Amazing resort located right on the beautiful beach of Kiwengwa. Great chef and amazing food. Rooms are very clean and spacious with big comfortable beds. Great sized pool for when there is a low tide. The beach is amazing with white sand and no boats to obstruct the view of the horizon. The owners are very friendly, welcoming and helpful with anything we had questions about.

Excelent location, with perfect view and comfy, clean rooms! Food was fresh and very tasty! Perfect destination to come with friends (we were more than adults and about 10 kids!)! Enjoy!

Stay away from this place. I had a reservation for my family at New Years Eve period. Suddenly they cancelled the reservation because the owners decided to come and they needed our rooms. Totally unprofessional. Even if you have a reservation, you can’t be sure yo’ll have a right to stay there.

The best place at the beach in Kiwengwa. Great Location and great owner. The pool and the food is awesome. No fake Masai or beach seller disturbed us there. 5 Stars+!

Great place to chill and enjoy everything Zanzibar had to offer ,located on acres of emerald water and sandy beach with friendly hosts who will accomodate every wish you desire from organising a sightseing tours or preaparing a tasty dinner for your love ones .

Incredible place to visit if you want peace and relaxation. Stone house is great, being fully self-contained you have the choice of eating out or eating in.  With a full sized fridge and cooktop and all the cooking utensils you need and a washing machine and dryer.  Matija arranged all our tours and the tours were fantastic especially the Safari blue, Prison island and fishing trip.  Within walking distance to the kiting school he organized kiting trainer for us..  I highly recommend that you come to this resort.

I have been here for 1 months and counting. This Resort for sure promises a great atmosphere with friendly staff and constantly great food. Thank you very much Stone Resort and keep it up!

The site is charming, family-friendly, welcoming and simple, on a human scale, pleasant. Everything looks like a small guest house, it makes you want to stay there...We were not staying there, but went to eat one evening.Quite good, but like everywhere, a kitchen adapted to Europeans and thats a shame.The problem, the portions are huge, which meant that we had 10 times too much, half went back to the kitchen, the chicken soup did not contain chicken... The waitresses could have told us that our order was too big for 2 medium-sized women, it would have avoided waste, not to mention that we werent very hungry... not very commercial either regarding payment, the site didnt score any points.

Friendly staff Beer costs 5000 Tanzanian shillings. I ordered a Huber soup, it was too salty for me, but the waiter noticed that and without saying anything I got a new one straight away

Wonderful welcoming hotel. Large rooms, huge balconies with sofas, clean pool, de-algae beach in front of the hotel. Very green area in the style of southern Italy.There are few hotel rooms, so no one interferes with the feeling of privacy and tranquility)A huge special thanks to Matthias, the hotel manager, for helping us with all the issues and patiently explaining everything.Our stay was wonderful.P.s. We found the most beautiful shells here.
