Spent 11 days in Peninsula hotel, very nice hotel considering the paid rate, spacious rooms/suites with nice balcony, nothing missed in the room, but adding small microwave will make it great, very helpful housekeeping in 2nd floor, and in general all the stuff were very helpful including room service and reception team, you can notice the hotel manager going around all the time checking the guests for any complaints or feedbacks, i read some complaints about breakfast varieties, but in my opinion it was fine, and changing the offered items every day, i didnt try the main restaurant, a small problem happened during my early check-in, that I requested early check-in with the suite booking, but the reception person told me that there are no suites available either for early check-in or even my normal stay !!, then we arranged that i stay in normal room till the afternoon time until he check for a solution with the management, so by afternoon my suite were ready, so i think the first response were some how a mistake from the reception person, any how it was a nice saty in general which Im willing to repeat

The hotel is very nice and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and well skilled. The location is very good. There are like 3 or 4 restaurants nearby, supermarket, gas station. Night clubs like Elements or Samaki Samaki are just around the corner. Every room is equiped with balcony. The only problem is a light on the balcony attacking eyes. Its not possible to turn it off.

A beautiful place, the rooms are spacious our baby enjoyed running around and playing with the big mirror, clean too, close to many eateries, they took good care of us at breakfast. We are definitely coming back.

The Best Western Plus peninsula was a very nice stay!The rooms were clean, well kept and much much bigger than I had thought. Even had 2 sofas and a coffee table!!Massive bed with lots of pillows.. The shower was equally impressive. Large mirrors, louts of towels. 👌🏽The service at the reception desk was professional and very responsive. Ive enjoyed my short stay a lot.Would definitely be back here next time I visit Dar..

Reasonable prices nice rooms

Not the most affordable but, not the most expensive either.Nice hotel, nice restaurant, not overly good food. Used to be good, took a terrible dip but on my last stay (Nov 2018) improved again. Reasonably nice breakfast selection.Located in a nice area. Walking distance from the beach. Arts and crafts close by.Brace yourself, in traffic it can take two hours or more to get there from the airport.Good for staying more than one night.

I just wish there was a minus rating possible through Google Maps. They are thieves of Dar Es Salaam, whole of Tanzania. I booked room for four nights. I cancelled it within free cancellation dates but still they deducted money from my credit card. Not only that they also refused to refund. I wrote to Best Western Customer Care but they do not do anything apart from making empty and fake promises. They really have no control on the property . In the end they will do that properties are independently managed so I have to get in touch with hotel directly. Now somebody care to explain then why the hell customer service centres are opened. I will give this hotel minus 10 or may be minus 100. They can become rich with those 380 USD they cheated from me. God is watching ..... I hope some people will wake up and stop using thieves of Tanzania.

Nice hotel and pocket friendly

I really liked my stay at the hotel. Staff was very welcoming, room was clean and internet was very good. Food was ok. The reason why not 5 stars has to do work the LED lights next to the door. I am assuming it is for security but for those of us who like to sleep in the dark, it would have been good to have an option to turn them off. I resorted to putting my suitcase in front of it every night.

The hotel is very good.the rooms are very big with big balcony. The place is very neat and clean. There is an Indian restaurant moto mahal and food is very good. The breakfast can get slightly better but they give you if requested. It is close to happening places. Staffs are very good. Overall an excellent experience

I was here with family for dinner. We had an Indian cuisine. The food was spiced on point. Personally, i didnt enjoy the naan. It was too oily and crisp. The dinning area and the lounge are beautiful and well organized. The staff are friendly and welcoming too.

Hello every body,I want to share a probity and very honesty situation I experienced with all of the crew members.1 month ago approximately I left the room on the way to the air port to my resident country after long amazing vacation in Tanzania,When I reached the air port it was 15 minutes remain for check in, then i recognize that I left a huge amount of money in the safe of the room.With hand shaking I called to the reception to explain what happened, within 1 minute they call me back said all the amount in their hands and it will be safe until my local body will come to collect it in a few days, and thats exactly what happened and I received 1 week later all the money back.Im so so so thankful for all of the crew members, of course Ill return to enjoy Best Western Plus Peninsula Hotel, Number one in service and Loyalty!

Average hotel, a bit run down. My room sink was blocked and was left leaking after repaired. Gold has old stuff and most machines dont work. TV is mostly Indian and Arabic channels. Good English breakfast though.

If you are looking for the Good Indian food then I must say this one of the best place to stay in DAR. They have good Indian chef who prepares good Indian food.You can even ask him to make food of your choice.This hotel is next to the COCO beach.Also most of the food courts like Pizza Hut is next to hotel.

The hotel is in a great place, close to bars and restaurants which is a big factor for me. The room was very nice, very impressed, the hotel itself is clean and well kept, only down side to it is that there is now pool which is a shame as it is very hot out there... The staff made my stay super enjoyable and went out of their way to help me. I want to thank Awadhi Msabi for particularly making my stay unforgettable
