Absolutely not recommended!!! We booked two rooms on booking.com misled by few good reviews. Upon arrival, we found the bathroom literally covered with excrements! The owner tried to explain in his Russian-English that there must have been some failure. The truth is, he hadnt even checked the rooms before our arrival. The surrounding of the Hotel was horrific, rubbishes everywhere with wild animals eating them, smelled very badly. We had to argue with booking.com to cancel our reservation as the owner tried to offer other rooms instead of cancelling reservation without any fees. Finally, the reservation was cancelled free of charge, but we lost the rest of the day. Later we found a new 4-star hotel nearby for the very same price. The moral of the story is that you should always be suspicious when the average review is good, but their number is low as you never know who wrote them. By the way, the location pin here on google maps is wrong, but other data is correct.

Owner very nice and very caring with his team! Excellent breakfast and you feel really good in this hotel. We are close to everything and have a magnificent view from the rooftop

I am sending a review not to the hotel, but to the owner, Dmitry. He came with his family to the island twice in two years, where he actually met him. Responsible person, on the island for a long time. Purposeful, meticulous. He does not just live for his own pleasure, but delves into the local realities of life.I think that such a person is unlikely to have a bad hotel. He just wont allow it.Considering that this particular type of business has just begun to develop, there may be small overlays. But this is a normal process and I want to ask future guests not to take small inconsistencies to heart. And I am sure that Dmitry will not allow the occurrence of such a nuisance a second time.Let your vacation on the island be a joy for you.!!!

If I return to Nungwi again, then only to this hotel! Satisfied with the stay and service! The room is clean and big, no mosquitoes and flies! There is air conditioning, fan! Hot water around the clock! Internet is good in the room too! In the shower, hand soap, shower gel, toilet paper! Breakfasts exceeded all expectations, the chef always takes into account your wishes! The owner of the hotel Dmitry and the admins will always help to solve any problem, they will always prompt in any matter! The hotel is safe, there is security. Near the aquarium with turtles, mini zoo. The view from the third floor is breathtaking! Very easy and relaxed, very nice operators. In the evening there are often spontaneous barbecue parties like in flat shares, everyone takes something with them. Value for money is unbeatable if you can do without luxury.
