The lodge is really nice with a really nice staff.There are no problems. If you think you have one, talk to the staff to find out that it is no problem at all. 😉

Good but very expensive place

My friend and I stayed here for two days and we were beyond disappointed. The hotel is very overpriced and the services and food provided are subpar. Food and drinks are priced quite high for the region and the quality was very unimpressive.The beds are very hard and uncomfortable and there is no AC in the room! It was very hard to sleep due to the high heat and humidity in the room at night. We have stayed in 3 other mid-budget hotels this trip and all of them had in room AC units. WiFi never worked anywhere around the hotel, pool or restaurant which was very frustrating given the cost of the stay. The hotel staff and management were not accommodating with the check in process and it took us over 45 minutes to get our room ready. At check out we asked for a delayed check out for a couple hours due to our flight departure and they said no. The hotel had 6 guest including us with accommodation for over 75. They made no attempts to be welcoming or helpful to our group.After hiking Kilimanjaro and Safari we were looking forward to the spa the hotel marketed to us and it was awful. I have received pedicures in many countries and have never been so disappointed. It was a complete joke! Not to mention all of the spa services were significantly overpriced. My toddler could have given me a better pedicure.Some of these thing may have been acceptable, however, at over $250 a night for a simple room I expected I much nicer and luxurious experience. We stayed the night before at Summit Lodge in Arusha for $36 a night and they offered better amenities at a fraction of the cost and the owner and quality of service and food was much kinder and better quality.I have traveled all over the world and have never been so disappointed in a hotel experience at this high of a night cost. I highly suggest looking elsewhere if you are looking for a luxurious experience and to get what you are paying for! This hotel will nickel and dime you for absolutely everything and their amenities are not worth the nightly cost. I have never left a bad review on a hotel stay in the past, I just could not share my experience in hopes others can book else where for a better time on their vacation.

Beautiful and calming place for a step out of the noise and pressure of the city...set in the quiet coffee and banana farms, thats a place that you can just relax at...a beautiful and well maintained pool also makes for a nice way of spending an afternoon... An ideal place for families or a couple just wanting to reconnect or spend some quality time together.

A very peaceful and beautiful environment closed off from outside. Very friendly and helpful staff. Internet connection might be choppy in some areas of the property. Had to walk up to front desk to connect - which was ok for me, got me out of my room and talking to people.

Beautiful and relaxing with dik dik dear everywhere. Not cheap to stay here but lovely staff and you can just visit and have lunch or dinner, good food and pay to use the pool if you want a swim

Very pretty and serene. Lots of wildlife wandering around the manicured grounds. Restaurant is reasonably priced and the food and service are great!

Very calm and relaxing in a green park, very beautiful lodge, authentic decor in the lounges and restaurant the food is excellent and 40 minutes from the airport to rest well after a long trip, the arusha park is very good also to start the stay.

Very good deal. It was our first hotel in Tanzania. Well connected and very beautiful surroundings. They gave us all the facilities.

The ambience is very nice. However, the service underground, room service only 5 p.m., a lot of things are very dirty, sitting on the cushions in the beautiful sitting ticks is just gross. Bed linen partly dirty ... Water is provided 1 bottle of 330ml per person per day for brushing your teeth. If youre lucky and get some. Sometimes only on request ... For requests for service, it means no. If you stay tuned, sometimes something is done. The English of many (not all) employees is more than lousy, so in the restaurant it was only possible to order and show signs. The manager is no help but insults the guests and says (with the price of the accommodation, food, drinks) that you shouldnt have each other. Communication is written in small letters, but it is a pleasure to double-pay for drinks ... The garden is beautiful, but not as accessible as advertised ... WiFi is hardly available. On request: that will be addressed tomorrow. We were only there for 3.5 days and nothing happened. Why should I? Hardly anyone stays that long ... The worst lodge we have seen in Tanzania - just as expensive or more expensive than others who were beautiful, the service was very good, the people friendly. Too bad. It could have been nice. Was it once, as the interior suggested ...

Very nice manicured garden with monkeys and other small animals that walk there. We are sorry that the internet never went and that there was no tasty coffee. Little more effort from staff at the table would have been pleasant.

It is a charming accommodation, with a garden that invites you to rest. It has small fawns loose around the garden. The rooms are very spacious and cozy

Very nice lodge near Mt. Meru.It is a bit off the road behind a former coffee plantation in the middle of nature.As a guest you live in one of the huts scattered across the entire garden. These are comfortably furnished and not huge, but you dont have to be either, because you want to spend the whole day in the garden anyway if you havent already planned something else.The garden is populated by the semi-wild dik-diks, which are about a miniature version of our European deer. In addition, other animals such as turtles move around in the garden and in the late morning hours one is often woken up by the playing monkeys.The management and the staff are very nice and extremely accommodating. Under no circumstances should you hesitate to express your special requests.The lodge is perfect for e.g. After a safari trip you can still enjoy the peace, nature and the pool. In addition, a trip to the nearby Arusha is easily possible through the hotel.
