Not easy to communicate with most of staff here, bad English.The city isnt clean and not safeThe hotel is in the middle of crowded road, too noisy here, they got like 300% over prices for items you buy.

Was not that good as the room Ac were noisy and sometime failed to operate. The TV set was there just physically not working properly as the channels are not seen, the door to the bathroom had no handle, so had a bad night over there and I told the attendant who was so charming but helpless!

My family and I arrived from India on a night time flight and since we were staying for 3 nights we qualified to be picked free by the hotel shuttle and true to their promise they were at the airport in time.Whats more they allowed us express free check in at 5 AM before the official check in time of noon and we were so grateful together with my wife as we had 2 small kids in tow.Mr.Ben the Guest Relations Officer went out of his way to give us discounted City Tour escort services.The evening Terrace bar is lovely as you are able to see ordinary Tanzanian people walk past the hotel entrance as you enjoy your drinks.My wife liked the fact that the rooms are affordable without compromising clean liness or services provided.I definitely recommend Sawe Hotel Dar es salaam as one of the Best Budget hotels in Dar es salaam City Tanzania.

Good rooms, fairly decent restaurant and bar. Electricity was available 98% of the time, which is quite high for Tanzanian standards. Fast wifi as well!Only annoyance is the mosque just behind the Hotel - ask for a room facing the road, otherwise be prepared to get a wake-up call at 4 AM each day.

Visited Dar es salaam with my friend over the weekend of 30th May, we happended to have stumbled to Sawe Hotel by chance. There services were good, their breakfast and room services were great, clean spacious rooms with satellite TV channels. Their proximity to Mlimani City mall and the city centre by both public and private transport anytime of day is what I liked most.

Excellent hotel at a very reasonable price. Small problems with bathroom plumbing and missing toilet seat need checking. Food good.
