Very nice Hotel, the location is pretty much in the center within the walking distance to the Ferry. We had the Executive Suite rooms, they are very big, Beds are comfortable however a bit hard. The bathroom was okay as well. The breakfast was very good, quite a nice selection of different options. Last but not least the service of the hotel guests was just superb.

Decent place. Owner has maintained a level of standard. Can host multiple events including receptions/ meetings. Owners are quite accommodating. Chefs at the restaurant maintain a good standard. Rooms have alot to be desired. Other places offer better rooms with lower prices.

Very good hotel for a reasonable price. Fantastic staff. We were given a very nice welcome and we loved our stay there. Dont miss to try the food in their restaurant, its defenitely worse it: a huge menu, big portions and for a good price.Breakfast buffet was very delicious.We were accomodated on the 8th floor and could fully enjoy the balcony view and feel the vibes and energy of Dar es Salaam.

Urban Rose has apartment style rooms of 1 and 2 bedrooms. Alongside the bedroom(s), there is a lounge area with comfortable sofas, a moderate sized dining table and chairs, as well as a kitchennete. It is equipped with a microwave, small refrigerator, electric kettle with tea and coffee tray, and some plates, cups and cutlery. The rooms have AC and balcony. The staff are attentive and keep the premises clean. It is ideal for both short and long term guests. Also, ideally located in the city centre, with nearby convenient stores, taxis, and restaurants.

Tried their Saturday buffet for 22000. Somehow the taste was ok. Not at all worth the hype. The sweet qas not all worth it. The manager was going around asking for reviews which was the only thing good . Had a bad case of indigestion the next day. Better order as per the price list .

Very yummy Indian food, breakfast spread is really lavish including but not limited to Indian cuisines. Situated in the heart of the city. Apartment rooms are impressively good which includes Pantry and a bedroom.

Hotel is Situated in city centre, Food is Good, Rooms are Good. Price too High. There are much more Hotels Available nearby with less price and Good Spacious rooms.

The rooms are quite spacious ans very clean. The food at the restaurant is excellent. Service at the facility is exquisite all the way from the reception to rooms and restaurant. This was my second time here and I intend to come back again and again!

Good place for leisure

Insecure hotel, in this accommodation I caught an employee stealing money from my room, and he entered through the balcony, all within a few minutes of arriving at the hotel..the manager returned my money and as an apology I got dinner but that dinner I already paid with accommodation..luckily I only stayed one night ..

Had stayed here last year for 2 nights and it was a great experience. Although I havent tried their restaurant but have heard alot of good reviews from other..... So I have decided to stay again next week for 2 nights.

I am staying more than 16 monthos in this hotel. Modern reception at first floor is spacious with waiting lobby, Wi-Fi etc. Receptionist’s welcome everyone with welcome drinks :-)Rooms are well maintained, spacious, good ventilation. Additionally every room has sofa & dining table, smart kitchen and balcony.Excellent Hospitality, good housekeeping staff, high speed Wi- Fi as each floor has 2 boosters.Breakfast is complimentary - lot of varieties both in Veg & Non-Veg. I surprised to see Indian varieties like Poha, Vadapav, Upma, Dosa, Idly, Samosa for breakfast along with Passion, Watermelon, Pineapple & mango juice.Main course is excellent here, I tried mostly Indian & Chinese, Chef‘s were always perfect in their Job. Please don’t miss Hyderbadi Biryani, butter chicken and chicken chilly. I was privileged to have Haleem – a fine Hyderabad food; it was excellent & tasted very good to me as I never tasted it before.Location of Hotel also play important role for a Indian visitors, It’s located in Centre of city , very good access to major business hubs, banks, ferry to Zanzibar, Walkable distance to Temple, Masjid & Church. If at all if you want to eat outside & explore Indian food, within a radius of 1 kilometer you will find 90% of total Indian restaurants of Dar ES Salaam. Safety wise no issue at all, we friends roamed in midnightNow I will come to the last but very important factor to rate the highest to this Hotel , Mr. Raaj – General Manager, Pleasant personality , always seek feedback and try to provide best possible in everything & ensured that my stay was always comfortable.Overall I feel this hotel is lively and recommend it for pleasant stay.

Hotel urban rose is very comfortable to stay n center in DAR es salaam, easy to reach market, and Mr. Raj Singh (manager) is very good person, I would like to say thank you because of i have fight early morning and he was arranged to brack fast early morning 5 oclock.Helpfully staff, food is very good n testy..

What a great find! The rooms are HUGE, clean, well appointed. This is SUPE value for money at the $75.00 a night that I paid. If you are looking for adventure in Dar Es Salaam, this is a great place to base yourself. NOT your typical western hotel. I LOVED IT
