on April 2021. But I shocked this time very poor service everything from toiletry to room cleaning........!!!!!

Very beautiful hotel with a swimming pool and self contained rooms they have a great stuff and the food is delicious it has a bar and restaurant it also has storage .continental breakfast is served at no fee at all .They have family rooms and twin birds they are open 24 hours and it is cash payment that is allowed here

I initially checked into a different Hotel in the Oyster Bay Area. I wanted to relocate to downtown and I went by on a hunch to see the property at the Four Points New Africa. I was really impressed with the location and the initial review of the property. I checked out of my first hotel and checked into the Four Points New Africa. I stayed a month at the hotel and was impressed daily. I must say that the staff at this hotel to be exceptional. From the moment I arrived and was greeted by the Bell Man to meeting the Concierge(s). They were true Ambassadors. The check staff were fantastic and made me feel very welcome. The entire Hotel staff was excellent from the Pool Bar, Gym, the restaurant staff, to the maid staff. I was always greeted with a good morning and wished a pleasant evening. I have already recommended this hotel to many friends who will be traveling to Dar Es Salamm in the future. I am also looking forward to the day that I can return.

A place to be....Wonderful Ambiance, New Rooms and Lovely Staff

The hotel is lovely. I wanted to stay an extra night and asked for availability. I was told by Beatrice at 8:00 am and again at 12:30 pm that that would be fine. I asked Beatrice to finish my conference and my work lunch and then I would pay for the extra nights. Beatrice told me both times that it would be fine. After work, I went to reception at 3:00 to take care of the payment and was then told there were no rooms after all. I am now on the street at 4:00 with no driver, no hotel, and scrambling to contact people who were scheduled to meet me this evening at this hotel for a meeting. I would have liked to know sooner that there were no rooms available instead of being told that there were and that I could pay after lunch.

Lovely place overlooking the ocean and always preferred the upper levels of the hotel where I could view the ocean! Stayed at this hotel whenever I visited Dar Es Salaam from 2009-2015.

I recommend this hotel for business trips because its clean, the staff are friendly and professional, great food, spacious room, and very comfortable bed.

The staff at this hotel was friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is modern and clean. The rooms are spacious with very comfortable bedding and a very nice bathroom. The TV was large and there was free water and coffee offered in the room. The hotel breakfast had so many options

Nice place, the former new Africa Hotel... I visited the Banquet and i real enjoyed the Buffee. I like the service as well, attendants were sharp and charming.

After trying all other hotels..I found New Africa is best hotel in Dar es Salaam. Nice spacious harbour view rooms with bar & of course with best restaurant. Especially if you like Indian food. Hotel also have facilities like gym, swimming pool & of course Casino. Most important courteous staff always love to serve you.

It is nice place especially on Friday for live band and will be good to catch up happy hours (6pm to 7:30 pm) selling every drink on half the price. Ooh the music is breathtaking after a long week from working. The place is serenity and nice people not to forget smiley attendants. Highly recommended

Went to the grill and the pool. All clean well done and the new look new Africa is comforting.

Stayed here 3 to 4 times due to work in region. No recognition of that fact. High fees, poor service. No functioning room phones, no room service unless you want a chicken burger . Frankly totally underwhelming. Done with this hotel.. Text you copy will automatically show hereall a bit of a joke .

Very old hotel, need some good work, great food..Thai, Indian etc, staff friendly, good view of harbour, big rooms but stuffy. Really need upgrading.

What can I say about this place ?!!Its downtown nearby azam marine and NBC head quarters .The buffet is very nice and so amazing place to eat .The rooms are nice and the sea view is wonderful .Price also is so reasonable , please when u have time just pay a visit to this place and you wont regret .
