Stopped in for a brief last minute massage before dinner and they took us quickly and did a fine job. Nothing over the top but acceptable.What my masseuse lacked in training she made up for with effort and oil!!A bit pricey but clean and nice towels.

I booked in here for a facial and it was AMAZING. I left feeling so pampered and relaxed after a busy couple of weeks.The ambience is lovely when you first arrive and the facial was wonderful. It left my skin feeling clear, very hydrated but firm and the products smell beautiful. I really enjoyed the head and neck massage. This is a London quality service, the beauty therapists are highly skilled and really good. I booked two other treatments as it was so good.Unfortunately they told me one price when I went in and charged me a different price when I was finished which I really didnt like. The managemenf ruin the work tbat the lovely therapists do by neing greedy and lying about price.

People are nice and friendly. They try their best with what they have.-Rooms look very bad and unprofessional, uncomfortable, cold, doesn’t feel intimate.-Prices are extremely high. Treatments were good but not great because atmosphere is terrible and staff needs to be trained.I had facial and pedicure. Great pedicure, I enjoyed it. What I did not like it was in front of everyone next to entrance. If you ask this much money then you should provide better atmosphere!Facial was nice, she tried, but there has to be a lot of teaching. It was not relaxing at all. Did not feel hygienic as well. Products were very scented, not sure if that is good for face. Hope I don’t have breakouts after today. Room was cold, towels old and ruff, they used water from bowl, no sink. Esthetician should be more gentle, slower movements. At some point she went away without saying anything and came back and put extremely cold water on my face without saying anything. That was extremely unpleasant.People who work here are nice and they try their best with what they have, but they clearly need some teaching. Management fault. If they can’t change this then nobody should ever pay 80$ for facial.

Its a premium SPA when looking at the design and customer service (and definatelly the prices...)However when I would judge the quality of the express manicure - just average (again vs. what I would expect looking at the prices). The shape of the nails was OK (but not perfect) but overall unfortunatelly nothing special.But a big plus for the friendly staff and overall atmosphere!

Ive had better massages from ex girlfriends. Nice looking place on the outside and waiting room set up nice with leather chairs. There was no room to change in. I had about one minute to take off my clothes so the masseuse was right back in the room when I had only taken my shirt off. No problem Im not bashful. Got the aromatherapy massage 100$ 90min birthday gift for myself. Massage was amateur at best. Massage room was ajacent to parking lot so taxis, dogs barking, and various conversations, some from inside the spa interrupted the ambiance/mood. Head rest and massage table were uncomfortable which is a first for me. Masseuse had a sniffle and sneezed several times. Concerning during these COVID weary times. I was tempted to get up, get dressed and walk out several times but I waited giving the masseuse time to get it right. That never happened. Wasted time and money. If you want a massage go somewhere else. They didnt even offer a cup or bottle of water after the massage. Two stars for decor and the cute receptionist.

I went to Cinnamon Spa in January 2021 and had the worst experience getting an overpriced manicure and pedicure. I dont recommend coming here because relative to other things in Zanzibar, it is extremely overpriced. Ive lived in Manhattan and San Francisco and I dont mind paying a lot, but not if the service is terrible (my manicure was ruined in 2 days), they are unprofessional (I paid BEFORE my services because I had a very limited amount of cash on me) and halfway through my service they told me I owed them more.. and then they told me I COULD NOT pay with my credit card for that amount and then they got uncomfortably angry at me for their own mistake, and its not sanitary (they dont clean their tools properly so I opted NOT to have my nails manicured (just painted). A waste of time and a waste of money. I hated my experience here and I advise against going here.

My first shellac nail fell the same night that I did it and being so expensive this is not acceptable.

Staff is very nice and friendly. Went for manicure and pedicure and they put nail polish on (which is not the case of some Spa in Stonetown).I bought a full treatment for feet and a quick manicure but more time was spend on my hands than feet, so gave me the feeling of being rushed on the more expensive treatment.So careful to not go close to closing time.

Really nice and friendly spa with two locations in Stone Town (the other is across the street from Jafferji House Hotel). They even let you pay in a combo if Tsh and USD if you want. Plus, they work with kids, letting our girls get some treatment after arriving in Zanzibar from safari.
