Perfect place to relax between two trips. We went in TZA for 3 weeks in August and relied on this hotel before and after Mt Meru / Kilimanjaro / Safari.Jean Peter and his brother are so kind. They can help a lot to discover the country or visit the City.Hotel and people to trust in, which is priceless.

We have had 3 lovely nights in Le Jacaranda. The staff is excellent, the rooms are big, the matras is firm but comfortable and the shower is exactly what you need when you come back from Kilimanjaro or a tented safari.The staff is also very helpful and there for you whenever you have a question.If I were to return to Arusha I would stay here again.

Le Jacaranda hotel is a small, quiet, and green retreat with friendly staff. We stayed there a couple of nights before and after out Kili summit.

I love Tanzania. I have been there a couple of time during these last 20 years. Having tours in these beautiful National Parks like the Tarangire, the Ngorongoro Crater, the Manyara Lake, the Serengeti, and of course the Arusha National Park to walk around the famous Kilimandjaro.So, Arusha is the place to be to have game time and Safaris. But if you are reading this comment, you know that!As I have been there many times, with different means... ;-) I had experienced different ways to have the best quality and services accommodations. From the highest rated hotel to the modest ones...Definitely, the Jacaranda Hotel is the best to my opinion, now I had the privilege to be one of thoose taking advantage of its reopening. WAOW! The price is very competitive regarding the quality of the room. Nothing to tell about the cleanliness. So many things I could write about the welcoming; you can see that Ruckya and Mark did think the rooms as they were dreaming of East Africa. Downtown Arusha, I found the place worthy of the best lodges into the parks!Cherry on the cake? Ask Ruckya and Mark about having tours around! Explain them you would like a round trip to Zanzibar..; You will LOVE their answer if you know a few Tanzania!Go go go, and live an amazing journey in Tanzania from a 5 stars Base Camp!

Great location, quality food, and last but not least, the nice and caring staff that you would expect from a family business. Great hotel in Arusha!

Very basic hotel on the way to Kilimanjaro or safari. Restaurant is ok, not cheap. WiFi is miserable.

Basically a very nice hotel. The breakfast was highly praised in the reviews and we were looking forward to it. However, there was only a bit of fruit, toast, jam and eggs but no breakfast buffet, as well as in simple hotels in Tanzania. The restaurant does not exist anymore. We were told the owner had changed. The staff was very friendly.
