Best holiday! The hotel is close to the beach, has a lovely garden, the bungalows were clean and spacious and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves delicious food and the view from the restaurant is amazing. I will come back there for sure!

Stayed at Z Lodge for 1 night only but loved the place. Clean rooms, nice pool, relaxed atmosphere, very family friendly. The food was delicious and a lot of choice. I arrived by car and the place was easy to find. I will be back for sure. Thanks for a great time!

Excellent new hotel just in front of the sea. The restaurant is greatl and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very good too. The only thing we didnt like was the beach. The water is a bit blurry and with sargasso. But if you just want to sit and enjoy the sea it is perfect.

Spacious & clean rooms, but overpriced given the condition of the bathrooms for example. In case you need to work, WiFi is very bad. Pool and the view from the pool is great

I spent 7 days at the Z-Lodge. Before that, I was in two other hotels, so I have a comparison. I think the time at Z-Lodge was the best part of my holidays. When we arrived we were kindly greeted with a welcome drink, the staff were always helpful, the restaurant serves the best food on the island (it was so delicious!), the managers organized great excursions for us for a really good price and there are no beach boys on the beach who are very annoying sometimes. My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Z-Lodge Zanzibar. Convenient location of the hotel, located off the beaten track. There is silence and beautiful views from the hotel. We enjoyed our stay very much. Delicious, hearty breakfasts (fresh fruit, juices, cakes, pancakes, main a la carte breakfast). The restaurant offers delicious food! Fantastic restaurant service! Waiters are interested in guests, they talk to them! Everything at the highest level. The room was very clean, there was cleaning every day. Ladies who clean pleasantly, smiling and discreet. Bows to the managerial staff Mrs. Eliza and Mr. Kacper are professionals in every inch! A big plus for us because they are from Poland, so we could talk freely. If we had any problem, they quickly solved it, suggested where to go and what to visit. It was a great stay. I wholeheartedly recommend this place for people who appreciate beautiful views and are looking for rest. We had a wonderful week in the Z-Lodge Zanzibar. The apartment was a good size and cosy. It was lovingly prepared with blossoms, a bouquet of flowers and a bottle of water. Everything was very clean and tidy. The beds were super comfortable and cozy. We were welcomed with a coconut on our terrace and enjoyed the view of the sea. The site is not too big and very well maintained. There are places to sit and lie down everywhere. A beautiful pool overlooking the ocean invites you to splash, swim and enjoy. The small beach below the hotel offers access to swimming at high tide and the opportunity to see marine life at low tide. The hotel also has a restaurant with a covered outdoor terrace directly above the sea. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced. Kitchen and service were super friendly and attentive. You felt like you were staying with friends. There was always a smile and a few kind words. Questions and requests were gladly answered and taken care of. The breakfast buffet was always sufficiently stocked and there was also the option of choosing warm egg dishes à la carte. Even if you wanted to have breakfast a little longer, you were not disturbed until you were finished. Especially the bartender Abdul infected us again and again with his happiness and was happy to fulfill our every wish. The reception was always there for our needs, organized drivers (Hidja :-) ) and guides for us and helped us with all questions. We arrived as strangers and left as friends.
