Tanning mattresses are deteriorated from excessive use 3. Breakfast was poor (not on standards to be named a resort).Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Zenobia, but found it expensive for what you get. In summary: you pay to be close to the beach.PS: go in the local town and buy fruits there. They are super fresh and taste like heaven.

We booked the hotel for 4 nights, but was so good that we extended for 13 at the end. Clean rooms, daily housekeeping. Fridge and hairdryer, strong and efficient air conditioning. Good breakfast, excellent restaurant for lunch and dinner. All the staff was very kind and helpful. Very conveniently located, stairs to the beach, private sun loungers, daily fresh beach towels. Middle of Nungwi beach, close to shops and other restaurants. The room is quiet, nice terrace for late night drinks. We really enjoyed. Thank you Zenobia

The staff is very well trained, smiling and hospitable. It is not possible for me to describe the location of the hotel. I have visited the island, but I have rarely seen such a magnificent location. The food is beyond amazing and the cleanliness of the kitchen is very successful. The hotels rooms, corridors and garden are very clean..It is very close to everywhere and everything. The rooms are like in the ocean.. I liked it very much, I wrote it not to impress but because I was impressed

The staff there were great and the location is great, close to restaurants.The garden view rooms look out onto a public walkway with a bush between your bedroom window and people walking by all day. The only option worth considering is the sea view room, but for the price I think you can get better value elsewhere as you inevitably end up spending the difference anyway to get a place to sit on the beach without being harassed by beach hawkers, which Zenobia does not have.

The best value for money , the best thing in it is the stuff , so helpful , so friendly and always smiling .You can find a good WiFi connection , good food and it is near to the local marketIt is highly recommended fore if you want to meet the real Zanzibar people and have a stay with a wonderful communityI want to thank all the stuff who works there

The rooms were clean and the employees were very kind. I also recommend the restaurant, one of the cleanest in the Nungwi region. Thank you for the comfort. I highly recommend.

All these 5 out of 5 ratings is fake. Rooms are mediocre at best. Aircon works intermittently but Hotels next door have full time aircon. Rooms are noisy with very busy Restuarant 10 m infront of your room. Breakfast is poor with no choise, basicaly prepare yourself for egg and bread each moring.For this price you will do better elswere.

We stayed 5 nights. Nice hotel, a bit expensive for the level of services. Exceptional view, for rooms by the sea side. Personal is kind. Breakfast is so-so. No pool. The long chairs rest area on the terrasse by the sea has no shade. No swimming around, boats anchor here. Restaurants around are good. The Gelato on site is great. The party place is close and on party nights loud music lasts till 5am!! We ended up spending the day at the double tree hotel which had a great all inclusive day package that included drinks and confortable resting areas, restaurants, pool and beach to swim. I am suspicious of other ratings which have few other comments on Google. They seem inflated.Response to owner: it is difficult to stay the whole day at the hotel, there is minimum confort. We asked to get some cushions to make out balcony chairs more confortable for enjoyment and we were refused. So we went exploring, and found more confortable places. Now you have the choice to take ombrage or to take note. If I were in your business I would check the other hotels offer and try to make something similar. I find your answer is missing the focus on improving your clients experience and listening to their needs to have a confortable relaxing stay during the day.

Comparison mostly with other 5 stars resorts that are not cleaning.You can enjoy here the markets, where you have a lot of souvenirs to buy, fresh fruits on the road, and street food! So the real Zanzibar.15 min by walk you can visit Turtles aquarium.Food. The breakfast offer different fresh fruits every day. And you have opportunity to choose something for kids like cornflakes, eggs, something sweet, fresh juice.For lunch and dinner also they have the reataurant, with 6 or max 10$ you can eat pasta, burger , fish and chips.The bar offer opportunity for really tasty cocktail or local beer ( the cheapest in comparison with all resort in Zanzibar). Really close to hotel there are 2 restaurant that offer different choise for eat at lunch and dinner.HOTEL. Is really easy to read that personal that is working in some hotel is nice. But here made the difference! From the first day I was feeling like at home for the atmosphere that there is! Rooms are cleaned everyday in amazing way! Workers are Always nice and ready the help you as fast as possible.The Manager is one of the most nice and helpful person I met in all my journeys.The Ocean. Ok, but the geographic position of this city ln winter offer more continental weather. One time per day (mostly in the morning) was particurarly cloud or raining for few minutes, max till 3, 4 Pm , normal you think, but something that in other part of island where we were there was not this problem. My partner and I stayed 7 nights in Zenobia, which is a very recent hotel in Nungwi as it opened in July 2021. We loved everything about that hotel: its location is very central, on the beach just a few meters away from the village center. All rooms face the ocean and you can enjoy a stunning sunset every evening.The hotel is literally on the ocean and it has its own private beach when the tide is low, with cristal clear water and very few algae compared to some nearby beaches.AC in all rooms which are simple but decorated with taste, fan, fridge, super comfy bathroom with plenty of hot water. And the internet connection is great. It was a top priority for me as I had to work from Zanzibar. The wifi is good enough to make video calls which is a very rare thing in Tanzania overall. Last but not least the staff is super helpful and kind.Just keep in mind that the hotel is located in the very center of Nungwi, among restaurants, bars and nightclubs. It can be pretty noisy at night if you’re a light sleeper like me. Also the restaurant menu is pretty basic but you have plenty of choice nearby.

İ stayed in 4 different area and 5 different hotels on the island.. i havent seen any other hotel wich was clean like Zenobia, The sraff is one of the best in africa.

Very nice beach. Good for diving but when is big sea/ocean outflow, then is impossible to swim.

We went on the lunch, owner is really kind, he took time and talked with every guest. Food was delicious, they even made me chicken soup, which was not on the menu. Amazing place, I would recoment it.

Amazing recently opened hotel in the center of Nungwi beach. Perfect location to go to all key restaurants and excursions around. And that terrace view is just PERFECT.

Great place for an acceptable price. The location is super, right on the seashore with a gorgeous view. Cleaning every day, there is a small refrigerator in the room that for us there was a big plus, air conditioning works fine, the bed is comfortable. There is a small terrace, where in the evenings I am pleased to spend time.I recommend to try their restaurant, the quality of food is better than in many neighboring restaurants. The staff is polite and helpful. Thank you very much Zenobia Resort! :)

This is perhaps the best place in Nungwi, in terms of guest convenience. The hotel is on the first line, almost all rooms have a sea view, it has its own territory with sun loungers, its own descent to the sea and its own mini-beach. There is a terrace restaurant, which serves excellent breakfasts (never repeated in 10 days). Excellent team, the level of service pleasantly pleased, everyone is always smiling and ready to help. There is good Wi-Fi on site. The rooms have air conditioning and a refrigerator. Cleaning every day. Paradise place! I recommend to everyone!

We stayed 4 days in Zenobia and 17 days in 3 other well-known hotels in Nungwi. We gave and nowhere have we felt as comfortable and safe as in Zenobia. The breakfast and the food was just delicious. Location is the best you can get. Service and management more than very good. I can only recommend it.

Excellent location, friendly staff and incredible views from the room or the entire hotel of both the sea and the sunset! To say the wrong thing would be the lack of a swimming pool as it is necessary when the tide rises or the weather is bad. Since another adjoining hotel owns it and it is cheaper. Something very good about it is that it communicates with the rest of the hotels and restaurants by an internal path that you never leave. Security is good and a Masai watches all night. The breakfast is very complete and the exceptional person as well as the owner, pleasantly helps you with everything you need.

Excellent location and pleasant rooms. Clean and newly renovated.In the end, the hotel lives from its excellent location, almost half in the sea. Really worth a visit, but no restaurant of its own, no exceptional service, breakfast ok. But enough restaurants around it.

The owner was so friendly and helpful that it is difficult to find good words, he was FANTASTIC. Elegant and spotless room. Daily change of towels. Nice breakfast and lunch fantastic juices and cocktails (zenobia special) Unbeatable view! The hotel is a stones throw from the sea and has no problem with the tide ... No one would be disappointed to stay here.

After 3 days in a nearby lodge, we preferred to spend the rest of our vacation back at the Zenobia. It is by far the best hotel on Nungwi Beach. Great service, very tasty food, the rooms are always clean and a super nice host. Thank you very much Mr. Mert 😊, we will definitely be back ❤

The hotel has a direct beach location. When you get up in the morning and go to the balcony, the view is breathtaking. The breakfast area (terrace) offers an exceptional view of the Indian Ocean. The service is outstanding. The rooms are cleaned every day. The outdoor area of ​​the hotel is maintained daily. In the hotel area there are beach chairs and beach towels. The hotel owner leaves nothing to be desired. For these reasons we chose the hotel for the second time.
