We only spent one night at the hotel, but that was very nice. The room was quiet and big, the pool was not too cold and the food at the restaurant was amazing.I would like to especially point out the friendliness and helpfulness of the whole staff, specifically Sophia, who helped us a lot and was always more than kind!Will come back

Very nice location close to Stone Town, by the ocean. Extremely friendly staff, and this was the biggest plus of our staying. Good food, quiet place, comfortable bed and clean rooms. Thank you!

Best place and most friendly staff ever! We spent 14 days here during recompression treatment at a hyperbaric chamber after a diving incident. We even got an upgrade to the ocean view appartement, which made our recovery a whole lot easier! Food at the restaurant is really good, the rooms are very comfortable, swimming pool is nice and the staff is the best! Thank you Golden Palm staff for all your love and care during our stay!

This hotel that is immaculately kept has that family and friendly feel to it. Celine, the friendly and hospitable facility Manager makes guests feel at home. Meals are great, the rooms are clean and spacious plus the Ocean view is spectacular.Where else would one get a 6pm late check out as you await your late evening flight? I got it here....

I visited a lot of hotels on Zanzibar and in Tanzania, but the Golden Palm is the most friendly (hotel crew is so happy! 😁), clean (hotel is clean more then enough! :)), flexible (we are comming oft without booking before and they wait everytime us with glass of hibiskus tea). If smb needs accomodation near to Stone Town with good relation price to quality - this is the best choice in my opinion.

If you want to get away from the noisy hustle and bustle of Stone Town, this place is perfect. It is brand new, staff are amazing and it is so peaceful and quiet. The beds are the best we stayed in all over Zanzibar, including 5 star hotels. Literally a 5minute taxi from airport

It is a very nice place and I particularly love the meals.

Basic neat executive rooms, not ideally for holiday, more of business hotel.

Room with sea view very nice... Breakfast only 2 Stars, they write have Fitness Studio but dont have!

Me and my wife had alot od problems from the start, wrong dates etc. The manager Bony and his staff helped us from the word go. Then my wife had to get a emergancy opperation here. The staff directed me to dr Hamza who saved her life. The staff from management up to room service are so so special. This is what we call salt of the earth people.i have never in my life been treted so well by any place or people anywhere.thank you so much and i will tell everybody i know about you and your awesome hotel.

Very spacious room, clean, with a great sea view. Reception service extremely lovely. Thanks to the courtesy of the host, we were able to start the hotel day a few hours earlier and relax after the trip. Minus for the safe which was not repaired and we couldnt use it and the swing (cocoon) on the terrace which I couldnt use as it fell over. The first time I met, despite the breakfast included in the price, I had to pay extra for a coffee from the coffee machine, and I travel to many places of different standards. Plus for being able to experience the ebb and flow, which is quite spectacular at this point.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 days before heading to the north of the island, you are 10 minutes from stone by car.Only 6 min from the airport.Small restaurant on site but very good.Very clean rooms and lovely staffCorrect price around 40 to 50 dollars per night Breakfast includedI highly recommend.
