An absolutely stunning place. Beautiful setting, very friendly and accommodating hosts and staff. Went there to have a meal and it was delicious. Had a set menu dinner (which they change every day), Italian meatball dish, a fettuccine pasta dish, a pepper fillet dish and a delicious desert. We also had our first bottle of Italian red wine, a Syrah, and it complemented the food very well.

Max was adorable, he was very careful with us and prepared several good personalized italian dishes, according to our desires, every evening. The brishetta was very well. We eat the best Italian food here.The staff are also very involved and very caring. the hotel is well located near to the beach, very clean and with a good design which allows us to fully enjoy this haven of peace.We can also play different game with friend and familly and enjoy the pool.The hotel is not too far from evry attractions and you can also negotiate a good price with the taxi for the ride or the attractions.

Had a few amazing lunches here. I love the vibe and the pool table and games is a great addition especially when you have kids.Food was great, and service 10/10.

Went here for a deep tissue masage while in Zanzibar.It was really good and professional,althought not super deep.The masage room has lovely views just off the beach.The prices are the most reasonable I saw in the Matemwe area.They also allowed us to lie on the sunloungers and under the umbrellas for the morning at no cost.totally worth the outing.

Luxury place. We had a room with a sea view, which rooms have a big veranda with see-saw chair. Everything is very stylish. A bit too lot of service, as for me. A sea during the high tide is a bit grassy, this I actually liked more at the south of the iceland.

Beautiful hotel with 7 rooms right at the beach. Very calm area and not many tourists at the beach (gets cleaned everyday).Food is delicious, for $15 you get a 4 course dinner menu. At the bar you get good shisha too.The staff is nice and very helpful.Massage was great.Wifi was availabe everywhere (room, restaurant, beach).You can pay in Eur, Usd, Tsh, credit card.

Loved this family run beach house hotel. The rooms are on the second floor so the view over the water is great. Loved the private balcony to sit and listen to the surf - when high tide. The sea goes way out at low tide so it is amazing to walk so far out and be knee deep. The family take care of your needs and it is intimate. Yes it is a long ride into Stone Town but that is part of the charm and I would recommend renting a car. Food is Italian style which we enjoyed. The staff were great and were pleased to get whatever we needed. There are plenty of games available such as a pool table, chess sets, etc. There were always sun chairs available so no problems as at larger places where sun chairs can be taken. The family also have a boat for snorkelling and diving onsite so it is easy to book and they are very relaxing to go with. Coffee is instant but pod coffee can be purchased and the wine is not the best, but this is Zanzibar, those would be the only negatives. You can arrange a massage onsite too or a romantic dinner on the private table overlooking the beach. We loved the personalised care of a smaller place and yet we felt too we could be private. An amazing mix and with all the pluses of diving arranged onsite and from the hotel and massages onsite. We also did the half board which worked really well.

We used their scuba diving gear and scuba services. Thank you Asheri for a fantastic deep sea diving experience . Definitely one of the highlights during my holiday.

Zanzibar House is a very nice small boutique hotel on the beach in Zanzibar, far away from civilization. It has the classic boutique feeling and is run by a very nice Italian family. The food is good, not outrageously expensive and easy to order. Rooms are in the typical Stone Town style, which I thought was cool, and the price is very competitive. The owners were extremely helpful with arranging tours, which in general were of high quality.However there were a couple of flaws in my opinion:- Its in the middle of nowhere, making it impossible to do anything without an overpriced taxi ride - the last part to the hotel is a dirt road with will give you a brutal massage weather you want it or not- We constantly had issues with the water in the shower- The staff asked for tips, which I thought was quite annoying- Room smelled quite wierd and beds had no real blankets- I was really annoyed by the fact that they added a 5% charge when I paid for the stay with credit cardAll in all I recommend the hotel, mainly because it was well priced for its standards.

As soon as we arrived, we were told that the principle was rest, and it is the case, a comfortable room, a sublime beach, hearty meals, and adorable staff. I highly recommend this place which has a little taste of paradise.

After a very cool reception in poor English, we were escorted to a room that looked more like a prison cell. Hot, musty, dirty, smelly and with a bed full of ants (we have pictures). Notabene we left straight away because no other room was offered to us. We are waiting for a refund to this day. Stay away !!!

Waiters Lina, Salim, Rajab - the height of talent in their work! Room service - on top! The owners of the hotel are Italians. Very kind people and respond to any of your (even the smallest) problem! Always ready to help! We arrived at the hotel at night and in the room we were waiting for fresh fruit and sandwiches! In the morning, the breakfasts are practically monotonous, but very tasty and served with a soul! Dinner? Ohhh, this is a whole ritual (in a good way) !!! Serving and serving on the table is the height of art and Italian traditions, mixed with great RESPECT to YOU ​​!!! The owner of the hotel CAM approached everyone and asked how you like the food, how the mood, what will be the wishes, etc. .... PERSON !!! WITH A GOOD HEART!!! At first glance beautiful and cozy. You are lured in with a big happy hour advertisement. But unfortunately you are ripped off by the bartender. Despite happy hour in the late afternoon, we had to pay full price!
