Good food, good real coffee. That grilled calamari was just delicious. Friendly service who also understand what you want. Although getting a sugar free ice coffee took 2 tries.

Clean and friendly staff. Breakfast has variety and is delicious. A bit of work would be great to make the entrance more receptive.

If you are a non smoker make sure you book a non smoking room, as They allow smoking in some rooms which are carpeted so the rooms hold all cigarette smells... i booked a non smoking room, only to be moved twice to 2 smoking rooms, had to find another hotel as i couldnt bare cigarette stench.

On arrival there are no signs to let you know where the hotel actually is located, I was directed through a car park to the back of the building, as this is a new hotel this also caused problems when ordering taxis as the drivers have no idea about the location.There is a special discounted rate stay 3 nights pay for 2 nights for2 persons including breakfast.I stayed in their supposedly Deluxe Double room, as this is a new hotel the bed linen and towels were crisp, clean and soft, the bed was very comfortable, the room and bathroom were very clean, and there was a fairly large balcony with a view over Dar city which was great.BUT the downside there is no fixed shower in these deluxe double rooms, only a bath, with a shower hose which is way to short to be convenient.After complaining about the shower situation I was shown the standard room as this had a fixed shower, only the standard rooms have showers, there was no shower curtain or screen and the shower directly faced the toilet not ideal, both the bathroom and bedroom were very small, this room had no balcony or view compared to the double deluxe room.There are no spare power points in the room to charge your phone/iPad etc., you have to unplug the bedside lamp and the room phone to charge devices. They provide a kettle, with tea, coffee and sugar but no where to actually plug the kettle in, again no socketsThe TV you need to switch on and off manually from the tv itself, the remote only works to change channels, a little annoying and inconvenient. There are very few tv channels, only Asian channels are available.There is no mirror in the room, only a small one in the bathroomThere is no safe in the roomThere is no fridge in the roomThe swimming pool was dirty and the gym equipment was broken, it was obvious these areas are not maintained.There is no spa as mentioned on the websiteThe restaurant only serves breakfast, no lunch or dinner is availableOn the plus side the breakfast was very good, varied foodstuffs and the girls were extremely efficient and attentive with the guests and also with replenishing food and the hot water in the warmers to keep the food warm.There is open WiFi throughout the hotel with excellent connectivityThe staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the stay, which was pleasant enoughOverall I would not class this as a 4 star hotel and I would not pay the full price for the rooms

Great place - only a few details needs to be completed. Super new so a few essentials still not fixed in the hotel. Meals must be fetched out of hotel for the kitchen is on track to be completed. Only breakfast can now be served.I also noted the rooms are a bit tinny and therefore stuffy. Room sizes needed to be rethought.Finally, on a bright side, the Internet is great and TVs are super smart and fast. You can stream YouTube and log onto your Prime or Netflix account and watch your favourite shows just like home:)

The service attitude is good, but there are many thieves, and the thieves have the keys. I was stolen from the computer and mobile phone money last month. When I came back to see, we opened it and thought it was because I didnt lock the door. Then the hotel installed surveillance! ! This month my colleague was stolen again. He was sure that the door was locked, and most importantly, the door was still locked when he went back! ! It means that the thief has a key! The most important thing is that the surveillance was not turned on when it was stolen! ! ! ! Think carefully about it! ! There is no evidence anyway, and the hotel does not pay for it once! ! ! We were stolen twice, and we all left for only half an hour! ! !
