My Husband (Local) called the Reception bevor arrival. We got a double room for 85000 TZS In the first floor on the Street site. Very Noisy and building processes around. The room is simple and we got 1 Towle for 2 pax which was already in the bathroom. 1 piece of Soap. At booking.com the description says it different. Also Shampoo, but wasnt there. For 1 night ok. I also dont know how other rooms look like.

$40 non-resident rate vs. $30 resident rate for a single room. Pretty typical (poorly maintained, questionable value and cleanliness) room in this price range in Dar es Salaam. Buildings are packed tightly together in Kariakoo, so expect most rooms to have a two meter view into the next building. Located near the border between Kariakoo and Kisutu.

I stayed at Sleep Inn close to Lumumba Street Dar es Salaam. A nice place.

Sleep Inn hotel located In down town city center Dar es salaam. I recommend this hotel available at average of 60 dollers per day value for money. They provide break fast only, which I really enjoyed. Well maintained , good staffing. For lunch and dinner you will get a lot of options out sided the hotel. Some of the hotels you will find Vegetarian which is quite interesting thing in Africa because of may Indian settlers staying around. Enjoy Dar es Salaam.

For a low cost, functional place to stay in the hub of Dar this is just right. No frills but the beds are comfortable, the water is there, and hot, the free WiFi works and is acceptably fast. The restaurant is slow but the food good and very acceptably priced.

Rooms are too small.No hot running water in the hand wash basin (which is too small).Not well maintained rooms.Surely the standards have deteriorated since I was last here, a few years back.
