It was refreshing, the view is amazing and the staff are accommodating. A little pricey (probably because I booked through Booking.com) but does have value of money. The bathroom is spacious and the mirrors are cool!

We had a very good time with my boyfriend. The live band was amazing. Food was delicious and the rooms were clean and very spacious. The beach view is very nice plus the pool was clean. The staff were also friendly and helpful.

It was a lovely stay with gorgeous rooms and great food. The restaurant has a great selection but it quickly gets crowded in the evening, best make a reservation. Would visit again.

Restaurant only:The food is okay, the service is a little slow but not entirely terrible. The ocean view makes up for all of that though. In the hotter evenings I wish they had kept the upper half of the windows open in the dining area, but its not a big deal. On a clear night you can also see a lot of stars due to its location away from the city centre.

This is a beautiful small family run boutique hotel right at the beach. Very close to town but peaceful and quiet. The beach access is easy, the beach is clean and safe in front of the hotel. I could take if my shoes in the lounge area and put my feet in the sand, work and have a holiday feeling at the same time. The pool is clean and very well located. There is a great spa in the hotel with all treatments at a great price. For the hotel price the rooms are really good with air conditioning and a good shower. The front desk staff were not on a good mood when I was there and actually a bit disrespectful but one bad staff experience can’t make me take anything of my fantastic experience at Mediterrano. The restaurant staff are really nice and helpful. All in all a great experience. Definitely a place to stay in Dar, especially when mixing work and holidays like I am .

Great and convenient boutique hotel. Near Airport (30 -40 min). Room Clean and plenty of hot water for the shower !!!Not a nice beach to swim but amazing sea view, great location, staff very well trained, very pleasant, helpful at front desk !!!! Restaurant food, setting and view are amazing. Menu could use a cold meat and cheese platter or munchy type food for the pool side.

About the restaurant : usually its a nice experience , the food is above average quality and the service is not the slowest.However, today the experience was not what I was expecting. Cold food, slow service even though its late and there werent many customers, the potion was a bit tiny and the quality of the pepper filet was a joke. It was chewy like a shoe , infused with gristle and overcooked.Today it was definelty not worth it , chipsi ai kuku at a street vendor would have been the better choice

Its a good place with lovely views...its also very quiet...serene experience.1. But i had bad experience from the hotel manager. I think her customer service leaves a lot to be desired2. I had an aircon in the room that sounded like a grinding mill all night3. I tried calling the reception on all their 3 numbers. None was picked up.The small details were the big things for me. Wont be going back there soon

If you follow my reviews you know Im brutally honest. The ambiance in this place is unmatched. Its nicely quiet, guests are friendly but still mind their own business so thats a plus. The breakfast is just lovely and opposite this hotel is a restaurant called Pweza Pweza. I recommend it.

Service has become horrible. Not sure if I should tie it to prejudice or colourism. There needs to be a change. It used to be one of my favourite places, however now it feels like just a place I once knew. We deserve the same service as anyone else. We pay and tip so get your acts together. Otherwise its just a glorified area which has a set of its own “clientele”.

This is a review for the restaurant only as we did not stay in the hotel. The food at the restaurant was amazing and very well priced! The fruit juice was fresh and tasty. The black fettuccine was my favorite!!! I will get it again. Very nice restaurant and great atmosphere. Also, our child had a great time in the little playground outside after dinner. We will return :) Highly recommended!

Ive been here a couple of times. It has a really good ambiance and the restaurant being right next to the beach makes it an ideal place for sundowners and relaxation. The greenery is beautiful!. The food however is very very average and plain, maybe even too plain for the price tag. But a good place to relax.

This is an amazing restaurant and it has some of the most amazing views of the ocean that you can find in Tanzania 🇹🇿. They have some awesome 👌 seating options (the beach lounge and the upstairs bar tie for first place). They seem to keep a large, work focused staff that are always available when you need them. Ive been here several times so far and the dishes are always impressive (I love the lemon-butter fish sauce). Theres also a kids play area on the grounds and its also right on the beach so it would be easy to take a quick stroll before or after your meal. I would certainly recommend adding this restaurant to you list of places to visit if you are in Dar Es Salaam.

Great place to relax and have your privacy

Well, it seems a very nic place with great views and great atmosphere, but once again somewhat ruined by the service and staff - wifi is not passed out to others than only hotel guests, they failed to provide us with just a fried egg because they had a breakfast buffet opened, big americano was braught in 2 cups. We didnt stay for much longer.

I will give it 3 bcoz of the hospitality and customer care is abit low. You need to consider that as they should not or cherry the white but blacks too. Secondly, they dont make you feel welcomed as they just do wat they are suppose to do but the tablet menu on the table. In general improve your customer care service bcoz I was here to stay but had to take an ice tea and left.

I was really amazed by the design of this hotel restaurant.The traditional touch to it is so great, makes one have the real feel of an Africa City. The restaurants open view over the sea, the feel is just the best i have felt in Tanzania. The ocean view and the evening breeze is fantastic.The hotel rooms are great with a fantastic design between traditional and modern.I really had a great time and I will definitely be back.

Not so great. Waiter service was very poor. Food was not so great and not value for money. Breakfast was the worst. Everything on breakfast was not fresh. Very little choice. Rooms were clean but restaurant was not such clean environment. Room service wanted to charge 24,000 for a coke to order in room service while the guest info in the room says 25% extra charge for room service service which comes to 5000 for a coke. Due to holiday season they were ripping off the charges with small helping serving and poor service.

Cool and chill place. Really peaceful and same time, living place, vibrant of a real nice atmosphere with art of lighting during night. Food is just delicious, very generous portion, you will be just amazed! Staff very professional and kind always with a big smile!

Went to mediterraneo for lunch. Very Various dishes, we tried fish, meat, pasta and salad and everything was tasty. You are sitting near the seaside and it’s very pleasant. The prices are good. There a chilling atmosphere, a big pool, some nice comfortable Long chairs. Absolutely recommended

A beautiful seaside location with a nice restaurant. The view is great and comes with a nice breeze. There are a number of different table setups and styles - facing the ocean, couches or more traditional table and chairs. The food is enjoyable too and there is a nice green walking path in.

This hotels restaurant is located overlooking the ocean and the decor is lovely.The food on the other hand was sub par. I ordered a mix grilled seafood platter and I am not sure whether they confused my order with another platter but it was not what it said on the menu. It missed sauces, seasoning and any kind of flavour. Worst of all the seafood was dry and overcooked. This is unnacceptable seeing as the price of the meal was quite high.The service was good and friendly although they werent busy. But there was an issue with paying by card where my sister was charged by her bank app but it did not reflect on their paper receipt. We had to go withdraw the cash to pay and they still have not reversed the transactionI have been here previously and had good food together with the service, decor and view is why am giving it 3 stars instead of 2. But honestly this place needs to do a lot better to live up to its reputation

A hidden gem in Dar Es Salaam. Lounge chairs with a sea view, family tables in the sand or gorgeously looking sturdy tables around the bar area all with sea view. The food is delicious, pizzas are of good quality and reasonable size. Staff know how to treat customers well. The beach in front of the restaurant is clean and safe. This is certainly a romantic place, and my favourite restaurant in Dar.
