To just say this place is gorgeous will be an understatement. From the reception to the roof top to the enchanting views from all directions, to the amazing ever helpful smiling staff and the food - top notch. This place is worth every penny spent.

We stayed here for a night after being on Kilimanjaro for 3 days and it was the perfect place to clean up and get some well needed rest. The bed was super comfortable, room was clean, their rooftop restaurant had a great selection of food and drinks, and their breakfast buffet was our favorite on the entirety of our trip. The hotel grounds are beautiful, their coffee is to die for, and its an extra perk to open your eyes to a magnificent view of Mt.Meru.

This place is absolutely gorgeous ,might as well say to die for its environment is very friendly and unique. The view is also satisfying not to mention its staffs hospitality but also the unblemished rooms .... I highly recommend this hotel guys

I have been member of Melia hotels since some years ago. I have been In some of theirs hotels and Resorts.This time is first time I am leaving review.I believe the Grand Melia Arusha and management’s of this hotel should getting more experience by time.Some points I have to write if I try help them.Other than they forgot to change the towels, We had bad experience about charging us for food in Rooftop restaurant.They charged us for one champagne for 400000:- shillings also 200000:- more the food eat. When we pointed that we neither order nor dink, they told us it was a mistake. We could accept it BUT they charged us by two second for 9 drinks?!?!?! AGAIN. When we pointed again they came with another excuse “ the system AUTOMATICALLY?!??! Charge.”I believe the management should and will take care of that.If they did to us so clearly they definitely will do the same to others.I got last day massage by Ms Maria in SPA. Amazing hands. I will call her “ healing Maria with magical hands”. This beautiful lady knows the job. You should not miss massage. But if you will be lucky and get massage by Ms Maria , you will never regret.

Simply the best hotel in Arusha by far , I usually stop in Arusha to relax for few days after any exhausting safari I do , this time I know this would always be my favorite stop, great clean and spacious rooms , spa and gym is fantastic and the food is simply delicious , I don’t even need to leave the hotel if I am staying for a couple of days 😍

The best hotel in Tanzania. And I have tried a lot of hotels here in the county . The staff is really amazing, very helpful. The view from the rooftop bar is really beautiful. They grow almost everything they use here in their own hotel garden. They even grow their own coffee. A beautiful place which is really welcoming after a safari in the bush

VERY GOOD HOTEL.We stayed there two nights (the first and the last nights of our trip around Tanzania) and It was much better than we expected. The staff was very friendly and the facilites of the hotel were amazing. Really nice pool to enjoy the day, beatiful gardens and speechless rooftop restaurant...100% reccomended.

I stayed here for 3 nights during christmas holidays..it is a Nice 4 stars hotel..BUT breakfast is not so fresh, esp the eggs and bacon..and the alacart menu the portion is so litle so dont expect much food when you order from the hotel kitchen and yet you pay so much.( not value for money) ..it is better to eat outside the hotel in other restaurants.The atmosphere is good and the views are spectacular. Was it not for bad breakfast and small food portion in alacarte i would give a 4 star...ohh by the the food and bevarage manager is HORRIBLE at handlimg customers concern.

The place is so nice and the management, especially the chef, they made nice pork dishes ....and the cocktail 🍸 omg is a bomb, the only thing I can tell you is one of the attendants messed up, I choose this place to celebrate my wifes birthday and cake was made to be presented after the meal, which suppose to be a surprise,unfortunately the lady came and asked if we want anything and blew my surprise by mentioning a cake I have downstairs like omg what did you just do😥.....My wife got to know about the surprise and I felt so bad......The manager came and apologized....Otherwise the place so nice and lovely 😍

Beautiful modern Luxurious Hotel. The breakfast had great diversity - Complements to the chef who took time to say hello to the Guests. On a clear day, Great views of Mt Meru. However, the staff at the Entrance and the Check in desk were not warm and welcoming. We arrived late in the night and I felt like we were being a bother- there was no enthusiasm esp after being on the road for 12 hours. The waiters and staff around the restaurant, rooftop restaurant and poolside bar were excellent! Kudos.

A nice hotel, ouh the environment ♻️ is cool especially on the coffee plantation and at the rooftop.A great place to stay low and do some journals.

The Gran Melia hotel Arusha is absolutely fantastic with a great mount meru view from the rooftop. The hotel is very luxurious with a thrilling interior. The deserts and drinks are tasty. We ordered a white masaai drink which tasted superb. Enjoyed!

Visit 1: Excellent food, excellent service and an excellent view!! This place is a must visit even if it’s just for a drink to look at the view from their rooftop restaurant. Well we are still loving this weather….As much as it calls for cuddles and sleep it’s also a good weather to visit Cool places like @granmeliaarusha.The hotel is amazing with the beautiful scenery and warm service.During the night we had🍔 Chiken Fried Buger and Chicken 🍗 chipsThe burger 🍔 was well prepared and chicken was well fried it was worth the taste. They have perfectly dried chips ….But it wasn’t that extraordinary we grade the food 7/10.What I loved was the view and the service 😍🤩🙌🏽 and for service I would love to give a shout out to 🎤 “Suzan” she always smiled 😀 had a welcoming gesture from the way she speaks to her service 💕 @granmeliaarusha we loved her!We have shared the night and day view 🤩 I would go for both views always .In general we rate this place 9/10.Follow us on Instagram @restaurantreviews_tz

Is it perfection or is it perfection. While I do not think the food is the best in all of Arusha m, the drinks and view make up for it 100 fold.

Great evening out with friends...thanks to the red and white team for the great range of Spier S.A wines...and the great finger food that continued to appear from the Gran Melia kitchens...looking forward to the Thai or Vietnamese night sometime soon.

It was very very good place to enjoy your holidays ad iwill vist again , only thing they should look again is beers prices they so expensive pls try to adjust your price for alcohols.

This is a magnificent place, there is amazing views , the pool is unique. The people working at the hotel are amazing , I had an incident with the lights I call reception and immediately they were in my door to fix it. They are really profesional and respectful. They also has a really good doctor in the hotel, that make us feel really secure.

My visit to Arusha Tanzania the best hotel and it being closer to the city the view of Mt Mmeru.

We went here on my birthday. The menu was rather limited and not what you would expect from a hotel of this class. Drinks menu is very impressive and drinks was fab. I visited the place 6 month earlier and the meny was still the same... Service was eminent, nothing to complain about.

The best five star accommodation in Arusha City, just from the gate, you are welcomed by the colorful flowers, continue to in you meet with smile faces of staff. Everything in it is amazing

I had a terrible ordeal with the customer service today it saddens me! I visited the hotel today for a breakfast buffet and chill to do my office works. The breakfast was great and heavy that has me sate to tomorrow but the treatment after was not so good from the staff! I was not allowed to get any comfortable than sit straight for my whole working time! Out of good will I made a guesture to order drinks, sadly another staff during the ordering process came screaming at me that it was necessary and all! This was a very uncomfortable and embarrassing experience that I regret to have encountered!

Its Gran Melia what could possibly go wrong? The Mt Meru view is awesome.

Beautiful place with beautiful surrounding scenery. It is quite close to the city centre.We visited the rooftop bar on boxing day. It was crowded but the service was still good. Free Wi-Fi was working also.

I had very good juice. Prices are friendly for a 5 star hotel. Rooms are the best they can be. The pool is so unique and the environment has clean Oxygen. Nice for refreshing ones mind. The Garden is artistic.

Lovely ambiance and great coffee.Their menu is a bit boring and more on the pricey end but perhaps its a strategy to keep only certain people visiting ?They have an amazing pool outside and a great ambiance with music and nice trees in the background.

It was an amazing weekend from the reception till the room service, we loved all the details and even the quality and hygiene ! All the staff were amazing except some need to be more trained and master the kitchen menu.The landscaping, and the interior of the the hotel are high standards.
