We accidentally were passing by and ended up spending whole day here. such a cozy SPA! and our first ever experience in Tanzania when SPA actually cares about cleanness and hygiene - they sterilized all instruments after previous customer before starting new procedure. I was really impressed and happy and my friends from Mainland also said its such a rare culture here.Got my shellack nails done (omg, procedure combined with massage is to die for!) and aroma massage with African Oils. I tried to have my nails done with shellac. I left after an hour of trying to remove the old shellac, went back to my hotel where I had a few emery boards, and removed it myself within 5 minutes. The staff was friendly and the woman doing my nails tried her best so I tipped her for her time. But she as well as the person who I believe to be the owner lacked any experience for the service they were providing (using a buffer to file, is one example). They didnt have the right tools, and the nail file (emery board) and buffer being used were probably months old being dull and dingy (once white now turning brown). Aside from not actually being able to file properly, I questioned the hygiene of using this for so long. When I asked if they had additional tools, the owner pulled out a mini manicure set. The type that goes in your purse. I expected more from a spa attached to a hotel, and experience means knowing safe practices and avoiding transmitting infections.

The place seems to be nice, but I couldn’t really schedule a massage. I tried to book in advance, the administrator couldn’t understand the concept: “We don’t have any bookings tomorrow, just come!” Note there’s a guy masseuse, in case that matters. I always do my nails and massages there and it’s always absolutely amazing!

I can only recommend it. A nice young man has a perfect pedicure. Then I decided to have a peeling massage, which was also great.
